For us SX66 users: will the builtin camera support give us trouble? How can we disable it?
WMP is worthless to me as I use Coreplayer. Is there any way to delete it from the ROM?

Switching/sliding between e-mail/sms accounts fixed
Phototab now opens album correctly, you can now slide and zoom. Video works aswell.
Locking issues is fixed
VolumeControl fixed
Resuming from suspend should be fixed (I never had that issue, so I can only hope)
Camera dont have autofocus, it has flickeradjustment (Im very happy with this camera)

The rom is based on the official released for polaris, and I have been trying a few builds with this rom, and it is quite allright to me.
But who knows, perhaps a new build in the final

I remember someone in the development section saying flashlite3 would only work with 20000+ builds.

why cant i have a polaris

i hope that for some reason you would do a final rom for herald
we're loosing cooks, ya know?
I just though you guys might wanna test a rom cooked with manila 3d -v2

I have been checking your profile page and saw you creating a new thread, i was hoping it was the new Opal Beta but this is just as good, im downloading right now.

The on/off bug is not fixed, because that has to be done by the 3d drivers getting an update.

1- did the response increasing more than what I do as a normal user by adding Manila 3D to Touch-it 3.6 by inslaling the cab
2- can I base on this rom for my business day work for calling and answering phone without freezing , as I know the Manila 3D still beta

2: I dont know yet If you do as I have described regarding power, you should be fine, but then battery will drain quicker.
But then you can also disable touchflo 3d, and things should work normal.

because when i use mtoday and goes from 1 day to another it turns all apps off.

Personally i cant see myself using it when Manila 2D is available. Even when its bug free. It has much larger memory, cpu and battery requirements and all you get are a few extra animations and menus.
2D is just as pretty, the only thing i really like is the "people" tab in 3D. This isnt in the video though, i didnt add anyone to my favs..

I'm proud to release my initial Beta of a German WM6.5 for our Polaris!
This is my first attempt to cook a Rom so if you love your Rom, don't use mine
For sure there are still many bugs and half translated apps, but I appologize for it.
I will correct it in further releases.
My Rom is based on gullums Kitchen with WWE 6.5, so I think it will not brick our device.
I only tested it by myself, so I can not guarantee for others.
It is really very BETA.

Hmm, no offense, I appreciate your efforts, but IMO it doesn't make too much
sense to release a language mixed up ROM before getting it fully translated.

I think it is better to show, that someone is interested in releasing ROMs for the Polaris.
There are not many Devs left that release ROMs for our Device...
Android is nearby finished...
And all the others base on the same kitchen and build.
I am new in customizing ROMs, so all the beginning is difficult, and I want to do my best. Even there are 6.5 ROMs in German for nearby all the other devices, except our Polaris. And that's (Polaris) not as bad as it seems.
By the way,... I love your ROMs, I've tested every since Oct.2008.
Thank you for your great work, especially in releasing ROMs in my native language.
If you like to help me, it would be a great homor for me to get support by someone who really knows what he does.

Hi, I think that's right. I'm interested in learning how to develop ROMs with WM6.5 with the "new" Kitchen from Ervius/Bepe. In the past I developed some ROMs based on the old Polaris-Kitchen with WM 6.1. Cause I still have a good ROM based on WM6.1 I stopped developing new versions until now. Perhaps with WM6.5 I will restart developing. First I have to learn how to dump and how to build ROMs with the new kitchen stuff. Then the next step would be porting WM6.5 to language 0407 and then add some applications, Reg-Hacks etc.
You all know that's a long way for a lonesome cowboy. If there are many developers sharing knowledge it would be much easier.

Every Cocker,**** a new Rom. I think, it´s the best, you translate a good WWE Rom for the first.
The Polaris is old and my pda goes to my wife when HTC HD2 is in the shop. And the last WM 6.1 Rom´s are realy good,fast and stable.
But when you **** a verygood WM6.5 German Rom for Polaris, you are TOP

But I'm working on it with an other User from here.
Additional the ROM needs a bunch of graphical costomization...

Home Weather works because of Mortscript, it's still a bug of Manila.
In the case of the Theme, we will release one or two alternative CABs of Manila Skins to better fit for the girls !
Release is near, eventually at the end of the next week.

FAQs - HELP QUESTIONS:
IE shows error screen but on pressing cancel you can use it normally - this is because a package is missing in the original build. I am happy to add it but looking at the number of XDA users who use IE, I din't re-cook it. Opera works faster and better.
I removed MMApplauncher, can't access start menu now - You won't be able to because mmapplauncher has been installed INSTEAD OF start menu. This ROM does not have WINMO startmenu so please don't remove mmapplauncher. The reason is removal of start menu saves valuable 15-20mb RAM that makes this rom faster even with multitasking.
Finger Keyboard - It shows error or I don't like it or it's rubbish etc etc - Please install another keyboard that is available in the forum. The reason I haven't cooked in a keyboard is solely because it's a very very personal choice that change from user to user and if you don't like your keyboard, you will hate your phone!
Linux/Ubuntu users can't active sync - Yes, reason being .exe files are not support in Linux and hence you can only install programs in VirtualBox - however, I have removed few packages to save 5-7mb of storage in the ROM as Linux based users are in minor numbers. On Linux you will still be able to activate this phone as 'mass storage device' and will be able to add or remove files, photos, music etc from the memory card. Only thing not possible is - ActiveSync program installations on Linux.
If any of the above answer does not satisfy your hunger for your choice of ROM, please PM me and I will cook the ROM as you want!

I think there is a bug with that part of the rom - I will re-flash and check on mine if you have issues with 'data connections'

I can connect to my computer without any problems, it all sync's well,
one problem i have found is that when the phone times out to a blank screen and i press the power button to bring it back nothing happens, i tried holding the power button for a few seconds and i get the slide to unlock screen, should it be this slow are can i tweak it at all,
apart from this i am loving this rom and i have tried a lot of roms over the last year,
keep up the good work daddyredmond

I uninstalled some cabs i put in and the problem has gone, i think the cab's speedbooster_ppc_2.0.020, HTC TouchFLO 3D, HTC Equalizer 1.0.2, Flash7, flxmail4, TG01 Solutions, could be a problem for me, these were the cabs i unonstalled and after a soft reset all worked well,
i noticed that the spd shell had a fifteen day limit so i installed the copy i have,
i tried to upload it but the file is 10.8mb in size, any help?

He has taught me a lot for rom cooking but I cannot be as quick as the rom machine

Only one concern though, DruROM3 - is clean without SPB Shell - DruROM1 has Shell in it - have you by any chance flashed DruROM1 and are posting in wrong thread? :s
If you have got DruROM1 with SPB Shell pre-installed - you will love DruROM3 without SPB Shell.. The SPB shell being a paid software, I obviously can't cook the full version or share the key to it -and hence only 15 day trial version. If you have a key, you could make it full software by registering it without having to install your SPB.
Also, what exactly are you trying to upload? You could use Rapidshare for it if you like.

thanks for your reply, i am using the DruROM1 so sorry for posting on the wrong thread, my mistake, there were a few threads with your name to them and i picked the wrong one ,
anyway i was trying to upload the spb shell i was using, i can not remember now were i got it from but it does not need registering you just install it and away you go, i think i downloaded it from this site somewhere,
i have never uploaded before so i am unsure of the process but will look into it,
again a great rom i have Igo8 working, and WOW HD SRS for improved sound ac3 codex, and i am very happy with it thank you very much,

Ps: About SPB - I think your one might fall into category of 'pirated/cracked' SPB Shell - I don't think it's a good idea to share any such stuff on XDA! It is against the forum rules I think

I´m running it with SPB MS and Mskip wp7 theme in german and a dual sim card, no problems.
Only bug I found is apps like Bubble level can´t find a sensor. Sensor itself can be calibrated, but other applications cannot find a signal.

I am glad that you are loving the rom
Sorry about that bug! Can you please check if in SPB you are able to see Carousal panels move when you activate G-sensor? If you are able to activate G-sensor on SPB, then most likely is the app you are using. Meanwhile, I will try to get my hands on Bubble level and see if there is a fixable bug in rom Hope everything else is fine with the ROM.

I have cooked new HTCSenserSDK in all my roms as well That's why was wondering what might stop this game detecting the sensor :s

this morning I was unable to start the phone ( the dialer, I mean). When I hit the phone icon in programs, it tried to start, but it didn´t
showed up. After several resets without changing anything, I flashed the original rom. I installed the same programs as before (SPB MS, WP7 skin, ACR, Phonelog, AEButtons) and now it works.
Come back to your rom later, thank you anyway, great work !!!!!
