My damn phone for what ever reason is saying ive got an unread msg and i have deleted all my inbox msgs and its still saying one unread msg is there...

I´d the same problem. It was solved when I deleted the emailaccount and set it up once again.

aweright here's another problem ov mine, so Please HELP!
it seems that every Text SMS that i send, my JAM resends it again ONCE or TWICE without my knowledge. My "SENT MESSAGES" folder only shows one SMS being sent, but the other mobile receives my message more than Once. and this has been happening for quite some time now, until one ov my friend asked me why i keep sending him same message again and again.
We are both on the same Network, and its not a NETWORK problem!..
Anybody knows what could be the problem, maybe its the settings that have all been messed up or something.

Hi, I am having this problem with one unread SMS when in fact there are no messages in my in box. It's kinda annoying because even after I deleted all my messages, all 95 of them, it still keeps me showing I still have one unread SMS. Any suggestions please. Don't want to reset my device just because of one unread message which I can't see.

Thanks a lot for yer help helterskelter. And sorry for duplicating a thread. A lil' heads up the utility will set the count straight only with the messaging application closed. I ran it the first time with the messages open and the phantom message(now I know what it's called) was still showing.
The weirdest thing just happened to me!
I have 1 unread sms ... the thing is, I can't find it! Already deleted all my messages from the device and made a soft-reset, but I still get the 1 unread sms count!
Another bug is when I receive a message (happened more than once), the mobile vibrates until I soft-reset it or I get a new sms ...
Has this happened to anyone else? Any fix?

I have the same problem with live messenger (althought it's probably just the notification system) when it's ni sleep and I receive a msg.
It goed tadinggggggggggggggggg en just then keeps doing it until I get it out of sleep. doesn't happen always though.

Hello, I had the same problem with mine. Go to this link, download the .zip file, it is an .exe file so copy it to your SD card, run it and do a soft reset. You should be good to go! Hope this helps...

some how, yesterday when i restarted my BA suddenly in my sms inbox appears '1 unread msgs', i've searched it in my inbox but all of them are already read sms, i've also tried to delete all the message but still the notification still there.... anyone in this forum can help me? thx b4
i have never encountered this error personally but i think i have seen similar posts as your over the board, search about sms notification bug or something like this, i am sure that there was a cure for it
Hi, I remember a while ago someone posted a fix for the problem whereby multiple sms messages are not sent in TF3D when no response has been received from the recipient (by which i mean, I cant send two messages to the same recipient through the conversation view, without first getting a reply to my previous sms). I just get the error telling me that my message cannot be sent.
I have had a quick search, but i'm struggling to find the solution here. Can anyone remind me how to get around this please?

hey i didnt want to make a thread so il just post my sms problem here as well..
During replying back on a sms i recieve multiple sms from the same person which is fine. My sms setting is set to thread and not classic. My problem is this; everytime i open a sms or reply the sms theres many other messages that arent mark as read in the same thread. it gets annoying after a while cause i have to click on each one then click on the text box below and reclick on the sms continously to mark them as read. if this is not done the green led notification will not clear until i read everything. led is not the problem that im having it works great and i like to be notified. the problem are these annoying unread sms that show while sms thread is open. am i making any sence?
i havent fish through the registry yet hoping someone had fixed this glitch.

answer here...I havent been texting so I havent had time to test it out. Back ur cell up using sprite backup etc before applying changes. Only downside after making the change I notced is with sprite backups. In order to create succesful backups u have to exclude "htmlnote.dll" & "HTMLNOTE.DLL" from the backup.
