I have a very big problem and strange also ...with WIFI ...
This is the problem: After a HR and installing all my apps .. all is ok ! ad i can connect to my WIFI home AP ... all works great and connect allways and automatically ...
Now is where the problem begin ... When I go to the university I can also connect there (They have a free wifi with no key) all is again ok BUT when I return to my home It's not possible anymore to connect ... no matter what I do .... It won't connect anymore .... I tried to remove aP settings and re-create ... but is the same ... The only thing I can do to repair it is a HR ...... and after it all is the same ... WIFI HOME OK > WIFI UNI OK > WIFI HOME FAIL again....
I'm using last official ROM from qtek (WM5)...
Please any help would be really apreciate !

try another one e.g. 2.69.21
I tried with every rom that exists with same results ... I'm going to try something today and will tell if it works ...

Well as i see .... after conecting university ... when i try to conect to my home wifi again ... If i see the wifi conection details (ip adresses) .... All info is incorrect ... I mean DHCP,DNS and all else is still like if i were conecting in my university ... but im connecting at home !! to a different SSID is like if WM is no re-catching new connection info if the new ip adresses...
So the idea is how to make WM to set properly ALL info of the new connection (IP,DHCP,DNS,Domain name ....) and stop using the info of a different past connection ....
Please i really need help with this ....
did u try changing the channel manually?

hi,
guys i downloaded and successfully upgraded the Acer DX900 Rom i found here,
the problem is every thing is going well and theres no problem with the rom
upgrade... the version i upgraded my phone is
oldSAP ACER DX900 553 Clean ROM temp.bin
the problem is.. i cannot surf internet in any way.. i can connect to my wifi router
and it accepts the password and it even connects successfully... but while i try
to surf internet explorer.. opera or youtubeplay it says cannot find modem..
or check your internet connection!
my modem configuration that i do from connection > advance > my isp etc.. all the
configuration is correct and according to my ISP..
only i cant surf net.. it wont allow me to surf the internet saying that internet connection
not found..
please help me guys! thank you for any kind of help!

Try turning "Data Connection " ON in Communication manager.

2 other possibilities: try a hard reset and try reflashing and if unsuccesful you should post in the relevant thread f i where you found this rom

I´m on Vodafone with my Nexus one and i dont have grps or 3g anymore
wifi works fine , my phone is rooted and i´m on the new update . it al used to work fine until last night . i haven´t changed anything and according to my operator it al should work .
any suggestions ???
some more info , when i check my phone status is says the following :
Mobile network type
UMTS
Service state
in service
Mobile network state
Connecting <--- ??? maybe thats the problem ??
ok , got it working again . re-installed modaco´s superboot for ere27 4 times (!!) and my data connection is working again ( for now )
so moderator , you can put a lock/delete on this thread , problem solved
Try selecting the network manually and see if it connects fine.

I have put up Android to my HD2 - Tmob ( Meedjay new version ) . But it wont show the 3G/HSDPA ...how to config settings to add da APN ??
And the other thing is does the Inertet sharing through Pc function works ?? i really need to use it ....and when i plug in the phone , my pc dsnt recognise it ?? ADB thing wont get installed !! how can i do that ??

all of the answers to your questions can be found by searching this forum.
For starters go to APN settings and enter epc.tmobile.com, that should get you 3G and H.
The WiFi tether and Wired Tether you need the apk, I don't think these work natively on that ROM but I could be wrong.

I Installed the ****fPda 15 . all the things work properly.
I connected to my WLAN and The Web Browsing is OK. but when i want to Connect to My VPNs (which works in PC), An error like this appeared : "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THE NETWORK. DO YOU WANT TO TRY AGAIN ?"
and when I want to Update Weather the "Network Timeout" error appear.
so what I have to do ?

ohk so i connected my lappy to my hostel wifi n den made a hotspot on lappy by using hp hotspot ( and connectify also tried ) for some time it worked fyn my asus zenfone 6 connected to it den it got dead i changed my mac address on pc to create another hotspot but this time the hotspot wasnt visible on my cell the same problem was with my friends cell he has zenfone 5
does anyone know any solution to this problem i tried changin mac address of my cell so if lappy was blocking my cell it wont be able again but still didnt workd den did data factory reset n wipe cache stil no result i would hav tried flashin stock or custom rom agin if it would hav solved the problem but those things r not available for my cell yet so now i dunno just wat is the source of problem any help will be greatly appreciated

Try some other software for creating hotspots rather than the default hp one.

sry man its not working i already tried dat software stiill i cant figure out watz blocking my cell from seeing the connectionz
