I have played with the trinity 1 day(also have a jamin) and a few thoughts
No fingerprint problem in the white version at least(think how hard it is to keep a black car looking good--but easier with a white)
Boot up speed very fast--45 sec or better
Bluetooth music--you will need all the tweaks of the prophet/hermes but if done it sounds good. No skipping with iplay/ R35
3G works even with my old ATT sim card(very fast download speeds- 5 x edge). Able to stream Sirius on the high bitrate setting! Can receive voice call while getting data!
Not unstable--put pocketweather, weatherpanel, ip dashboard, pocket plus, chronos--no probs
Camera-better with low light conditions
Speed-overall better
Speaker/ringtone--louder
Downside-None yet
I still cant believe it....

Which are all the tweaks? AFAIK there is only the 'JointStereo' one.
BTW--no problem streaming internet music over wifi to bluetooth headphones. This would not work on prophet

Indeed, it is that great. I changed from Qtek 8310 (HTC Tornado) and I'm simply blown away about how much more you can do with this thing

Dude! Do you have the same sluggishness with the dutch P3600 (maybe WWE has it also)... i really think it's horribly slow sometimes; slow menu popups, unbearable scrolling-speed, etc. It seems to consume lots of RAM compared to WM2003SE on Jam when running.

Do you have any good tips in the field of registry-hacks 'n stuff ? Like making it possible to map more buttons ?
I've read somewhere here that there's a lot of tweaks for Bluetooth stereo on the TyTN and the S200...what would those be, and can someone explain some more about that ? (i'm having trouble connecting it for the first time, and some dropouts sometimes... will resume music after phonecall though )

When a lot of programs are open it slow down a bit, but not that much. The reaction time of menus is slower then mine Qtek s100. I don't know if it is a WM5 issue or the device. Emulators like Scumm and Dosbox feel definitely faster.
I also made some registry and Windows Mobiles hacks.
I mapped the speech recognition button to the CommManager and the voice recorder is the speech recognition button.
I added the US/WWE softkeyboard to the device. The Dutch keyboard is missing the question-mark and exclamation-mark when showing large keys.
I now have the WWE keyboard which is definitely better.
Maybe I try to create a new thread with some registry hacks next week.
At this moment I try to buy a Nokia HS-12W headset, I hope it is compatible with the HTC P3600.
Just curious, how did you add the US/WWE keyboard?

I extracted a HTC Wizard (WWE) rom to my PC.
I copied the following files to my device:
msim.96.dll
msim.dll
After placing the files you need to add the next registry key:

Excellent idea... Would be nice to have a list of possible hacks, allthough some are to be found in the hermes wiki...

Looking forward to it, since I don't have a Hermes. Do have a keyboard skin for a Himalaya (WM5) though. Would that work?
Ok guys - since my Molski.biz 2.26.10.2 rom has a few bugs (like the volume-control slider not working), I decided to reinstall a new rom. Ive seen already tons of threads including thousands of posts so it`s difficult to find out which rom is the best.
I heard of Faria released a cooked WM6-Rom but I m not sure if it`s working fine with the wizard and if there are still some bugs. In addition to that i don`t know if there are any incompatabilites with WM5 applications.
I`ve also seen a WM5 Rom tons auf WM5 Roms - but which one is working realy fine?
Oh forgot that: I`ve a G4 Device but it`s already CID unlocked.

I haven't tried them all but Crossbow Reloaded 1.7 has been working great for me.
A couple of people, myself included had a problem where the built in phone dialer disappeared, but I fixed that by installing the Iphone dialer (can be found here by searching).

Yes, I as my post count would suggest I am new to flashing roms and setting up 3rd party softwares on my Wizard but I must say after hanging out on this forum for a couple of weeks I now feel somewhat like a veteran.
I first flashed with crossbow reloaded 1.7.1 I liked it and didn't notice any major problems at all.
But I was so impressed by XDA Mobile 6 that i had to try it and must say after about a week using it (since it was released) I'm much more impressed, wizard seems faster, i love the interface and the post offers great insight into problems and finding what configurations work for everyone.

ok guys first i've installed core 2.0 what seems to work fine but, well u know, it's like a clean vanilla rom - too clean for me. So next i wanted Titanium but it's not released yet. After looking over the programs Faria delivers with his rom, i've decided not to have this much software and installed XDA Mobile 6. Seems to work fine and it looks nice.
Just one more question: where the heck is some difference to WM5? I mean everything looks like the same in WM6. Well ok, there is maybe a new skin, and some new tones, but in the end, i've could also use WM5 with wisbar and the Vista Skin.
For me it seems to be the same sh** like Windows XP and Vista - no real changes at all.
There's a page somewhere on Microsoft.com that details all of the new features in wm6 (Im sure if you do a google search for wm6 review you will find it). The most important one in my opinion is the ability to display HTML with in emails.

all working nice except very low MICROPHONE quality and not so good signal in some hard to reach places. People doesn hear me very good. I had to return to official wm6 rom.
I was just thinking about upgrading to this wm 6.1 rom but hearing it affects the phone functionality, i might back down. Anyone else that has updated their rom to wm 6.1 post your opinion please. Thank you.

did u try to talk with it? does anyone on the other side report a poor mic quality? A lot of peple couldnt hear me good. Otherwise is good.
Original wm6 for 614c u can find on the hp website. I restored my phone with that tool.
Dears;
I tried it for couple of days.The PPC become very slow ( slow responding ) and some times it will hange if u r a heavy user. Software wise its excellent but I dont recommend it for you, my self i reterned back to old English/ Chainess one ( 5.2.20721.1.4.0 ), It's the fatest ever room i tested plus it's excellent in term of compatibility with the arabizer software which i used.

Here is my feedback (more like first impressions as i installed it yesterday)
+++ It's faster than the original rom by means of booting, loading programs and file system read/write not tested with sk tools but it's obvious)
+++ The microphone level is ok, i have tested it in real talk - no problems at all)
+++ The camera works better - i had some problems with AF in the 6.0 official HP rom)
+++ It's wm 6.1 (has task manager and stuff)
+++ More free RAM on boot.
--- Some problems with displaying time/date in cyrillic - i guess it's the system fonts
--- Some issues with Active sync - it won't sync with the pc and sometimes it doesnt connect at all.
--- Net cf is v 2.0 and it's not working properly - some of the programs based on netcf (like keygens) exit with errors with the netcf dlls.
Please report your feedback. Do you have problems like those and how do you solve them.
i've been using the ROM for quite about 2 weeks now (20270 to be precise) with M2D mod. Works perfectly, loads faster, there are no lags or hangs.
Only thing that bothers me is that i cannot download email although the internet connection works. But this might be some issue with the settings and frankly i was too lazy to check it out

Hi guys, first thread. I got an htc touch diamond in jan and just my luck after the battery died yesterday it decided it wouldnt turn on. So my 30 days was still active i got brand new one. I need to know what apps should i put on from the start to get everything running efficiently and what apps should i stay away from and where can i download the netframe 3.5 or something of the sort i had to download for my old phone and also a program i could back up my phone numbers on my pc please. I also would like to know if nitrogen is the best player for the diamond( i like it but i dislike not being able to make playlists is there anything that could help for that. I used to have diamondtweak i think it was and advanced config let me know if those are good programs and are to or not to be used in conjunction. Thanks in advance

Best of luck with new phone...
IF YOU kow how to flash new rom just simply change you current rom to new one for all kind of latest stuff.
main is user interface with all tabs...
latest manila is 2.5 with wm 6.5.
every kind of softwares are present in it.
no need of any fancy keyboards, players, editors.
I am giving you advise after a lots of research and downloading/uninstalling/installing/flashing hundrads of thousands..in my diamond.
best one with good battery life/WM6.5/manila 2.5/ is the Italian wwe 2.07 latest rom. you can find it here..atlast finally i am staying with this rom with all updates..

If you don't know how to flash new rom and want to stay with current wm6.1 stock rom then let me know before any installation.I'll give you names of usefull softwares...
main thing is the RAM consumption in Diamond. keep an eye on it in taskmanager...
Yesterday I installed the latest official firmware ROM update for the Xperia X2 (from SEUS)
It is Software version R1BA023
For the first time, I am pleased with Sony Ericsson for the update
Here's a list of changes and what's new:
1.- "Fast GPS" app (sort of SE's version of "quick GPS")
2.- VideoCall support added to the dialer and context menus, along with a proper configuration app @ settings
3.- FM Radio has been incorporated into slideview
4.- Tilewave Panel has been updated:
now it has a handy battery status tile and the hour bug seems to be fixed
5.- SlideView has been enhanced:
many new buttons and features to sync and write emails, call list display, etc
6.- The WM 6.5 SYS|XIP has finally been updated
to the more stable CE OS 5.2.21891 (Build 21891.5.0.88)
This newer build solves many SYS related bugs: now it holds ringtones, returns to the start menu when closing an app, etc
The downturn: xtrakt and experiment 13 have both been removed
(but hey who cares, we have CABs for them)

Too bad you're not present as frequent as you were, I like the time pionering the early 6.5 builds with you....
But...we all gotta move on sometime (I still got about 8 months left before I can trade my X1, hopefully by that time WP7 phones will be avialable).
Thanks for the info on X2....wished SE did some proper updates on X1 like they are now doing on X2 (maybe they've learned from their mistake).
