no sound by incomin calls after setup wisbar advanced 2

hi all,
i've got the problem that my jam doesn't ring the bell by incoming calls. After incoming call ends, i can see on my jam unsanswered call sign.
After unsinstall wisbar advanced 2, the ring bells by incoming calls. Can anbody help?

so... here is the solution! REMOVE THIS PROGRAM.. this program is designed for standar pocket pc's and PDA's. Not for ppc Phone editions!!! i had the same problem with my O2 xda 2 mini

I'm not sure how relevant this is but I use the XDaIIi which I think is the same model as yours, if so you need to get the beta version of WA2. I would suggest 2.0.1.17 beta, this is because it was designed to work with this generation of PPC/phones. There are other versions available but I,m not sure of their stability. I have tried the very latest and it kept losing my today screen shortcuts SPB etc..
Anyway hope this wasn't too long a ramble. WA is an excellent piece of software highly recommended.

I have it on my Imate Jam and it works fine. You have to use the latest version which can be found at Lakeridge Software Forums.

NEW Windows Messenger Live !

Seems like quite a few of you are interested on the new windows messenger live, so i decide to post the file here. This is still the beta version, but it's near complete and no major bug reported.
Once you install it, it will import all the contacts on your Messenger Live to your PDA contact, some people might not prefer this but there is no option to disable it so use it on your own risk.
Apart from that, this version is much much better than pocket MSN, it support far more function such as file transfer and icon...etc.
So enjoy !

Problem is i am out of my area only with my ppc. I have also somehow managed to use my athena for over a week with out rar support.
Pocket rar is impossible to find in .cab format
If anyone can post pocketrar.cab up here for me i would greatly appreciate it

Same problem here, only worked for 1 day, now just comes up with a small box saying "error"!! Can anyone help please?

Looks like mine has gone today as well...after entering name and password it just goes back to the today screen.
Damn.

Same errors here as well. Cannot log into Windows Live Messenger or Live Mail. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work.

Thanks a bunch for that link Boel****. That was the only one that worked on my Ameo and it works beautifully,....except for a bit of lag when running multiple apps. Not complaining though.

'Glad' to hear that, I'm not the only one. Bummer :-(

The cab file created by me only has the newest WLM version which can be found on some new WM6 roms... Nothing special. If its laggy blame MS LOL
Was the old one also laggy? Cause it kinda uses a lot of resources.

Hi guys,
perhaps I should have read this forum before deleting all my contactlist (msn accounts) in my outlook.
after a sync my msn live app refused to start up.
after deleting the msn live and a hard reset. I'd tried to reinstall it again, but this time I couldn't get trough the installation. It says installation failed. even after a hard reset!
Is it familiar to someone?
very strange that the problem remains even after a hard reset..

Runs perfectly fast on the WM6 ROM! I suppose the newer OS comes with better optimizations than WM5 AKU 3.5!

No sorry Mahmood. I'm running WM6 on HTC Universal, but have noticed a very big increase in speed since WM5. It is even faster than the Athena!! Everything is instantaneous.

MSN Messenger on Ameo! Where is it??

Hi i have just got the ameo and love it!!! Only thing is i cany find the MSN messenger on it?? Has it gone or am i being silly? But i have looked everywhere and the cd they give you to download a version does not have my Ameo software on it???? please help or tell me where to get the programme. thanks everyone!

You're quite right, it's missing on the Ameo.
However, you can download the newest and considerably better version for WM6 called Windows live Messenger. Works perfectly on the Ameo and is more akin to the PC version.
Do a search for it on this forum. It's in an older thread.

In order to start MSN messenger, go to Start>Program>Pocket MSN.
Once you have started Pocket MSN, you'll see MSN messenger as the first item for you to use. It's a great little tool. I've been using it a couple of years now, and does everything I want it to do

Skype Xperia Panel - need help

I'm living in UAE which the skype website is blocked and i try to download the Skype Xperia Panel but it's not working is their any way to do it work on my experia. i heard i can Chang the proxy in the experia but i don't know is it right or no? and if it's Ok can some one inform me how to do it?

i have the links for both the skype xperia panel and skype 3.0 but skype has completely dropped support for WinMo and although those apps MAY work for you, sometime this year it'll just stop working. here in the states skype has already stopped running completely on any of my phones where just 2 months ago they were working fine. either ways here are the links

i download the panal and instal but it's not working as messege tilling not for windows mobile and they send the link for instal the new but the website is not working in UAE as they blocked the site here.
i came to know i can change the proxy in my mobile and it'll work but i don't know is it right or no and even i don't know how to change it. if you know pls advise.

sorry, thats just the work of skype. they have totally dropped support for windows mobile. and to rub salt in the wounds they are suing 3rd party apps that bring skype to our WinMo like fring. again sorry, theres nothing else i can do

Skype for Windows Mobile IDEA

Hello guys, so all you know that Skype just stoped the WinMo version with is very very bad But i wonder few things.. so for example i have few versions of Skype and none of them work on my Touch HD they just don`t want to conect anymore.
But on the same time using 3rd party software like IM + or anything similar you can use Skype.. what i mean is that maybe they just make the Skype for WinMo to not conecting anymore somehow..
I think some advanced peoples from here can try to "Hack it" somehow and we still to be able to use the Skype.
I mean that when you trying to conect maybe the Skype identify you like WindowsMobile or anything and thats is the reason why you are not conected and i cannot understand why then clients like IM+ work without problem this mean that somehow we still can use SKYPE no matter from all.
1st Idea is the latest Skype 3 to be modified by the XDA advanced users if they can make it somehow to work or identify diferent way and we to be able to conect to the Skype server.. in this case we will still use the original SKype and have the same Skape Interface like befor and etc.
2nd Idea to be designed complate new Skype for WinMo like some users start the project XDA Facebook so if enought peoples want it and need it can be done something like XDA SKype for WinMo

Wow, I was gonna start a new thread with question similar to this!
Well, I'm using Skype almost perfect on Diamond, Touch Pro, and Rhodium, so that means the Skype networks are still giving support to us. BUT, as all of you now, the software support for WinMo 6.X is also discontinued, so we will not have more updates on this. Does that mean is "free software"? Because right now Skype gives Iphone users videocall support, and didn't give to us, when we were more users from 6.X then that iphone users at this point...Money rules I think.
Well, the purpose would be to hack last version, or build a new one with videocall support! Could it be that possible!?
