Hi, can't find it in search but is there any way to hack the font size in windows mobile 6? I use reading glasses and don't want to use them to use the phone! Or is there any application that would do that? Any help appreciated.
/menu start/settings/system/screen last tab? (and softreset).

There are a few settings I have played with in the past for the same reasons.
HKLM\System\GWE\MENU
1) popfnt
2) barfnt
adjust the Ht value in decimals
But you will have to adjust them to your liking, try 950 to start.
I know that there are others I just can't think of them at this time.
Thanks for response, will try them out.

Hey guys,
Anybody know where to get some font packs for WM6? Specifically Cambria (that's my favorite font), but I would like others as well.

You can just drag over the Cambria font from Vista to your phone. Stick it in the \windows\fonts folder and you should be good to go.
So regular fonts from windows are compatible with windows mobile? That's AWESOME!!! lol

It seems that some are and some aren't. Not completely sure which is which as I haven't really moved many over.
Yeah. I just realized that they're hit and miss. If you have ClearType enabled in the system, and on Wisbar, Georgia.ttf looks excellent. As does Cambria. Thanks for the heads up though.
thanks for the font, i will install it on my wm6 2

Is there a program that can assign specific fonts to only a certain program since I use a hebrew font for some and others get screwed up.
Thanks!!!

Hi!
I usually have to wear glasses in order to read messages and the contact name I have to call. I tried to set the zoom as larger as possible, but still I have to use glasses.
Is there any shell, program or whatelse that can help me use the small Diamond screen without glasses, making it more user-friendly?
TNX in advance
I dont think so! By zoom do you mean:
Start > Settings > System Tab > Screen > Text Size > Largest ???? If not try that

You could attempt to simply turn off tf3d and use windows 6.5, i think its easier to navigate 6.5 if you cant read the stuff on tf3d

You can try this, i know it works on smartphones:
there are some config file for the font size of SMS and email ...
\windows\read_style.css
\windows\iframe_style.css
\windows\thread_style.css
open it with Pocket Word and edit the "font size" field...
That's the best i can do for you; as for the rest of the Windows mobile, sorry...
Attach a magnifying glass to it, duck tape can be used to hold it
get lasik..

If you have problems seeing text when on max size I suggest you buy a phone from Doro.

I'll try to create a personal bigger font theme
Why dont you try Adisasta WinMobile Lens Pro or WinMobile Magnifier. Not sure if it will work on a diamond but you can give it a go. I used it on my old k-jam.

Does the Ozone (Maple/Willow) utilize ClearType?
And does anyone know how to tweak the settings? I cannot find a place to do it in the settings folder.

Thanks Pri (my personal search assistant),
I found that and the control panel addon. What I'm wondering is it used as default in the Maple/Willow?
Specifically I wonder because I've noticed the rendered type in some programs (Skyfire, IE, etc) is not as clear as others. I'm curious - if ClearType is on, would this be an issue with the various apps or if it's not active, would it be an issue that ClearType could resolve.

Hey guys,
When I try to add the ClearType key, I get a "Access Is Denied" prompt. Is there anyway around this? I'm using the Snap unlocked international version btw...
Thanks.
Hey guys,
Since i found the icon size pretty big on the HD2, i want to make them a lot smaller.. so there'll fit more on the screen at the same time.
How can i achieve this?.. i already found some forums on the internet wich indicate i have to hack the register and change some regs.. wich i dont prefer

There are cabs that makes the changes in registry for you.. If you don't want that then its not possible =)
Icon size changer
I found a useful program: Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.5.4.cab
Simply copy the file to your SD card, run Windows Mobile Device Center, File management, and click on it to install it.

As stated above, use Co0kie's Home Tab. You can select 3x3, 4x4, 5x4 or 5x5 quicklinks on the home tab (amongst other stuff).
Incidentally, don't go for v1.54 - that's way old. There's v1.61 available now with much more options in it.
You'll probably want to look at the CHTEditor that helps you change the settings for it. You can get the link for that out of my signature. I've read that the author of that application is particularly handsome and smart, and all the ladies love him! lol

hi
I would like to know if can I change fonts size on the galaxy tab 7 7 with Honeycomb ? And how?
the fonts sizes are really small. I can't read it
There is a free app called Big Font for solving this problem.
However, I found that some app doesn't work well with Big Font, among which is the default Calendar app. You could still read the calendar with some other calendar apps, say Pocket Informant (paid), though.
thank you but I meant tthe system system font not apps
or does the Big Font do system font size?
A simple search would have found several threads that answer this question.

I wasnt being rude, just not ehuggy either. Lack of search is what flutters this forum and makes good info harder to find for others.

Have you tried Spare Parts?
Yes, bigfont will change the system font size. It doesn't work in Kindle and most readers but they have their own font changing ability.
It also won't change the startup screen or the text under icons but all in all, it works well.
