Attached: IBM J9 Java (weme-wm50-arm-midp20_6.1.0.20060727-102926)
Packed as CAB (no need to copy files manually), with *.jad and *.jar associations.
Files:
install.pdf from IBM - how to install (not needed), how to use.
J9_full 6.1.0.20060727-102926.CAB - full installation - Java Virtual Machine, Midlet manager, Midlet runner, libraries. Size after install - 3.4Mb
J9_tiny 6.1.0.20060727-102926.CAB - simplified installation. Without Java Virtual Machine (probably you don't need), without debugging support (probably you don't need), without eastern languages support (sorry, they are too big for me). Only Midlet manager, Midlet runner, libraries. Installs automatically into main storage. Size after install - 2.3Mb
thanks for this. I had the WM2003 version and was annoying not being able to use the soft buttons in the Midlet Manager
ibm-weme-wm50-sp-arm-midp20-6.1.0
Is there any chance someone could also post the smartphone installer?
thanks man... that help me.
Just an FYI. I still can not see JPEG sattelite imagery in google maps. the wm2003 version let me but not this version or the built in intent java.

Did you install the full version?
I tried the tiny version first, then the full version and it didn't make a difference
Can you redo the cab so when we install it, we have choice to where we want to install it? I want ot install it into my storage card. Thanks!
Also, anyone having problems getting the shortcut parameters "-xjam:run=1" to work? I had it working w/ the older version of the Java. This automatically runs the first program in the menu, which makes it more convenient than having to manually choose it.
Thank-you
Yes thank-you that helped me too.
Hi
Sorry for my supid question but : what is the difference with this one and the midlet manager already installed on HTC devices ? Is it a version for developpers ?
Cheers.
Sorry. I was off line.

Probably - you will not see any differences. Me too
In my opinion: IBM Java for Linux is the best of the best. I believe that IBM knows everything about Java. I believe, that J9 is the best of the best too
But probably midlets are not too complicated to see any differences between Java Virtual Machines

J9 gave me nothing compared with Intent.
In fact, I find it panifully slow compared to the former one. For example, it takes almost 25 seconds for MGMaps to load a screen with J9, 8 to 10 seconds for Intent...

Media Hub?
And what about the Media Hub? It has - among other features - real equaliser for bass boost and treble.
Would anybody so kind to extract it from one of the new HTC devices' ROM?
As far as I know HTC Love and Athena have it in-built.
Thanks in advance!
cheers
Oh, I forgot a question:
What is AudioManager for? Would someone explain what that program does?
thanks

Please someone extract the media hub from the artemis roms (pdamobiz and others froms)
For ctibor: audiomanager gives you an ipod-like interface for the songs. This mean an interface where you can have yours songs by artist,album,....and a little and very simple player which permits to play the sound chosen.
AudioManager
This is not working at all on my P3300. It does not install properly and just sticks itself into the Windows folder on the device, despite telling it to install on the SD card! Looking at the XML, it does not look like a "proper" install package and there are no reg entries. When you start the program, all you get is a RC Load Failed message and a blank error box!
Lets hope that HTC include a "full" version of Media Hub on the WM6 upgrade ...

It is strange that you are the second person who say that.
We aren't looking for the audiomanager.
We want htc media hub (which audiobooster)
WE DON'T WANT AUDIOMANAGER BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY POST ON THE FORUM
Ok.On the archive i attach Audio Manager version 1.2 and a code page language.Once installed the program it needs to rename the file Windows\AudioManager.exe.0409.mui with the code appropriate of the rom lang.
Ex:My rom is ITA-->AudioManager.exe.0410.mui
Simple..

where can i download the latest version of .Net Compact Framework?
can anyone help me?
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385&DisplayLang=en
it doesnt work, i get a message that there is no application for it. first start the application. which application ??
The instructions are on the download page. Basically, establish an ActiveSync connection, and run the MSI (NETCFSetupv35.msi). The framework will then get installed on your device.

YES, WITH ENG. UI,
SIMP. TO TRAD. WITH EASE IN THE SETTING MENU...
Thanks 4 d reply
Tried it on HH3, kinda like it...
Setting is at the SIP Options menu...
But too bad it doesn't have the Screen Write mode, in which kinda pain when writing Traditional (in his case is Complex) one...
Think will still stick with HH3 with its Sumsung Hand Writing Input (typo in Samsung Panel About page)

Why NOT start a POLL???
Start a POLL by putting options available to you.that way,you can be helpful to yourself when cooking a rom...it will be a quick process and you wont waste much time...and its not cookers, its chef!!!and,if you want to start, start with a WM 6.1..this will ad to your cooking experience and establish you as a good chef...regards_shrey18

Release the ROM with HTC home first, which was released it on the WM 5 series...while you start decoding the Manila 2D...till then,u will get the reviews on the ROM u have cooked and till then, you can resolve issues with Manila 2D and release a FAR STABLE ROM.
If you want manila 1.0 you have to cook 2 manila packages only, but if you want manila 2.0 you have to cook these packages:
2D Manila v2.0.19191432.04
2D Manila v2.0.19191432.04 Default Skin
AGPS Confirmation v1.0.19183131.03
DRM Middleware v1.5.19142824.00
Google Location Service v1.0.1.12R1
GPS GMM v3.0.012.3
HTC Animation v1.3.5.0
HTC Framework v1.1.19183729.00
HTC Geo Service v1.0.19191120.00
HTC Scroll v2.0.19173130.00
Shared Modules v1.01.19143331.01
For this reason manila 1.0 is much lighter....
