Hey guys,
i have a problem with my HTC Touch and BatteryStatus. I got my phone today and first it worked great. But now it always happens, that I start the Touch and then (before even being able to enter my PIN) the Options dialogue of BatteryStatus opens. I close it but it's not being shown on the Today screen anymore. When I try to start BatteryStatus manually, nothing happens but it is not shown under running programs.
Softresets didn't solve the problem. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Uninstall the program and reinstall it.
That will probably fix things.

I've noticed that when I add or remove a today screen plugin, the change doesn't take effect until I soft reset. I don't believe this is normal and its caused by some app or tweak I have done.
I have tried using Mortscript to force a refresh as well a freeware app called TodayRefreshCmd, but nothing seems to work short of a soft reset. I have removed all today plugins, rebooted and tried to add one like "Owner Info" and it won't show up either.
Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?
Yes Iam experiencing it. I am using a black majik rom but this did not happen before, i upgraded to black satin and now back to black majik, and later i tried to play around with the different kaiser home plug ins and now i notice whenever i try to change a background image on the today screen or any plug ins to on and off the change doesn't reflect instantly like it did before unless you do a soft reset.
any help would be appreciated.

I restored a previous backup and the problem was not there. I was using an app called HTCustom that Shadomite created for another HTC device that did different hacks for. I think that was the culprit.
If you installed any similar "Hacks" app then it may be the cause.
i had the same problem when x-button 1.5 was installed

I have a problem with my phone with certain software, and I'm trying to figure out why. I cannot run a scheduled program and have it keep working. For example, I can run notiweather and it will work and change the wallpaper for s2u2, but it won't do it again, even though its scheduled every hour. A soft reset scheduler will also not work, along with a random boot screen changer.
I reinstalled mortscript but still am getting nowhere. What else could be the problem?
I am running UL with batterystatus, s2u2 and a few more today plugins.

Start by checking your power settings under you system settings. I have known devices that when the power setting is set to Power off instead of suspend then routine programs won't run. If that doesn't work check your batterstatus settings. It sometimes can be the cause. I would recommend if these 2 do not work remove everything like it from startup and see if your scheduled updates work. If it does, manually start 1 program at a time and see if it continues to function. when it finally doesn't you probably have located your conflict and need to check it out more thoroughly.

My HD's lower tool bar at Today screen turn's white in color. So, its so difficult to see the words "Phone" and "Programe". Anyone can help in solving this problem???

did you installed any programs before this like MapKing?
yes I have MapKing installed...
delete the Mapking_SMS.lnk in your startup folder and soft reset your HD... if the bar is still washed out, uninstall MapKing.
I have reinstalled MapKing again and it works fine right now. However, I couldnt find the Mapking_SMS.lnk in the Start-up folder. "Start-Up" folder under "Windows"?? Thanks very much!

after reinstall the mapking, it works find again. However, when i soft reset my HD, the lower tool bar turn white in color again.. anyone can help or i need to uninstall Mapking r12??
I have the same problem in previous x1, it is the mapking program problem and it is cause by other program I forgotten which one. Try uninstall the programs one by one to find out or if you can remember which is the last program installed before this problem appear.

it should be related to mapking_sms...

I too had the Same Problem,
I Too had the same problem when i installed Mapking R12, but after removing the "Mapking SMS.lnk" from the Windows\Startup folder, the white bar changes back to normal.
how i wish i have seen this thread much earlier....i have reinstall my THD several times before realising Mapking is the cause for the white bottom bar...

Whenever i install a programm or tweak which changes something on htc sense, the windows lockscreen dissappears and im not able anymore to tap on emails in sense to get directly to outllok.
Ive reset my hd2 now several times, and everything works great again, but when i install just one of the following things, the lockscreen`s gone and the email problem occurs:
Vovichek_Jamrecords_20shcut_m2525.cab
Duttys Task Manager for Leo.cab
6.)Touch_X_1_percent_battery_LEO.cab
Any suggestions?

It's just coincidence that the lockscreen/email issue appears. It's a problem with the UI itself, as it will eventually happen if you don't install anything!
Just press start and then lock (bottom left softkey) and then they're back to working order again.
I imagine this will be fixed in a future HTC ROM release.
hi everybody, i installed my mobiler (so i can control my hd2 from my pc) and since then my sense main screen 'moved up' (hard to explain..look at pics).
i can see in the bottom right the my mobiler icon..but even if i disable it and softreset..well the screen is still miss-aligned (the icon is not there anymore).
my guess is that even other programs that have this type of icon would cause the same thing..
anybody experienced this b4? any help

Yeah, MyMobiler shows down there but only when you have the standard wm 6.1 plugin home screen. It shouldn't appear there while sense is activated. I have it installed also and it doesn't show up. Try disabling sense and enable it back and see what happens.
yup..i already tried uninstalling..disabling and deleting reg and then restart phone and/or sense...it stays the same .. pls help...i dont wanna hard reset again...just got everything working as i wanted...
oh..and by the way, de unde ai gasit un hd2 in rom?
i had the same problem just after the install of e-Natives Showcase
i don't know if is this program to create the issue but just after i removed it the phone went back to normal.
Just a thought, but in
start - settings - all settings - today - items
is there anything more than just HTC sense ticked? Could be that it is trying to show the app, and then show the senseui which is then trying to stack.

having this problem too, created a thread on it already http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618299 but i just found this one now
guess i will remove the showcase app and see what happens
as for your suggestion, good idea, but nope nothing else is checked for me.
