Some of the images look a little choppy but it's only because screenshots through adb aren't as quick as if it were a standard Android phone. Every Live Wallpaper is silky smooth. You'll See.

hmmmm, time to have a go at installing android I think.......

Just about to try these, but can you tell me why the first steps and what happens by putting those files into the lib folder?
could I not just install the apk's on their own with a file manager?
just curious...really
EDIT: answered my own question... you can't install the apks on their own.. but i am getting an error message when I try and copy the two files into the lib folder, says java.io.IOException: No space left on the device! .... anyone any ideas where I'm going wrong?

not working on Froyostone v1
I have the Sense version of froyostone running so no /lib folder...but the apk's installed fine. However, only Dandelion works, the rest "force close" (have done 3 reboots) immediately when trying to preview. I tried setting it anyway but it errors out when you go back home. Any ideas?

I saw that, well they are v2 I think, but same series...didn't want to upgrade as seems to have some problems, but will try the wallpapers again when I do. Thanks for your work.

Well, all of us use different ROMs and have a different customisation style. I'd like the whole of my members to take screen shots of what ROM they are using and how have they customized it. I have posted it in this forum because I want everyone to participate and solve/ask problems to the chefs.
You need to post the screenshots describing the ROM, the way you have customized you ROM, the theme you are using and the newest and best application you found useful. You can also put in the most used application's screenshot over here. You may also suggest any application[NOT WAREZ] to the members.
Alternatively, if you are facing any problem with the ROM, just screen shot it over here and describe the problem and the members/counterparts/chefs may help you out.

We have worked very hard at making this build as stable as possible. Phone runs smooth and is meant to be used as a "daily driver." We pride ourselves on making very stable roms that you can flash and not have to worry about. So far testing has produced no issues but please report any you may find. We will be making our own custom kernel edits in the future to improve battery life and also will be working to optimize the framework to help with phone performance as well. For best results it is recommended you wipe data for best results.

Hi. It's enough fast for me. Background apps (for example launcher) sometimes close themselves (without any error) while I'm surfing on the net because of low memory. But I think that's not important because I don't surf on internet with spica.
I don't get any errors or something. I can say that it's faster than 2.2.
UI is almost very smooth.
Bugs: Camera doesn't work because it's first alpha release (samdroid developers are working on it). Videos can't be played for now. When you connect spica to pc, you can't see its sd card.
Bad point: Battery can finish in only a day if you play too much and use wifi. Maybe using a task killer makes it go longer.
4.0 has only one rom for spica. It's cm9. I installed 2.3 first but I wanted a change of phone. Then I installed 4.0 and I'm using it with no real bugs. New ICS animations runs smoothly. tom3q's openFIMG graphic driver is used in this room. It's smoother than stock one although it's not completed yet.
I loved UI. Pm me if you have spica and want to try it so I can help. You have root?

What's wrong with xda? I can't send pms using computer but I can do it using Tapatalk app from my phone!
If you try to contact me and sent me a mail and I didn't answer you in 2 days, check your "sent mails" folder to see if they are really sent. Use tapatalk app if you couldn't send.

Here will be released the upcoming "Serenity-ROM", the counterpart to the "firefly"-ROM by me...
Currently the planning period for this ROM is in progress...
I think, it will become a "Low-Ressource" firmware, that will be quie fast...
But you can post any suggestions for this firmware here...

Can you Try following things in your new rom(for 8530) :
1. Please try to make rom fast so that we can play heavy games without lag and unlocking of phone without lag .
2. If possible,try to fix or remove memory leakage issue:silly:
3. if possible,add some kind of sound effect like vodoo or extreme grove in ROM
4. Make hidden bada storage visible via USB.
5. If possible,make GPS fix fast.:silly:

1. If it is possible to reduce the lag ... for example when I play Asphalt 6 all widgets are closed.
2. If it is possible to add a Facebook app that lets you know in real time when you receive a message, a LIKE or someone has written on the wall ... etc ... just like on Android.
3. If it is possible to add a GPS application that works and that you know when to turn right or left and when to go ahead ... I hope I did understand, because the already preinstalled, Samsung LBS, must be activated, to look your way from one point to another and to guide you on that road.
Waiting for your rom :good:

3. It is not planned to include navigation in this rom...
You have it in the "firefly" ROM with Route66... But, you need a license...
