I've tried several different .cab files for streaming video. When I click on m.youtube.com videos, the streaming media player does not work.
Has anyone got this to work? If so how?

I've been trying to stream a wmv that is streamed through rtsp protocol...as far as I know neither WMP10, tcpmp or gsplayer is able to play this; either they don't support wmv files or are unable to stream rtsp.
Does anyone know how to get around this? Is there a player out there that can stream RTSP streamed WMV files?
thx in advance!
anyone??
Desktop wmp 10/11 can stream rstp...I wonder why not mobile?
Hey guys, did a search and couldn't find anything, I am trying to play a video I recorded on my Hermes running WM6 on my computer, I get video, but no sound, anyone know what codec I need?
Try VLC media player
Presumably the video files are .MP4 from your Hermes??
Have a look at VLC media player - a freeware media player available for multiple platforms. Get it from HERE.
Post back if it works, then other users can benefit too
Cheers,
Mark.
The video plays fine on VLC as well as Windows Media player 11 and Media Player classic, but I get no sound.
I have searched all the threads and there are lots of folks that have problems or questions about moving video to their ppc, I want to do the opposite. I have taken some video and want to move it to the PC. When I do that via activesync the video will not play in medio player or quicktime. media player will play the audio not the video. Media player will not recognize the file on the ppc either.
How can I conver the video?

try playing it with vlc player link
half way there
The vlc player will show the video, but it does not pick up the audio. I also would like to get this into a format that could be shared easily, so I would still like to convert it.
if you want to convert then i suggest you try www.videohelp.com
Is there any flash player i can use to watch youtube videos, google videos, etc.?
tcpmp
or htc streaming media player
Searching will tell you exactly how to do it. It's not a wing specific thing, just WM6 in general.
Does anybody know how to setup our IE so that it will not trigger streaming media player, and load the flash video inside IE instead?
I know that even someone can did this, IE still cannot support youtube in desktop website (which is Flash 10 content). But, in some occasions, playing flash video directly in the broswer will be very handy.
Thanks
youtube in IE works fine here, embeded youtube vids too, I've never seen it open streaming video player for flv
