Hi!
Is there any way to extract the SMSC number from recieved SMS messages stored in Inbox. If there is no applicative way, maybe programmatically from some internal database... Is this information kept when SMS is beeing saved in Inbox ?
On my XDA II I have saved the phone numbers with the international area codes, preceded by a "+". When I try to reply to a sms or send an sms from within the phone window, the phone number in the "to" field of the sms, is pasted without the "+" and the number is not recognized as an international prefix. As I mentioned this happens only when i try to send an sms from within the phone window. When I go the contacts directly and try to send an sms, the"+" is recognized and I have no problem sending an sms.
This is a known bug on the XDA II. We're waiting for the official ROM update from O2 that will fix the problem.

I recieved a text from a contact that has 2 contact number. I recieved a text from phone# 2 from that contact and when I reply it replies to phone# 1? even though I set phone#2 as default sms number. It does not reply to the correct number. anybody experiencing the same problem?? I replied to that text message and had conversation via text and I was not aware it replied to the international number. so I got charged 30 international text messaging.
Hi, when I received a text message on my HD2 WP7 from someone in my contact, it doesn't display the sender's name, only the mobile number. Any idea, guys? Thanks.
Quick question, I need to periodically send a contact via text message. I currently have an HTC and can send the contact as an mms. My wife's galaxy 3 will only send them as a .vcf file which needs to be imported in to the receivers contact list. This does me no good. Is it possible to send just the contact info, ie: name and number in the message like the HTC or does Samsung only allow the .vcf file? I plan to purchase a G4 in the next few weeks.
