yes, my Wizard (T-Mobile Vario) is for sale on ebay. Unlocked and upgraded to WM6, it is in excellent condition - great pda phone.
If you don't want to splash out on a WM6 device (Touch / TyTN II), this could be the answer: a great price and all WM6 features..!

im new here and don't own an xda ii yet. a friend of mine will purchase one for me from O2 UK and have it unlocked so that i can use it at home (philippines). the question is - will there be any problems with this in terms of OS/ROM, software or usage.
what will be the advantages if i'll purchase one which is sim-free - say from singapore.

No, there will be no problem at all with upgrades.
Just buy the cheapest you can find.
All the other info you need to unlock, do ROM upgrades etc, you can find on this forum.

I just noticed that the MDA/Wizard is no longer on the T-Mobile website. All they have is the SDA and Dash! I like the touch screen and true PDA style of the MDA. Has anyone tried a similar, and unlocked PDA style phone with T-Mobile?
There is a new version of the MDA shipping in the US "real soon now(tm)."
That is why the existing MDA was dropped.
its called the htc atlas aka tmobile wing.. comes out in 3 weeks.

HELLO!!! I'm about to buy a new PPC so I need an advice! Which one? Is the winner T-mobile MDA or T-mobile Wing? Some say Wing is too slow? Is that truth because they have almost the same hardware (OMAP850...)? Please HELP!!!

well, the time has come to say goodbye to my trusty old workhorse (i'm upgrading to a TyTn II).
it has served me really well and has been looked after!
a t-mobile MDA Pro (unlocked of course!), with a 4GB SD card.
I can install whatever ROM you want on her.
i have the original packing etc. so it would arrive in good condition.
i was looking for approx. 300 euros.
(of course....please feel free to make me an offer!)
