FTP over GPRS

Hi,
Hope someone can help with this.
I'm trying to use a program that sends pictures from my XDA mini S to my website by FTP. It works fine by WiFi either connected to my home network or through a hotspot.
I can't get it to establish a connection through GPRS, however - it just times out
I am using the standard O2 mobileweb settings for GPRS

I don't have an answer to your question, but what program are you using? I need a FTP client.

XDA GPRS Internet Connection initialisation in C#.NET

Hi
I'm currently developing some auditing software for out company for use on the Xda II. I need to upload data to our ftp site.. all of which works fine if i'm already connected to my Wap (GPRS) network (usual done by opening internet explorer and loading a webpage, then sending the data)
But it doesn't automatically connect when i try and connect to our ftp, obviously this isn't a supprise.. but what i really need to know if how, perfereably in visual c#.NET do i get my XDA to connect itself to its WAP connection before it tries to upload to our FTP without having to manual connect?

Hi is there any application for PPC to access, what your ISP blocked?
I use an application called "Freegate" to access blocked sites on my PC. I see proxy settings and ports in this application and it says i can use it in other browsers on my "PC". i tried those settings in my Jamin, i wasn't able to access blocked sites. by the way I can connect and surf without any problems with usb connection.
Is it Possible that i connect my PPC with usb or wifi and use that applications resources and access blocked sites on my PPC's internet explorer??

Well no. it's "Freegate" not "wingate".
What i want is to use my already running Proxy application that is: freegate on my desktop, to browse on my Pocket Pc's IE. This Pocket Pc is connected via usb.

hi, I have a T-mobile MDA. I have an unlimited data plan.I am sutfing internet on my phone easily since december 2007. now I want to access internet on pc through my phone. therefore I connected my device to pc via active sync 4.1 and easily connected my device. in conection setting of active sync I tried all 3 options 1.automatic 2.work network 3. the internet. but internet could not be open pages .showing internet explorer could not be open search pages. pleeeease help me.

you need the Internet sharing prog it works with active sync to create a network connection
it might be all ready on the the mob if not you have to find it

first u download HTC USB modem then install in ur computer. when you open this application you will find a pop up window. you should enter ur APN there. example- airtelgprs.com, before this you must activate ur modem link in phone, go to start>program>modom link
where to download this application and detailed instruction> i forgot sorry

Connecting the HTC touch diamond to internet

I would like to connect my diamond to internet through activesync using my computer connection. The PC connect to internet through an PPPoE connection. When try to browse a web page in opera it tries to connect by activesync but I can't open any page. Should I share my pc's connection?

Try adding the following registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services] "AllowLSP"=dword:0
Restart and see if it works
