Hello. I was wondering if anyone can help me out. My MDA, when logged onto AIM can no longer receive IMs. It seems to send them ok though. I dont know what the problem is. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance! By the way im using the OZ messenger that came on the phone.

Im still having trouble and every time I call for help I get sent to someone who can barely speak english. Hopefully it's just a temporary problem. But I dont know how much longer I can take this. my Internet pimpin is suffering severely!

Hi,
Not been on the forums for a while so here goes - seems like this question should already have been asked but I couldn't find anything so apologies if it has and I missed it.
I use my WIzard in the UK but I'm going to the USA later this month. Do I have to manually switch the band on the wizard? I'm pretty sure i don't (and cannot find any option to do so in the settings) but I just wanted to make sure.
thanks for any help
Lewis
no, you don't do anything. you just put the manual network search, it's better this way, while you are in roaming
I know it would be a lot of work, but I was wondering if anyone would be able to figure out how to get WM6 on the Samsung i730. I know that even before the WM5 update came out from Verizon someone figured out how to get WM5 to work on the i730 and I was wondering if that would be possible again with WM6. Is WM6 more difficult to get working on devices that do not have a dedicated update?
Thanks to anyone who replies!
Hey i just started looking into this as my brother just saw my wing and wanted to upgrade his phone. It seems there is a lot of work to make this work, and there appears to be no on ewilling to work on this. If you get an answer or a rom I would like to know as well, But again I think this may be the wrong forum for this question.
i would love this, as thats my only device that isnt wm6 yet

There are 2 options:
1. GSM operator has PTT service, and you can try to use it having proper phone - but I have heard ONLY about few Nokia models.
2. There is a kind of software "like PTT" - you have a group, and send voice via GPRS. I saw it working - but it was very poor even on UMTS network. I don't remember name of the solution :-(
First solution is better - I have used it in Plus GSM network in Poland with Nokia phone - very nice service... but not so many operators have it...
regards.
PTT Option
I ran across this: http://www.tabletmedia.com/products.html
and really wanted to give it a try, but I never seem to have the time. It is pretty expensive too.
Has anyone tried this?

Hi everyone,
I searched the forums and did not find anything... Sorry if it has been discussed before...
I just got a fido data plan (1gb $30), I set it up on the winMo sode and it works great but I have no idea on how to set it up on the vista side... Can anyone help me out... I called Fido and they have no idea and told me to call htc which said to call fido. Basically I getting the run around.
If anyone can tell me how to set it up in vista it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Do you have the data icon on in the vista side in HTC control center? Do you use a custom rom?
