NEED Help, another broken Magician

Hello,
Yesterday i've tried to upgrade to a big storage rom. Made a copy with ntrw, modified it. After writing it to the card, I gointo the bootloader and flash it.
The problem, the modifcated Rom didnt flash proper from the SD card. 'So I tought, well just put the other one back. I TRIED THE ORIGINAL rom ALSO, but it didn't work either.
The MDA goes to the 100 %, says the flash didn't work. After a reset it's dead. Only bootloader works.
Who can help me? At first I won't to try a good nb1 file?? Ande maybe someone can tell me what i've done wrong.
I've got a dutch mda compact (t mobile version unlocked)

NO, from television.. Maybe you've noticed i'm from holland? I can't help that the english people studied their foreign languages that well. Maybe next time you can reply in fluent dutch?

Hey, you're doing great with your English, really. Generally us English are crap at foriegn languages buy you guys more than make up for our weakness.
The reason I mention George W Bush is that he is well known for mangling English words and English is supposed to be his first language. :?

well jantje i will try to put my idea of getting it running again on the table
hook it up tru usb cable
get a shipped rom of your liking from ftp .
get MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe also from ftp .
unpack the shipped rom with winrar in a folder ,copy MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe into this folder also and run the upgade tru the
MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe .if this works your device will work again

Tried that already, too bad it didn;t work

Who wants a ready cooked Aisa ROM?

If someone can upload the Aisa ROM to the FTP and post me a link, of especially the autoconfig, I'll get a version for those wanting the 1.04 radio with the 192 extended rom.
Also let me know what is wanted in the rom out of the original stuff.....
As I've never used this ROM I don't know what is and isn't needed. A lot of it will be the same as the European ROM but there are significant differences with some files.
I'll give it a few days and have it here by next weekend at the latest.
I know a lot will have already done this however there are a load who don't know and this will help them out so those who have done it, your input will be appreciated by many.

thats fine pug, I was learning how to cook rom so that I tried to combine yours one with the Asia autoconfig but after the camera fix update released, I didn't update. Anyway thanks very much pug, I had learnt damn much from you,bal666,buzz,vijay dan many more. Thanks again everyone....

Hi all, I'm very new here.. Got my XDAIIi last December. Been looking around here for days now, and I am very interested in this "cooked" Asia Rom, which I assume would work with my XDAIIi here in Malaysia.
I really have no complaints with my system so far, but would like to know what does the "cooked" ROM does to my system? What are the significant differences? Whats wrong with the camera anyway? Well i never expected anything much from its camera, but interesting to know that now it can be better!
I've read in many posts that I should really back up everything I have before performing any upgrade which would essentially be a hard reset, correct me if I am wrong, i cant backup programs right? I would need to reinstall them after the upgrade right?
I did some full backup before, is that what I need to do before upgrade? I seriously cant lose any of my calender, contacts, notes, tasks, emails, sms....
Please advise. Probably my questions are too simple, didnt see them in any of the posts

Before you replied, I had seen this file in the holding directory and downloaded and already done flashing with it.
Misleading filename. Does not have the autoconfig files in the Asia ROM.
Device Info still the old 1.11.163 not 171 as labelled.
The nbk file is same size and same date as of the PUG's 163 camera patch with O2crapstuff removed.

it was based on pug rom and I added some Asia Autoconfig. I just edit the Extended ROM. If you wish to change the version number to anything that you like, use a registry editor and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\3RDVERSION and change the MSYSTEM value to whatever you like.

Thanks, your updated ROMS now worked, at least the autoconfig utility pop-up during the hard-reset.
This is a very good ROM for me. It would be better if someone also incorporate the O2 Connect (Asia) in the Ext ROM.

does anyone have the Qtek 9100 original rom package? i think the Rom version is 1.1.7.5, Radio version is 01.13.10, and the ExtRom version is 1.1.7.105. i really need it cus im sending mine in for an exchange and i'll be in deep trouble if i can't flash it back to its original state. plz... help

well i have the nba files. if u can find a way for me to get them to you, id be more than willing...
if u know how to load an nba file etc.
mine was 1.1.7.5 9/22/05 Radio 01.01.10 extrom:1.1.7.105

im very new to this kind of stuff so i don't really know how to work with nba files. i guess i'll be able to work it if u can show me.

just have a look around this forum on how to use awizard. (do a search).
ill upload the files somewhere and u should be able to download it by tomorrow or so...
its a hefty 60mb though, so be warned

i already have the awizard software, i guess i'm just waiting for ur nba file now.

Maybe I am missing the point somewhere, but the ROM you are asking for is still in the ROM section of Wizard on the XDA FTP.
Name is Qtek_9100_RUU_Prodigy_10107105_Qtek_WWE_ship
Just download and run (CID unlock not necessary since it is Qtek for Qtek)

I would like to help you, but I do not exactly how to extract my Rom...

As I also need a french rom, I looked to a solution to extract a rom.
On an article here explaining all the needed parts to upload an Hermes, I've seen that there is ways to do a dump of your rom but not an extraction (so, you'll get only parts of the rom, not the complete rom).
So, if you're not a really advanced user (I'm a complete new user...), there is no way to extract a rom and install it somewhere else!
I'm waiting for my dutch MDAIII hope I'll get it soon (normally, next week!)

Can i make my G4 Dutch 6915 English with this?
I read in another topic a user had issues trying to convert his dutch phone to englsih. I don't think he used this rom-update though.
Is this an official hp rom? or a custom made package?

It's not really about the language that i want the english rom, i want it, because the dutch rom just is very slow. It seems the UK rom has better performance. (lots of discussion about this in dutch forums also).
But i'm not really known with the tools i should use to create a proper backup of my hw6915.
Should i use awizard? or mtty 1.4 in bootloader mode? (those were the two main options i read about in the forum here).
A little help to get me in the good direction would be appreciated.

Absolutely this is english WM5.0 rom,but u gotta make sure ur device is G4(G3.9),otherwise u can't upgrade ur device version with this which I provided.
