ne0c0de should be back and still a member of the forum! "Everybody gets mistake in life". We should welcome him back!
ne0c0de has just given some links to B.A users in order to solve the desire of upgrading their Pocket PC, do some tests... Do we still remember the I-Phone event? huh?
However, according to Helmi, until 31 August 2007. He promised to upload the new B.A Rom WM06. He and his accompanies had tried so hard to get achivement.
In Vietnam, it's 17:06 PM of 31 August 2007 (GMT+7). No news from Helmi about the ROM but I still wait...and it's waste of time to have arguements...
Just wait and wait...

The only who can publish ROM is Helmi, we must respect its job

don't know about you guys but if i were in helmi's shoes i would have been extremly furious, like said before releasing the files before the owner even annouces it is really selfish and annoying which won't impress anyone.
but again like any super software sometimes the leak does get to it.
i haven't downloaded the files, and will not download it until an official annoucement from helmi is done.
helmi your anger is understandable, but please do not bail on us please, just look at it this way, there's always a rotten egg in the basket.
P.S. GREAT WORK HELMI, hope to c more upcomming updates

I just buy my new lovely toy XDA IIs and looking for my upgrade WM5 and i coldn`t believe when i found here some AMAZING guy HELMI_C made new WM6 and its going on tomorow. I forget WM5 and start to be really axcited for new Rom WM6. Start to reading how to do it and go truu all forum about BA - took a while ))
I get up and my first way , guess what! Turn my PC and start reading whats new and now i still got wait 1 1/2 hour but ill wait for ur ROOM cous i know u deserve that.(and dont believe anyone alse couse i know as have read here ur room ar the best) I know how hard it is i can really imagine ur feelings. All i want to say PLS don`t turn back to AS and PLS continue ur AMAZING work with BA. Thousends people will still appreciated YOR great job u did and hopefully u will still do.

I know dude! I've been extremely busy..
graduating this Saturday ... and I took an overload of classes, I even had to get approval from the Dean in order to take that many ... so the past month has been rough!! My last final exam is tomorrow ... then Saturday I graduate!
My hat is off to :

Aserg - great contributions
Papamopps - who is THE LAW, and keeps us in line.
and everyone else at XDA. Without you guys, this place would be nothing. When you check out any other PPC forum, they all suck.

I thought my wing was cool when i took it out of the box. two hours later i wanted to get my money back. I stumbled into this forum from a google search. I believe "We are wating where is new projects about it build. somebody work" can be read as "Is somebody working on a project with 23034?".
I really don't see where the word "now" is used or even implied.
Sometimes people just aren't fluent with English and are trying their best. It is hard enough to speak or write in a new language as it is, let alone take note of all the formalities.

The new rom is good. but, I hope it is stable and fast.
also the language part is very important to me..... because I am from Taiwan....

yea, i think the guy just had a hard time communicating. still there are others that do seem to ask and complain all the time. that's just not cool.

Now I have your attention, well only some of you.
I hate to write this but its getting beyond a joke these days. Every "chef" out to make a $ by releasing their "customised" work of original HTC roms, you get some crazy satisfaction about your ROM's being on others devices. Those base ROM's should be freely available to ALL users, not locked away and not being released straight away to make sure you have the "edge". Sure you have contacts in HTC that give you the ROM's before anyone else, ****, who cares. It will get out one way or another, why not publicly post it for everyone to get access to it? You all know who you are and its pathetic, I'm sure most of you have real jobs out there and if you don't, jesus, get one.
Sure "chefs" might modify some DLL's to get "better" performance but even then, its not your IP, its HTC's/Microsoft etc etc.
At the end of the day, we're all a community who support each other, so why bite the hand that feeds you?

Without commenting on your remarks, I'd be more interested to hear from someone what is new in 1.66 and 2.06, how they relate to each other comment what the differences are.

That's the thing, if it was public like it should be, everyone else would know. But it has mainly updated apps (Compass, Album, Camera etc etc), but still requires the SMS Fix.

I really don't think there's a need for such accusations and hostility. The last time this happened (over the whole Rhodium/Topaz leak fiasco) it ended with a lot of bad blood and several good chefs refusing to cook for the xda community anymore!
There are already several cooks working with the new 1.66 base. Have you personaly been denied access to the sources?
Please lets not see a repeat of last years silliness. It was not good for this great community.

I don't care who has it, and all this bad blood is pathetic, children crying over spilt milk.
And being denied to private information, no, but I don't care, I'm voicing my public opinion about it.
And if one goes, I'm sure 20 more will step up to the plate. They're more then welcome to go off and try and create another xda, good luck to them, many have tried and failed.

Sorry but I don't understand why you're so angry? Yes it's a community and I can see several major contributors to that very same community working with 1.66 right now, for our benefit.
Are you annoyed that the stock rom hasn't been posted for all and sundry yet?

I'm simply saying that this has happened before, hermes days, where certain people like to hold things back from the community. All it takes is to post a single link to the source.

Honestly mate, I wouldn't stress. It appears the 1.66 build has just been leaked today and I'm willing to bet that before you know it a stock rom will be available to all. You can't blame those that got hold of it first trying to integrate it quickly into their roms. Flashing has become quite the sport these days Have you tried asked any of the cooks using it, what their source is?

1.66 has been available since the 8th of Jan, and certain people have had it since then. Now I'm not naming names, I just find it pathetic they don't release it.
No I don't blame them for trying to get there first, but its not a race here people, its a community place where we're supposed to help the community.

Whilst I agree with some of the points there is no need for this thread, you should be greatful that what you get doesnt actually cost a cent and believe me if a chef was to live off donations they'd all be dead by now Show a little respect!

Show a little respect?? Excuse me dude, we don't force you to waste your time cooking and modifying.
And if such ROM's were requiring to be paid for, you'd be in breach of copyright law so fast, your little show would be over.

Really? I didn't know it had been on the scene that long.... BASTARDS! lol But seriously, I'm sure it's not being held back for any malicious reasons and today is the first time I've seen it used as a cooking base, at least on the Leo. have you asked any of the cooks about the source?

Not really no, but it doesn't bother me where their source is, just annoyed they haven't shared the "fruit" with the rest of the community, I'm trying to make it more transparent here. The more people with access to it the better!

Well I understand the OP frustration but I usually just try to ignore it. There has been some of this going on in the recent past where someone gets a build and they share it only with about 4 certain other people with instructions not to share to anyone else. All the while these four or five people release ROM's with the new build while everyone else has to wait. I can't blame the guys it is given to as I'm sure they are glad to be getting it. The point is it makes it look really privatizing that the same 4-5 people always have the new stuff before others.
But as always it will surface before too long. But it may take a week as the others have not released their ROM with it yet.

Anyway, the meaning I give to your post is "ok cool everyone's wasting time on big projects like android on leo, but how comes I can't get a stable system even if I run the basic applications?"
If what I understood is correct, then yes, do some reading in the stickies of the Rom Develpment forum to learn the theory, and flash a custom rom.
