This works beautifully - thank you very much. Quick online translation of instructions:
How to install: Copy the files
unmap_volume.exe And AddHotkeys.exe in a folder/Windows/startup
Make soft-reset
Go in the manager of automatic loading and check that unmap_volume.exe
It loaded by the first. If it not so - correct and again make soft-reset
Copy in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ files:
SimUp.exe, SimDown.exe.
Further go in Start/Settings/Buttons/Volume Up and Volume down
Also appoint performance of the following programs:
SimUp.exe - emulation joystick up
SimDown.exe - emulation joystick down.
How to remove:
Remove files unmap_volume.exe, SimUp.exe, SimDown.exe
Before removal of file AddHotkeys.exe finish process AddHotkeys.exe.
(for example programs Dinar MemMaid or SKTools)
Make soft-reset
The working instruction is made> Gordons095 [at] yandex.ru
Soap of the developer> des [at] mail.cz

I have a big problem with my enorme CRUISE impossible to activate the GPS to find it with nimporte browser TOMTOM; GARMIN, NAVIGON impossible detects the GPS receiver in my CRUISE Please help me HTC HAVE he forgets to save as a receiver for the driver of the chip qualcomm grrrrr.

i would suggest you uninstall tomtom. check that when u go to start/ settings/system/ external gps and then in programs COM4, Hardware none, 4800 and Access manage GPS automatically (ticked).
reinstall tomtom and allow a few minutes (although it should get a fix in a minute or less) to get a signal. if it doesn't fix after a few minutes then check the settings.
if i am not mistaken they should be
other NMEA GPS receiver
GPS baud rate = 4800
GPS is connected to COM4
don't touch the screen more than once for every option. it may take a couple of seconds to move from one option to the next. if you touch the screen twice though, you will miss some of the settings.

If nothing else work, then you need to hard reset your device.
1. Go to start>settings>clear storage>(enter)1234.
2. After the set up of the system, Install Tomtom first before you install anything else.
3. Run QuickGPS and then go outside and run Tomtom.

A way to play "La brute" with my trinity ?

May be you have already played to this little Flash game called 'La brute' (If not check this out here : http://shuryuken.labrute.fr), but i woul like to play with it on my Trinity.
Unfortunatly, when i try to, i got this error:

And of course when i click on the link, i don't find a soft for my PPC (maybe and i'm blind and i didn't find it)
do you know if there is a way to fix this with a software solution ( i have test with opera 9.5b and IE both with adobe flash player 7)
I hope someone will find a solution, this game is pretty addictive and it will be a pleasure to play it in nomade mode (and by the way to different IP can give me more apprentices with XP ^^)

Unfortunately there's not much to do.
Some flash sites require later version of flash, like 8 or 9.
Untill Adobe releases a newer version (this is a separate discussion on if and when) there's not much really that can be done!

Not possible with manila 2.1. WM 6.5 with Manila 2.5/2.6 will be available for the TP2 next tuesday and you will have the weather on the home page.
Pas possible avec Manila 2.1. WM 6.5 avec manila 2.5/2.6 sera disponible mardi prochain pour le TP2 et tu auras la météo sur la page d'accueil.

NRGZ28 ones for example.

For every HTC phone I've got, I always had problems with custom roms ...

Extracting the manilla files and installing it as an plugin might cause more problems and work than it is to just flash a custom rom.

I'm still not sure of it being possible to get weather on the home screen on wm6.1. I also don't think its possible to just install manila via cab. I can't say for sure on either but i haven't successfully gotten either of these things to work correctly

The thing is, every time I try a 6.5 rom, it works great for 2 hours and then start to get slow ...
can somebody recommand me a GOOD 6.5 rom FRA or WWE nevermind, which I can change keyboard layout to FRA.

You should use htcaddicts cleanup app. That helps a lot with bog down. Obviously I would recommend my own ROM but At0m's ROMs are great and so are Miri's. I've never tried NRGs but I hear good things

I received my HTC Rodhium last Wednesday.... It's a marvelous piece of hardware.
Are you sure that WM 6.5 with Manila 2.5 is being delivered next tuesday ?
At the moment, I find that the stock rom is working pretty well so I won't flash it.
BTW, has anyone found a good leather case that can be clipped to the belt ?
I also did mess up my protection film with multiple dust on it.... I have removed it and already have 2 very light scratches on the screen....
I have put back my protection film but I have to buy a new one.
All this to say that I already love it... So much quicker than my previous Hermes.

J'ai reçu mon Rodhuim mercredi dernier et c'est vraiment un appareil génial. Il est vraiment beaucoup plus réactif que mon précédent Hermes.... Rien à voir même. Je ne pensais pas qu'il pouvait y avoir autant de différence.
McDoPDA : Es-tu certain que WM 6.5 et Manilla 2.5 seront mis à disposition mardi ? Où vais-je pouvoir les récupérer ?
Pour une fois, je trouve que la ROM livrée avec Orange est vraiment parfaitement utilisable et très stable. J'ai installé toutes mes applis (y cormpris Blackberry Connect) et je ne constate aucun ralentissement. Tout fonctionne à merveille.
Au passage, est-ce que quelqu'un aurait trouvé et essayé une housse de protection en cuir que l'on puisse attacher à la ceinture ? Ca me gave de l'avoir dans la poche.
J'ai également merdé avec mon film de protection et maintenant, il a de la poussière. Je l'ai enlevé 2 jours, j'ai déjà 2 micro rayures sur l'écran. Pour un maniaque comme moi, ca me fout les nerfs. J'ai commandé 2 films chez Expansys parce que dans ma région, on ne trouve rien du tout (même le Rodhuim lui même )

I have spent the last 4 days with my new Pro2 and cooked roms over and over. I have to say I kinda like the base Telus 6.1 Roms... I just wish it had the neat weather animation on the Manilla. I am glad to see I'm not alone... but it looks like we may be in a minority. I'll keep watching this post for a solution.

no W6.5 with M2.5 has full landscape working thats why ive stuck to 2.1, seems a waste of the keyboard etc not have landscape in all applications
once a phone running 2.5 with a keybaord is released we may have it

[Q] APN configuration on Dynamics 2.0

I'm having trouble to configure my APN settings on last Dynamics (2.0) Rom.
The question have already been asked for this, or others roms, but the answers that satified the users in all the thread i found didn't work for me. So here is my case :
My phone
Samsung Omnia 7
Windows 7.8 (7.10.8862.144)
Rom : Dynamics v2.0,
Here are all the solution i tried (for what i remember), I think the issue might come from the KK2 update from samsung, but i don't really know what it does :
Nokia, HTC, Samsung, LG, fujistu "network pofiles" or "APN settings" app :.
(didn't work, couldn't launch, or had the wrong provisioning files (for samsung network profile, couldn't edit them in anyway, for all i know)
ProvXML solution :
via diagnosis, homebrew provxml app, cabsender. Any of them could see or the .xml files. I found that its probably the KK2 update that disabled the use of ProvXml files on samsung devices
WP7 root tools :
Tried by myself and by looking for hints on forums to manualy edit the existings APN settings with mine. Obviously some of them were hide.
Samsung Tools solution :
Use diagnosis to delete the existing APN parameters and launch Samsung Tools run ADC option to automatically configure Data and MMS settings on reboot. This solution actualy bricked or relocked my phone (Half of my homebrew apps don't launch anymore : xap deployer, root manager, WP7 root tools, but WPH Tweaks for exemple still works)
Every time i reseted my phone to be sure i didn't had a alterated OS, registry etc, but i'm starting to getting sick of reseting my phone again and again because it fails again and again. Maybe we could turn this thread into a guide so set APN settings (i'm obviously not the only one to ask this question) and put in order, all the solutions to try, until it works.
But i'll be needing you for this, if i forgot some solution, i will edit my post, and add the links if a thread exists explaining the solution.

What do you mean by "why KK2" ? it's in the update. Samsung decided it, not me ? I'm not sure what you wan't to know.
I picked the Dynamics 2.0 because it's (for what i know) one of the latest and cleanest Rom, basicly its full unlocked, some root apps (xap deploy, WP7 root toold, etc) installed and that's prelly much it.
And i think the difficulty to change APN settings (its already difficult with WP7 alone, but now its worse) comes from this specific KK2 update, not from the Rom.
So the 7.10.8107.79 OS update would bring the firmware update (KK2) with it to any Rom.
My question is : Where the problem comes from ?
In a post from 1800pocketpc we have a first answer : @wphonehacker reach out to us and informed us that Samsung didn’t block the WindowBreak hack specifically, but they blocked provxml, which was being used way before WB existed.
But is it really from this KK2 update or it is from the ROM ? I the first case i could use any Rom, but be carefull not to update the phone. But even if it changed the way of editing APN (because they really can't just delete this possibility), isn't there any other way to edit APN than to use provxml ? If it comes from the ROM I will change it, but for wich one ? Which rom is fully unlocked, up-to-date and clean (no dark theme or what so ever)
Its not like if we were trying to modify any weird parameters, some app on the marketplace does it.
I may have found a solution with this 1800pocketpc post though (IF the problem comes from the KK2 firmware update). It would be to flash again the Phone with an un-updated Dynamics (or other) Rom, and update the OS without updating the firmware :

And weird thing, i remember when the Rom was up to date, the pre-existing version of samung's "Network Profile" app was working : i could change APN settings but with US provisioners, i'm from france and couldn't use any of them.
When i updated Network Pofile, THEN the app told me "You're using the wrong device or your decide isn't up to date, try to update it with zune" (something like this).
SO there is still a way to change APN, but i can't find a way to change provisionners list, OR to do it manualy (type yourself all parameters).

Is this Rom totaly skin free ? (except wallpaper or the boot picture, don't care for thoses)

Oui je suis français, et j'ai vu que tu devais surement l'être aussi (tu es pas mal présent sur generation mobile par exemple, si j'ai bien compris). Mais je me suis dit que ces posts pourraients servir à d'autres, donc continuer à l'usage : en anglais ^^.
Sinon je voulais savoir si le projet "Imagine" était actif ?
A force de reformater mon telephone et de remettre des applications, seulement les utiles etc, je suis en train d'essayer d'imaginer une rom en quelque sorte "parfaite".
Bon je sais pas trop comment fonctionne le projet, je suppose que vous ne pouvez pas nonplus cuisiner une ROM pour chaque membre du forum, au pire des cas, j'essaierai de faire ma ROM avec ton Tuto.

Hi ! Rom finaly installed, APN configured with the Nokia Network Setup App (smartly hidden in parameters)
I miss something from the dynamics 2.0 though : the Clock Hub tile ( mediafire.com/download/kt8n79jq1bbkvia/Clock_Hub_v1.0.0.0.xap )
When installed and pinned it says "Clock Hub native part isn't running. Wait a little."
Is there a reason to this ?
Also i miss the default battery appearance, any way to get the old one ?

On clock hub, I do not know because my omnia 7 does not work for now, but I think clock hub is the property of the xda team, and I think he does not want it to be integrated into other rom that the their. To be confirmed...
For battery appearance, yes I can make you a cab, but you do not like the percentage?

Well actualy its not the percentage i'm not liking, but i prefer the régular display (as percentage goes to 5 - 10 - 20 - 30, etc its not really more pecise)
and percentage was displayed on the Clock Hub (with all numbers : 53,54,55,56, etc). But i understand that they may have protected it ! I'll find something else maybe .
