Im using the headset that came with the titan, the inline corded earbud set.
Something strange has started happening, the mic works fine for voice dialing, and for recording memo's and the button even starts voice dial like it should.
But in calls, no one can hear me talking, I can hear them fine, but unless I unplug the headset, they cant hear anything.
any clues why? seems strange it would work for every apps that uses voice just fine, but not in calls.

I have skype installed on my qtek 9000, and wanted to be able to use it from my bluetooth headset (Jabra 250). I started skype from the qtek screen, and of course could not get the bluetooth audio to stay on for more than a few seconds. The cyberon voice dialer keeps starting up, and as soon as it is through waiting for sound, it shuts down and so does the bluetooth headset audio. I happened to create a voice tag to start skype, and made a 100% repeatable discovery. If I start skype from the headset, I have continuous audio. Even if I shut skype down in memory, running programs, the audio continues in the jabra. If I start skype from the qtek screen, this does not happen. Once I have the continuous audio connection, a simple press of the headset button reverts all to normal. Hopefully there will be some information here to allow a hack of the audio gateway problem.
i just tried to reproduce this on my mda pro with jabra 800...it worked..actually it is my feeling it worked ecactly every other time.but this is ok too, if one knows it you can tell by the noise in the headset if its connected or not..amazing...what a useful information...great! thanks for posting...interesting no one else jumped on it yet...the question now is how to get an incoming call into the headset...
So you're saying you can listen to audio over the headset or something?
V
vj: thats exctly right...isn't that amazing? the moment you get the headset connected through bringing up skype with the voice tag, the headset stays connected until you disconnect it again by pressing the appropriate button on the headset..even if then you switch apps it stays on..you hear every system sound etc in the headset.obviously the sound is a noisy phone headset sound and sure has nothing to do with a2dp..but you hear...actually i just tried to do the trick with assigning a voice tag to media player...didn't work...but skype can initiate it and keeps it up...cool...
AndyME: give me a few mins and I'll show you a better trick... coming soon
V
you know what: i expected something like this from you when i saw that apparently you got nterested...lol...the good thing about this trick is: you do not have to restart the device to get into this mode..although i stll have not figured 100% out how to make it happen for sure...it kind of works sometimes and sometimes not...now i am curious to see what you are coming up with....lol...
Ok Andy, finally finished the webpage.
Please check it out here:

You basically want to try the -agon option. It should, I hope, transfer audio straight over to your headset. I hope.

I have the SPV M600 and I use the Nokia HS-12W. A2DP works fine and the appropriate wireless stereo and headset profiles are loaded. The problem is when listening to music and a call comes in, the music stops playing and I can accept the call, I can hear the caller but they cant hear me, I've checked to ensure the mute function isnt active on either the phone and the nokia headset but no matter what I do, the caller cant hear me. This happens about 4 out of every 5 calls, its gotten so bad I no longer use the headset for answering calls, just for listening to music. Has anyone seen this before or know why the mic doesnt seem to be transfering audio when I receive a call. Also this sometims happens even when I'm not listening to music and a call is recieved. Do I have a hardware fault wuth the phone or the headset? As i said, it doesnt happen everytime, about 80% of the time.
Hi All: I have paired the headset fine with my phone and made calls before but I can not switch a call from the handset to the headset while a call is already in progress. Once I end the call, I can pair the headset fine to make a NEW call but I'm having problems switching the call when it is already in progress. I can go to the phone and manually switch it to hands free but I thought that if I powered on the headset while a call was already in progress, that would route the conversation from the handset to the headset. Is that correct or can it not do this without some tweaking? Thanks.
I have the same setup and I can answer the call on the phone, then "open" the H700 and the phone re-directs the call thru the headset within about 2 seconds from opening the headset.
If I'm on the headset, I can press and hold the call button on the H700 and the call goes on hold. I can "close" the headset and then un-hold the phone using the touch screen and resume the call on the 8525.
Now I believe that the standard bluetooth stack is crap, and I have had many instances where the phone just stops linking the Bluetooth. I can usually restore the link just by using the comm manager to turn off the bluetooth radio, then turning it back On. I have even done this during a call and it worked.
I have always had solid, loud audio with the H700, BUT, several callers have mentioned that my voice was often clipping a word every few seconds. I don't know what that's all about.
Do you know whether you need to select any special settings or do anything special in the pairing setup with the phone or headset? I do not know how to have the conversation directed to the headset after turning it on when I am already on the call. It works fine to start a new call or to answer a call directly through the headset but can't join a call in progress. Would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks.
I have Cingular 8125 WM6 with Voice command. I can hear the phone ringing through my headset, and can hear my voice command and it works fine through the headset, however when I make a call no sound will come through my headset even though the hands free symbol is being shown, and the person I call cannot hear anything at all. Anyone have any ideas? If I make a call with the headset off and then turn it on it will work fine and if someone calls me I can listen to it through the headset fine, the problem comes in trying to call them myself.
Hello everyone, I run into a really weird problem on my Note 4 when receiving voice calls while using a bluetooth headset.
Summary:
If BT headset is not already connected before initiating or receiving a voice call, you have to press bluetooth button during the call to direct sound to phone and then back to the BT in order to get the mic on the headset to work.
More Details :
1. Incoming Voice call
2. While phone is ringing i turn on the bluetooth headset.
3. I answer the call(Either from phone or the headset)
4. I can hear the other party, but he doesn't hear me.
5. The bluetooth headset mic is not working, neither the phone's mic.
6. If i press the bluetooth icon on the phone(while in a voice call) to direct audio to phone, everything works fine.
7. If i press again to direct audio back to bluetooth headset, everything works fine.
8. If the headset is already connected to the phone before i receive the voice call everything works fine.
9. If i make a voice call (maybe cause headset is already connected?) everything works fine.
10. Problem doesn't occur if it's a VOIP call through skype viber etc.
10. Using plantronics Marque M165 & M55, I have unpaired both repaired, cleared bluetooth cache etc problem still there. Lollipop 5.0.1.
For me it's a big issue since if i have the phone in my bag/pocket i have to take it out in order to be able to use the headset, which kind of defeats the purpose.
Anyone facing this ? Any suggestions?
Sorry for the long post & thanks in advance !
Anyone?
Anyone with similar problems ? Any ideas or suggestions ???
Yes, I have a similar problem, but with my car's bluetooth (the only hands free I use). This problem started after I upgraded to Lollipop, and it worked fine in KitKat.
With te device connected to the car's bluetooth, I have to make the call in the phone's Speaker mode until the other party answers. Only then I can switch to bluetooth.
If I make the call in bluetooth mode, I won't hear the ringing through the car's speakers and even after the other party answers, we cannot communicate.
This is a serious bug. It is my 4th Samsung Galaxy phone, and the only one that doesn't work properly. My previous S4 worked perfectly and I regret profoundly having bought the Note 4.
Ironically i don't face the problem you have. Mine works fine with my car's BT but i suppose this happens because in my case the car's BT is already connected to the phone.
I suppose you have tried to repair the bluetooth/ cleared BT cache etc right ?
I've just tried the phone with a Samsung bluetooth and problem solved !....So it doesn't play well with the plantronic's BT , warning for potential buyers !
