where is internet explorer EXE located in WM6 ? i need the exact path....thanks in advance.

It depends on the rom but it is usually in the winsows directory. Just use resco explorer and get the path that way.

That's right. You can find it at \Windows\iexplore.exe

File Association

Hi all, I have a little problem with file association.
I can't install a .CAB file anymore from my Qtek2020 because Resco Explorer opens it first with its zip-manager plug-in; so how could I do?
Thx a lot!
Cya
what if you try to do it from file explore ?
and maybe hold down the stylus untill the option menu comes up
dont use Resco Explorer so not sure if it could be a problem in general
I've tried to do it from file explorer but when i tap on the .cab file it automatically starts resco zip-manager plug-in, so I can't perform any operation!
what application stats .cab file?
if I know it I can restore the right file associations
Plz anyone has some help to give?
I'm stuck in this big trouble!
You want to associate the cab files with \Windows\wceload.exe
You can use Pocket Tweak or a number of other tools including Resco file explorer to do this.

where can I get file explorer?

Hi,
Is it a folder or drive that you have mapped? I'm asking 'cos you said:
'I map some folder of my laptop on my Jamin......'
You also said:
'and now I don't know how to unmap that drive...'
Assuming that you meant having mapped your folder, but are now unable to un-map it, a walk-around is to:
a. copy the contents of the mapped folder onto a newly created folder and
b. delete the original mapped folder.
This will get rid of it.
If however, you meant that you are no longer able to un-map a drive, I take it that the drive is a virtual one. The walk-around is to:
delete the virtual drive so that it no longer exists.
Personally, I can't see why WM5 is not allowing you to un-map a folder or drive. Perhaps a dig into the registry would de-mistify it BUT please be most careful as to what you do if you follow this route.

File Explorers for WM6

I'm looking for one that would allow me unlimited access to ROM files
Basically I want to use UPX Squeezer but Resco File Explorer won't allow me to copy some files giving the message: Access denied
Any ideas if there's another program out there that will go around this issue?
Thanks
you can try total commander, google it,it's freeware too
Some of the ROM files can't be copied out using File Explorers. For these files you need to use ROM Extractor.
