MDA compact 2 overclocking?

Hi,
How can i overclock my MDAc 2 ? Didnt find anything....
And what software do you recommend ?
Ok got it with xcpuscalar.
Try this:

by Avers
^^ OmapClock.exe is crashed every time...
Can't use it on my Device.
XCPUScalar works...
thx
thanks...
But... how can i ged rid of the branding crap ? And is it possible to remove the Simlock ? Because i have more than my primary card and the others dosnt work.
And how fast are you running yours ?
SIM-Lock, etc. look at this:

Brandings mmh
- what do you want to remove?
Splashscreen (~BootLogo)? http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=22305
Carrier.gif in Windows-Folder?
Greetings
HuiBuh
Worked perfect, thx!
problem: after overclocking (and even closing xcpuscalar and turning it to 200MHz) the camera dosnt work! why that?
ups
mmh - i don't have such Problems with XCPUScalar...
If SoftReset doesn't help, maybe the CPU-Clock is too low for Camera
- can't imagine that but why not
Greetings
HuiBuh
Can I replace the carrier.gif file with any other .gif or does that file must have specifications (colors, measures,...) to make the system boot properly ? What if i just delete and do not replace the file ?
I don't have that carrier.gif and it Displays the actual Provider as text
- so you can delete it...
When replacing i would use the same pixeldimensions...
Greetings
HuiBuh
Too low ? no... softreset helps, even closing Xcpuscalar... but that sucks.
edit: is there a simple way to turn on/off bluetooth by klicking on a icon or something else ? Dont want everytime to go to the settings.
I dont have this file in my ppc. my carrier is one (austria).
And what wasnt answered yet: How high have you overclocked your ppc ? My MDAc 2 runs fine @ 472MHz ! (scared of switching to 500 )

my PDA works perfect at 650 MhZ. I use Pocket Hack Master. But my Qtec is Very hot at this frequecy.
But this isnt a PPC like mine? (MDA compact 2) or ? Cant really imagine that it would run that high. Whats your stock frequency?

it's Qtec S100. the original frequency is 416 Mhz. It's quite a problem when you want to overclock magician, cause as far as i know the bus frequency is locked by the manufacturer. But it can be changed a little  I used "half turbo" in pocket hack master. also, i tested my PDA in TCMP by playing the movie. The results are very good!
P.S. in XCPUScalar I had NO increase of speed according to the tests.
@woveside: can u give me the exact settis for qtek s100 ? when i tried to overclock my device with pocket hack master, aftet clicking on "test settings" my device locked up, even after a soft reset it didnt work, i had to hard reset it to work again. and xcpuscalar didnt have any effect.
The original frequency is 416MHz ? Thought that I have read that it was lower..... okay, my fault. Putting Xcpuscalar to 300 oder 400 makes is much faster opening applications, etc! Dont know why. Pocket Hack Master wont even start!
XCPUScalar DOES NOT work on the MDACompact2 - even the developer says so - it may display numbers but it isnt doing anything
The MDAc2 runs at 180Mhz and you have to use OMAPCLOCK as they have OMAP processors - not x-Scale
OMAP 180 is 'supposed' to be equivalent to x-scale 400
You can use OMAP Clock to run at about 250-275... There another thread running on this.
My opinion is the advantage of OMAP is the battery use is much more phone like compared to the power hungry x-scale

overclock

can someone help me find the over clocking tool I just cant seem to find it
Well I think the best tool to overclock your Wing is HomeScreen Plus Plus. Just google that and download the "advanced" one or the "UI" version.
Or you can look up omabclockplus but I greatly dislike that one.
HS++ Allows you to also underclock your phone when it isn't being used so you get a way longer lasting batter

well i see your using OTP 7.3 which is a m2d enabled rom so you might want to install home ++ and then secondtoday to activate it because as you might have noticed you cant activate any other plugins while m2d is on...
homeScreen ++

Overclock and Actionscreen

Hey there,
I'm gonna buy a blackstone the next days and now have the normal Touch using batterystatus to overclock ist.
Is it also possible to overclock the blackstone? I didn't find an answer to that question by now.
I also use the (HTC?) actionscreen as softkey right, does that app also work with the HD?
Thanks.

Sebastian
Can't nobody help me?
The only app that i know of for overclocking your device does not support the Qualcomm chipset. Sorry.

Hi.
Actionscreen works rigth (at least in my spanish ROM, using the Fabliv 9 Btn Diamond Actionscreen).
Sorry, but no idea about overcloking the HD.
Regards.
Battery status was able to over clock arm processors, not qualcomm, as fare as I know there is no way (as of yet) to overclock the HD as I have been looking for a way to overclock the polaris which runs the same chip... anyways the chip is running at 528, why would you want to speed it up, it doesn't need it.

Yes it does.
Could be a useful workaround for video playback, as until a video driver or an optimized CorePlayer comes out video processing relays entirely on CPU, so overclocking should give a visible improvement performance-wise.

Well, idk what Homescreen Plus is (link??) but overclocking isn't extremely noticable. You might notice quicker loading, etc, but it all matters how much you overclock it.
Is Homescreen Plus even an overclocker? I couldn't find it, lol.

How to overclock Qualcomm MSM7200A?

Hello,
wann overclock my CPU but cannot find specific tool to do with Qualcomms MSM7200A-Processor.
Who can help?
And if someone can help, what max speed is preferred not to destroy CPU and causing freezes?
Many thanks!!!
I suggest you to try nueclock. I am using it on my TP & its just working great. Or else you can try speedbooster if you have enough time to tweak the processor yourself. Google for both the things.
There's only underclocking solutions out yet, no overclocking tool!
Search for nueDynamicClock and nueClockControl and you have found what you need!
search google for htc performance xda developers, and there should be a listing for Htc performance cab, its attached there for xda-developer members, i've tried this on my us cellular tp2 and it seems to work pretty well, it doesn't overclock as much as nuerom's solution for the TP but it does give a 100 mhz boost to clock speeds

I can't find it, only found a thread for the Apache, no Touch Pro 2/Tilt 2 cab.
try this
This may let your TP2 run at 624Mhz. Give it a try.
This seems to be a really old cab. I hope it doesn't mess up the TP2 somehow.
anybody tried this on a stock rom yet? i want to try it but i dont want to be the first person to die from an exploding phone! also, can you tell me what this cab does to the registry? id be interested to know what values it changes. THANKS
I would be happy to know about it as well.please anyone?
I'm using the the 3/5/10 Mr. X rom and when i install this cab nothing happens, no options, no program icon. rom actually seems sluggish after a soft reset :/
ok with stock 6.5 rom sktools showed no change in clock speed. i didn't notice anything different. so i am guessing it does not work.
They did manage to overclock the G1 to 780 mhz using the same processor.

I think it's easier to change the clock speed on Android, as many Android devices have been successfully overclocked. Even the Kaiser, which is natively a Windows Mobile device, runs at 528MHz with Android. It's seems that it's quite possible to overclock the MSM7xxx series, it's just not that easy (especially with Windows Mobile)
I have try'd it. Works realy good but my akku power get very quick away. But i use it only to watch Movies or ... and must times i do this with kabel.
