I have this cable that plugs into a 2.5mm jack and on the other end are RCA connectors for a TV. Does anyone know if the headset jack on the bottom of the WIZARD has video compatibility or if it does, do I need some program to route the video to the TV?
Any help would be appreciated.
No, I'm pretty sure that the jack is audio out/mic in only. Sorry.

Hello all~ can anybody teach me how I can use a 3.5mm mono or stereo microphone with my Atom to record?
I have tried the internal mic but the recording quality is not good.
I have also tried to use a convert adapter (a 3.5mm plug to 2.5mm jack for a mp3 player) but the mic didn't work.
Many thanks!
You have to option to take a orginal headset with a mic, get the cabel that goes to the mic part of it and solder on a own connection, but be warned that the impedans is probebly wrong so if you can record, its almost sertian that its at o very low volym.
sorry for the typos.
I've been reading a bunch of threads on adapters to convert the 11-pin port to miniUSB and 3.5mm audio out. There are the mini ones (like the one from sensons.com) and many on Ebay. So what happens to the Microphone when using these? Does the internal microphone still function?
There are also these: http://cgi.ebay.com/2in1-USB-Adapte...165910257QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200165910257 which have a built-in Microphone, but I heard quality is not the greatest.
I want to hook this into my car stereo with audio being pumped into the aux of my HU. A charger has already been wired in, but I'm worried about the microphone if I receive a phone call or want to make one? Feedback issues?
Code:
stereo out
/
{TILT}- external microphone
\
charger
----OR----
stereo out
/
{TILT}=(internal mic)
\
charger
Opinions, personal experiences?
Thanks,
Nelson
Well, I found a related thread, but it has no resolution.

Anyone?
I have an Audi A3, which has an AUX port to connect an MP3 player, so that it plays over the car radio/speakers. (FYI: The AUX port is wired into the CD changer of the Car radio).
I was wondering if a cable exists that can connect to the VARIO (tilt) into aux, so when the phone rings it plays through the speakers. Im hoping that the mic on the phone is good enough to pick up my voice which it sits in the cradle.
I could also use this link up to play mp3s on the tilt as well.
Get a 11-pin miniUSB male to 3.5mm male cable. Search on ebay or google.
you need something like this

fyi, if you just get a mini usb to 3.5mm plug, the mic on the phone will mute itself once you plug that 3.5mm adapter plug, so you can hear the caller but no matter how loud you scream, the other party won't be able to hear you.
I had the same idea before, tested it and it didn't work. That's why I had to order this adapter from ppctech.
Thanks for the replies, both are very helpful.
I'm not sure this is the right place or whether something like this has been done before...
I have a WM 6.5.3 device with a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack. It obviously accepts input through that jack and I was wondering if I could somehow connect my mp3 player to my phone using a male - male 3.5mm cable and an app that will play everything that comes through the mic input through the integrated phone speakers? I see that my headphones equipped with a mic have an extra contact, so I would probably just have to cut them open and splice a male 3.5mm connector onto the end that usually has the mic/earbuds.
Ive been pondering this and thought i'd post it here for your general feedback.
the plug for the hearphone/mic headset that comes with the device is a triple pole 3.5mm jack - same thing used by video camcorders into the phono adaptors.
On the back of my car stereo unit ive an Aux in which would be the red/white plugs of this cable for the audio feed. This is generally how i'd plug my phone in to listen to my music.
Now with the 3rd wite (yellow) i was thinking if i used a small PC Mic (3.5mm jack) and get a patch cable made to connect this to a male phono would this work? it'd also give me the ability to hear my phone throughthe car, and a lengthy cable i can hide and place a mic in the car leaving a simple 3.5mm jack to plug into
