i recived my unlock file from imie check and when i try to unlock phone lick

he could probably share it. but you can also download it from their homepage.
BUT you need a valid unlock code. and you will only recieve it after you paid for it......

actually, you need a valid unl (unlock) file..
Why not just call T-Mobile and have them send you the unlock code for free?

Hello.
I've been given a second hand XDA and its locked to o2 but where I live you can't get much of a signal, and if I want to use all of its surfing abilities they say I have to take up a contract. This is not what I want to do. I want to unlock the thing, but I'm not sure how to. I read the download thing on here but I'm a bit nervous about trying it out.
Is a serial cable the same as my active sync cable?
My radio version isn't on your list? Its 4.08.
Would Vodafones mobile connect for the pocket pc work on my XDA?

not sure if "Vodafones mobile connect" is some program or what
if it's gprs settings then yes settings work on all cellphones be they nokia or wallaby it's not phone related
if it's just suing vodofone then again yes a gsm phone is a gsm phone
about if an activesync cable == a seriel cable then that depend on your activesync cable if it have a connector like this

If that is all I can do, it looks like I'm stuck with an XDA I can't use online as I don't live anywhere near anyone who could unlock it for me.
Last night I finally plucked up the courage to try the xda-developers special edition rom - and it worked. My phone is no longer locked to o2, now I just have to work out the setting for vodafone.

Can anyone help
The Jamin is working perfectly with WM6.1 other than the keypad for the phone won't recognise numbers pressed for computerised calls centres' ie when you are asked to say press 1 for service department or press 2 for accounts department.
anyone got any ideas for me...

选择emergency call，进入拨号盘，输入##3424，然后安装htc_diag_driver。

打开CDMAworkshop，设置好对应端口，然后点connect连接手机，点read读取手机信息，

Power Unlock:
Select emergency call, enter the dial, enter # # 3424, and then install htc_diag_driver.
See the port number assigned on your computer, remember this number.
Open CDMAworkshop, set up the corresponding port, then connect to connect mobile phones, point read read phone information
Point security label, that one where the SPC input 000 000, Point SPC button, select send.
SPC lock is removed! !
So just to be sure, if I buy a locked Incredible, and punch in these codes, I can use it with any simcard?

No. The Incredible does not use removable SIM cards. That is primarily a GSM thing, and although some CDMA standards support them, they are not commonly seen in the US.
I am not sure what you could actually accomplish with this unlock. Perhaps getting the phone onto another CDMA carrier that will take practically any phone like Cricket?

dude i dont know if its intalled or not..coz i dnt see it installed in my phone..
btw what custom rom are you using dude?.is ur phone htc hd2?..
im stuck in that full install cycle..
this is normal to see and when is done you see if process successful or not... but if this step is too long maybe your SDcard is too slow...
use WP Bench application from Marketplace to test SDcard speed... Asphalt 5 is huge app and need few minutes on my device (my SDcard speed is around 8 MB/s)
dude i follow what you said earlier..but my problem now is marketplace is asking me a WINDOWS LIVE ID ACTIVATION CODE, so that i cant download the application you said to me, the WP bench app...sorry for asking many questions im a totally beginner. I do not intend to be more difficult in this, actually flashing android roms is easier than this.
you need Live activation code because HD2 not original WP7 device... you must ask Microsoft for Live activation code for HTC HD7.... call Microsoft support if aviable in your country or use english chat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31387164&postcount=2
