it's basically made for AT&T tilt (8925) = Kaiser

I'm not sure if this was posted here before..so forgive me if it was...
cheers

Thanks.. don't think it was posted before

Is this different from the one posted in this thread? Does it work with any WM 6 device?

This is indeed a different version than the posted above. The above one has just been released by HTC for to use with the Kaiser. I've tried to use it with Universal and it didn't work. Hopefully someone will come up with a hack for it to be used with other devices as well.

Connect to Company BB server?
Does anyone know if this will allow me to connect my Mogul to my company's BB server? Do I need any other services from Sprint other than an ulimited data plan?

T-Mobile USA Email Triggers on WM5

Has anyone gotten the T-Mobile USA Email Triggers software to work correctly on Windows Mobile 5? I'm talking about the software that came with the iPAQ phone they've got.
It runs on my old imate JAM, but I'm wondering if anyone got it to work on Windows Mobile 5. I installed it on a Himalaya running the WM5 beta, and the email triggers do seem to initiate a send/recieve, but then no new email messages are downloaded. I wonder if that's a bug in WM5 beta or what. Can anyone confirm that it works correctly on the latest WM5?
Yes I have it working!
Yes I have it working but have not made a cab installer for it yet. I will put one together for you and post it later today. Do you want the IM programs too?

I have the version that was posted here:
http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=45599&highlight=email+triggers
And that's the one that seems to have issues on the Himalaya WM5 beta. I have pre-ordered the HTC Wizard, so I was wondering if anyone got it working on a "Real" WM5 Pocket PC phone (as it appears you did!)
So yeah, if your version is better/newer than the one above, I'd love to try it. I don't think I really need the IM SMS programs, but maybe others would? Thanks!

SPB GPRS Monitor not working

I am using SPB GPRS monitor http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/gprsmonitor/?en to monitor my data connection however it seems it does not monitor the connection at all. Is anybody else using it succesfully or can you recommend one that works with the herald?
Well it's on my CD with my Herald, maybe it's a special version?
You should try the version that was shipped with your device. Official GPRS Monitor didn't work with my Herald either.
how stupid of me, i didnt realise it was even on the cd! will give it a go now...
tried that, works perfectly. Thanks
SPB GPRS Monitor not working on P4350
Hi,I just saw this thread. Bought a P4350 (Vodafone) last Saturday but CD does not contain SPB GPRS Monitor. I have a license for the standard version which I bought a few years ago for an iPaq. It doesn't work, as mentioned above. Vodafone nor HTC can help me, although Vodafone's user manual states: "Install it from the CD"....
Does anyone know how to get this special version?..
Thanks!

With permission from one of the mods i can upload here for you if you like?
SPB GPRS Monitor on HTC P4350
s4vva, I would very much appreciate that!
I hope the mod(s) will allow it. Here's why I'm convinced I'd be using it legally:
1. I contacted the Vodafone Citypoint (shop) where I bought the unit. They agree with me (it's in the manual etc.). They guess it's an unintentional omission and they don't have it.
2. I contacted data support at Vodafone NL (my mobtelco). They said that SPB GPRS Monitor should be on the CD but "somehow it isn't" and they don't have it so they can't send it.
3. As said before, I legally purchased a (version 2) license for an iPaq that I no longer use (3870 with GPRS sleeve) a few years ago. As mentioned elsewhere that version doesn't work on the P4350.
I guess uploading/posting would not be legal since not everyone (-member) would be entitled to use it, maybe you could send to my email (alias) rdf1<at>wxs.nl.
Thanks again for your willingness to help!

SPB GPRS Monitor has never really worked properly for me on my HTC P3300 so i use this instead - LINK
It turns out that HTC's special version of Spb GPRS Monitor won't work or even install on Dutch Vodafone P4350's. Probably explains why it's not included...
BTW None of the other GPRS monitor utilities I've tried (looked all over the Internet) works on my Dutch Vodafone P4350. Guess I'll have to wait for ROM upgrade

win mobile 6 on herald?

many roms of wm6 are around on known sites for specific models.is anything for our herald too?ive read that there is going to be an official update to wm6 of this model so there must be something around, even beta.
Mhhm, i couldnĀ“t find anything by now....
Lets wait a little, i think HTC is going to release something for us, soon
No one cooking any roms for the Herald tho?
doesn't look like it, i looked into porting one of the wizard roms but i didnt get very far! its definately possible to flash your own roms though. Also its worth remembering that HTC have promised us wm6 roms before June. I would much rather have that than a pre-release wm6 rom as the ones that are avaliable for the wizard, hermes etc.
As far as i know, everyone is content with AKU 3.2

well i have used crossbow on my wizard and the only difference i see are pretty icons and html mail. i dont really care about either, and more importantly my herald is very stable, cant remember the last time i had to soft reset never mind hard reset. so thats why i can wait until htc do their thang!
I hear one handed uses on WM6 is way better and that windows update feature looks very promissing.
O2 may be releasing an HTC Herald as O2 XDA Terra, with WM6 on it.

HTC Herald (aka Tmo Wing)
I bought a T-Mobile Wing 2 days ago (obviously it has WM6 on it) Where-as it is stable - I am rather disappointed that they removed the native VoIP support - thus I am waiting for someone to cook a ROM and put it back in so I can do the Hybrid Cell/VoIP thing that I was Previously doing on my Wizard (MDA) - I still have my Wizard which I use strictly for VoIP at home.

i use the one in the attachment works fine for me...
I have a question that I hope someone has the answer for. I have been using this app ever since it was leaked months ago with my Touch Pro on allel, I ordered my Imagio this morning and they told me that I would not be able to keep my $10 per month tethering plan because it would not work on a Verizon plan. The question I have is that if I use this App, will they be able to tell that I even tether, because I do not have tethering on my wifes Treo Pro and she will use her phone through the internet sharing app that is installed by default and Alltel was never able to tell. If anyone has any ideas that will be great because I do not use the tethering enough to justify paying $30 per month.
I was looking for the USB to PC pop up with internet sharing on the list. However the wifi sharing works great on my phone as well.
Like this picture but WVGA:

Ohh I have that cab on my pc somewhere I downloaded it with a pack for the JD's Clean ROMS for my Touch Pro. you should be able to download it from the thread. It was called "Touchpro extensions for JD's Clean ROM"
I am not positive if it is VGA specific or if it will work on any Resolution.

Really???
I myself are still doubt. about 4 hours ago, i managed to get my hand on a BB app suite cab. tried to install on my elfin, and it said something like "oem is not supported 'htc-elf'". while at that momment, i'm using the official rom from the htc site. out on curiosity i tried the 'setmodelID.exe' method i read on touch hd2. still having the same error message.
flashed my elfin with athar's, repeat the step, same. but i do manage to have the bb connect up and running on both roms.
IMHO, if somehow we can decieve the cab that our device is not elf, perhaps it would install. running the app suite is another thing.
i was actually just want the BBM thing. but i have no clue on what should i do next. hope someone here can port the suite to work on elf. it should be good. or atleast only the BBM. ^_^
anyway i'm using the ce-rom now. was liking it until i realized 'IT HAS NO OTHER Input Method other than qwerty keyboard.' can someone kindly enough to point me how to put the defaults input method like the original rom from htc?
thanks. i know i didn't help alot. sorry bout that
No you can't have BB OS, but you can have a half-decent version of Android working on the Elf/Elfin.
