any docking stations that fit the snap on case?

are there any docks out there that fit the fuze when it has the seidio innocase on?

I was wondering the exact same thing!!!

I will be interested too. I had a hard time finding out about a pouch that would fit the phone w/ the Innocase. Probably because not too many are using it.

This dock from sedio says it should fit it with the case on.
I'm curious about the fit on this dock, i am mainly interested because it has a slot for an extra battery and was wodering if anyone has any experience with the seidio case and this dock. If anyone has the case and this dock also, I would like their opinion on it also.

I just ordered a couple of very inexpensive docks w/ battery charger from a website and I will post as soon as I get them.

I know from personal experience that this one will NOT work with the Seido Innocase installed:

Could you not take out the adapter in the middle for it? Or is the area around where the phone touches the dock just one whole piece?

Finally... The 2 cradles I ordered finally arrived. So... does the phone with the Seidio snap on case fit on it? Not right out of the box, but... if you are creative you can use pliers to kind of push the connector on the cradle a little bit forward and it works perfectly. This cradle has the slot for charging a battery as well as a USB cable. It only costs $19.99 with free shipping (no, I don't know the vendor).

Kursell orbit flex case fits with Dock
Well I just got my kursell orbit flex case and I also have a docking station for my touch pro and it fits on the up right doc while in the leather case I have posted a review of the kursell case on this forum look for it but here is a link to the case http://www.cases.com/kr75388.htm

The part of the cover where the phone sits is all one piece with the mini-usb connector sticking up in the middle. The opening is molded to the shape of a naked touch pro.
I could probably take a dremel tool to it but it would look pretty bad since the whole dock is shiny black.

Case that covers ports that also works with QI charger?

Does one of these exist? I have a cheap TPU S-line case from ebay that I bought when the phone was first released. It works with the QI charger but it does not keep the dust out of the ports.
I bought two cheapies off ebay to test if something a little thicker would work with the QI charger and so far nothing does. Seems that any case that covers ports are thick and may not work with the QI charger.
BTW its the Energizer charger, not the official Google one.

I have but if a case exists that will work then I would like to give that a shot first. I notice the covers for the cases are snug fit so it wont allow dust in at all when a plug may leave room between it and the case. I work in a very dirty environment and would like to keep the phone itself as clean as possible.

Micro usb problem!

The microusb port on my n7 2012 isn't working anymore... Is there any way to charge it without the micro usb port?

use a dock, good luck finding one at this point.
alternatively repair or replace the usb port. a repair can be done with some rosin core solder and a soldering iron. you simply reshape the metal part of the connector and apply solder to the joint where the pieces of the metal meet. havent had an issue since i did that.

Buy another USB port/headset adapter from EBAY, they cost like $15 I've broken about 4 of them and its very easy to replace. You remove the back cover, lift out the battery and disconnect it. You don't need to solder anything if you just get a new port.

I used this one on my N7, less than $10 - worked great, and as mentioned above, you just need a small screw driver.

charging port scratches

So I have been using the phone for 2 months now and charging everyday with the original cable. The metal surrounding the charging port has few scratches with the paint chipped away. I always made sure to insert the type c head slowly and carefully.

I was wondering how everyone charging port looks like after few months of usage.

My port looks like day one to be honest.
Why would it scratch if you insert the cable "slowly and carefully"?

I got scratches trying to put it in a VR headset. Other than than no scratches anywhere else but charging port.

Note 4 charger port housing bent - charger cables keep snapping

Hi there.
A few months ago I dropped my refurbed, less than 2 month old, N4 on a chair leg and the housing around the charger port broke. I was told the motherboard was screwed, hence why the charge wasn't lasting. I decided the phone was too good to get rid of so I kept with it. The other day the official charger lead cable charger USB plug snapped. I put it down to being squashed by a chair. However, another cable did the exact same thing (and wasn't squashed by a chair). Could it be as a result of going into this bent housing? What is the solution.

A bit difficult to ascertain what's actually going on without something to look at.. Would you mind posting a few pics of the housing around the charging port and the snapped cables.
On a lighter note, Looks like your N4 doesn't quite like being around furniture (chairs, specifically )
