Hi,
Just got my LG Style-i from a new york supplier
and just wondered if anybody had any info on it
make the sound quality better over bluetooth....
make the sound louder etc....
Did you get a manual with it? If not look here.
The volume buttons are on the side, these adjust the ringing volume and the caller speaker volume.
The sound quality over bluetooth with me is fantastic as is...
Me too - had it for a few months and the sound is excellent!

Hi
I have searched but couldnt find anything before you ask
i was hoping there is an ap out there that can increase the volume of the sound that comes out of the ear piece.
Any one heard of anything?
thanks
Tim
digitaly sound have a surden number of bits often 16bit
mex volume would then be 32500 and -32500
if you inc the sound more then the bit resolution then it clip
and the loudest notes will just they as they are because you cant
really inc them more then they al ready are
when those sampled bits comes to the digital to analog converter which feed the headset they are made into a sound signal
so you cant really do it unless you convert all sounds on the fly and sounds which already use the full bit range would be cliped and sound horrible
my sugestions is made the sounds you require to be louder, louder on the pc and test the results to see if the sound gets a poor quality by the inc
or get a headset with an amp (those require batteries) and let them inc the volume of your signal
I am having a hard time understanding people when using the phone of my s200. Even my bluetooth headset (HS850) is louder then the phone itself (and this headset is not relly all that loud either).
So, I am wondering if there is a way to increase the volume at all?
I am having the same problem, I have tried the volume boost tweak in the forums but had no luck. today I listened to the Qtek 9100 quality and it was far superioir, and what I would expect from a mobile phone.
I am taking my S200 to the service center tommorow and complain.
Qtek 9100 also has stereo speakers the Prophet does not, I agree that the speaker output on the Prophet leaves a lot to be desired.
looks like that there is a hack for this:

Let's not forget one of the most important registry hacks(taken from the wizard forum): volume fix.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AUDIOGAIN
there are various settings here, the most important is the earphone_uplink_volume that alows finally to hear clearly during a call
If anyone could clear out what the other setting are for, I'd be gratefull.
And why is there three different audiogain keys?

Craic Dub
I could not get it to work as a lot of people
I am now on my second prophet (Qtek S200) and the phone quality is still very poor. I think I am going to have to swap it for a Qtek 9100 so that I can hear the person on the other end of the phone.
Its not just that the volume is low in the earpiece, the actual sound quality is bad, it almost sounds like the earpeice speaker cannot handle the sound input.
i have this problem too and i try change a earpiece from a nokia 6630 that is the same and the result is not good the sound in 6630 is good and the same earpiece in s200 is very low, what i can do to improve?
There was an article
about changing Prophets poor speaker with the motorola cell phone speaker ,that is very close in dimensions but much more durable and louder...
You may google it.
HTC Audio Booster
Found this on the site somewhere, don't know if it will help
I would like to know if there is a way to hack the registry to increase / boost the phone headset volume. Please note I am not talking about the "speakerphone" volume, I just find that when talking to someone on the phone headset it seems alot softer than the Wizard that I had before, even when the volume is set to max.
i would also like to know how to do this. i feel like my wizards ear piece volume was deafening.. but on the tytn its so incredibly low
I don't have a problem with the headset, but even on the highest volume setting the phone's earpiece speaker is a bit too quiet.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks.
Same hear, just to darn low at the highest volume setting. I see there are fixes for other HTC phones but nothing specific for this phone. Has anyone on this board managed to hack the registry and find an effective fix to increase the earpiece volume?
i'd love this as well - just bought one of these :
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=138247
and the volume level is VERY disappointing. my wizard used to have an acceptable volume level but i can't imagine being able to hear music on my tytn with traffic around. :-(
How's the speakerphone sound on the HD? Are calls clear and distortion free? On both ends of the conversation? Is the volume high enough?
Thanks!
Hi
Sound call quality is good, but not perfect, calls are very stable, and clear (huge antena), You can manualy set call volume level or set call to main loud speaker
Yeah calls are generally good quality and loud. The only problem is the loudspeaker is not very good-quite distorted
Damn, I was fearing that. With my old XDA Neo I was never satisfied with its speakerphone quality also. The sound quality of ordinary cell phones is always superior. But how's Xperia, it's SE (I know it's HTC)
Hi all,
as I dont like the sound quality of the htc headset that came with the jade I bought an adapter mini-usb to 3.5mm to fit my in-hear sony headset.
Now I have a problem that at the minimum volume level the person on the other side of the line during a call is actually still quite loud and I can not find any way to set the lowest value lower!
While listening to music now is excellent, as with windows media player I can decrease the volume as much as I want, I can not do the same with phone calls!
I looked into registry tweaks but they didnt do the job.
Anybody had the same issue...?
Thanks for any help
Get some earphones with a built in volume control.

So. it's about the person at the receiving end hearing it loud, not you. What you can control is the volume of your earpiece, not the other end. You cannot control the speaker unit. So you have to speak more softly or put the mic a little bit further away.
