Google Android SDK
This is not the first thread about Android.
Android is NOT released. The only thing which is released is a SDK.

Hi guys. I want to start some dev on Android. I compiled new version of ADT 8.0.0 and have some Q about environment.
On http://source.android.com/source/download.html says that JDK 5.0, update 12 or higher.Java 6 is not supported, because of incompatibilities with @Override.
It's actual or not? Becaus i have jdk6 on my ubuntu by default, and i want to know reinstall my jdk or not. What jdk version do u use?
Getting myself ready for some Android Development, I'm installing the Android Development Tools in Eclipse. The other components installed in eclipse are all signed, but the ADT components, not. What's the beef? Are they not signed? Googling and searching the XDA forums provide no conclusive evidence that one can simply accept these as being unsigned. Knowing that this effects the security of most if not all of the software that is built, it makes sense to have it signed.
My system is Gentoo Linux with Eclipse 3.5.1
EDIT: References are found on the net that the Android Dev Toolkit for Eclipse is not signed.
Since there is some interesting new development on running the XNU kernel on single-core Cortex-A8, is it now possible to start exploring into iOS on HD2 again?
The resulting iOS-like platform would be built on this kernel port (with HD2 board support package, for sure) and userland binaries that is either stripped from iOS 7.1.2 (the latest build for iPhone 4) or its corresponding SDK as distributed by Apple with Xcode.
App Store, In-App Purchase and iCloud probably will be broken unless we have a way to coax Apple servers into thinking the HD2 a genueine iOS device, but installing apps over iTunes should work and other non-Apple services should work like normal.
If we are brave enough we can try binaries and libraries from iPhone 4S iOS 8.2, either from actual firmware image or from iOS SDK with Xcode.
Any version that is jailbroken can have its files extracted legally, since during jailbreak all encryption keys involved is extracted. The firmware flasher tool can be OS X only and depend on both an Apple firmware file (.ipsw) and an (free) Xcode installation with appropriate SDK installed.

I just find layout inspector but it doesn't work
I need to install an Android version that uses Dalvik/Java and not ART, any way this can be done? And/or "dual boot" your phone?
No. You can use an Android emulator on your PC, on the other hand. Buying an older phone like the G2 would make more sense to me.
Maybe, but dunno if the device drivers or chipset would support anything older. Who knows, you might be able to compile a CyanogenMod build based on KitKat or something.
As mentioned above, use an emulator or dual boot Android on PC. Check out the Android x86 project and the official Android emulator.
