Are you for real? Why would you want that fugly theme back? hehe. Sorry that wasn't very helpful. Try searching the wiki for a dump file of the WM5 Ameo ROM and maybe you can extract it from there if no one else comes forward with it before then.

Humm, Perhaps so T-Mobile can look/fix it if it has problems. Its better if the SW atleast looks like the Orig. ROM.. (as most local stores have non-techie service people)

Anyone else test this out on wm6?
for some reason it isnt changing my bar colors, just the today wallpaper only, but the logo and everything is fine, I dunno why this goob is chimin in out of nowhere to say the theme is unattractive.
The thumbnail is of wm6 I see though, and I can fix thee base hue, Im just wondering.

If you are asking will your phone scream ATT or Cingular, NO it will not. Will the Hermes ROMS install and work much better on the 8525 than the shipped ROM, YES it will! You will need the keyboard install cab to get the key mappings correct though.
Yes, you'll need the Cingular Keyboard cab though... do a search or it's likely on the wiki

Can you suggest a working rom for the cingular 8525? maybe even the sliding keyboard?

ROMS are really dependant on the user and the programs that they are using.
If you want an official cingular rom, look for the ones with Cingular as the retailer. the benefit of these is all your data, mms settings and such are all done for you, the bad is they are loaded with all sorts of crap and are slow. If you want something a little different then take a look around from one of our cooked roms, each has its own falvors and options you are just gonna have to read and stop being so demanding.

I don't quite understand the "debrand" problem you were moaning about. Just go to settings->today and choose another theme other than orange and you are almost there. Install the original HTC dialer(there are plenty cabs floating about if you care enough to do a little search) and that's me all sorted.

i just tried at least 3 times. As i told u one month ago i debranded my italian phone with the same trick. Worked perfectly, but the orange i think its different...

I only tried with TMN (Portugal) because that's the Operator my Dual is in. Apparently it works with Vodafone in other countries.
Maybe Orange has a different system.
But if you change ROM all that will go away =] just try to live with it for a few more days.

Ever tried Yahoo Finances or Google?
Google does it pretty well, but if you prefer using a software (to convert currencies without connecting to Internet each time), MSSConverter can handle it. But it is not finger friendly at all...

Many countries are missing, beside it does't let to change other refernce beside Romenia England and Hungary...
1-Calc has a currency convertor built-in.
NVM...doesn't seem to update.....
Correction again... it does update via wifi

The title says it all. I got an Italian Shift off of 1daysteals. I've got it liberated, and will probably do the HardSPLL tonight. Would really like to change the WM6 side into English.
So, with that, does anyone have any ROM's they could share with me? Also looking for BIOS's and it looks like there was some radio dumps out there as well. Also in that vein, I was going to try and do a dump of the device before I do any more hardcore hacking on it. How difficult is that?
