Hi All,
Can I install something on my english rom XDA II mini for it to display chinese characters?
Thanks in advance.
you can find a couple over here:
http://www.pocketgear.com/software_browse.asp?cat=100
I"m still waiting for my Jam to be shipping in, so hehe, i have no opinion on any of those programs, but they're still worth trying. good luck.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Try Monster Chinese 2002 (or 2003)
Does anyone have a Hebrew solution? I would like to access hebrew enabled websites etc.
TY.
If you buy this solution from them, then you have full hebrew support http://www.pocketpc.co.il/
Hebrew for TyTn
There are couple of Hebrew support solutions for the TyTN.
Eyron Hebrew support (www.pocketpc.co.il) and PDAC (www.wince.co.il).
I tried both and found that Eyron is very heavy on my TyTN and causes pauses in operation while PDAC works very well (although there is a small bug with alignment to the right of contacts in English mode, however does not trouble too much and easily fixed).
Cheers
Rafi
Ye i did try the pocket pc.il one but we chutsnicks dont really need the UI change. Just the support.
TY.
The only Hebrew support I have found working is PDAC.
You can use it with Hebrew enabled only so web site, SMS, emails can be read.
If Anybody could help us Dumping or running the Arabizer that comes with all i-mate devices on Wm6 , that would be great. Anybody interested please ?

I don't think it is possible. I know that a lot of people have been trying to crack the Hebrew support for WM6 and no one has been able to yet. I assume that the problem is the same with Arabizer as with the Hebrew support.
Yep , and the sad news , HTC is no longer manufacturing for i-mate devices . they are 2 different companies as i understand. The arabizer suite is found on the net but it's a 59.99$ package. unfair !

I know exactly what you mean. The 2 companies (for hebrew) are PDAC and Eyron. The best that I have been able to do so far is to get hebrew fonts installed but all the text is backwards so I can read it but with much difficulty, and of course there is no way to write.
Haha exactly the same problem , i can read them but backward.
I use the Imagent arabizer and it is working fine
same here, imaginet arabizer is great, the fact that it's cracked somewhere on the net, and i think it's not possible to share it here on these forums.
Arabizer V2 for WM6 - working
To those who are interested in the Arabizer for WM6 include key gen.
tried it on my PDA2K with Helmi Windows Mobile 6 Profesional
CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2).

I thaink I had arabizer 2.0 from pocket gear which is now not active and I will post it to you with a key generator
that would be great
SMS?
Hi,
I've upgraded my PDA2k to WM6 and installed Imagenet Arabizer. Finally I can read Arabic SMS but my problem that whenever I try to send or reply to SMS the number of characters lefts shown out 70 even though I'm witting in English not Arabic. Any body experienced same issue ? what might be the solution ?

You can install Pocket Islam and it will give you an arabic keyboard. If you're not Muslim, then you can just use the keyboard part of the program.
Thank you Kareem I'll try

You need to install an SIP (Keyboard) that has both Arabic and English, I would suggest Finger Keyboard, just search for "Finger Keyboard 2.1 VGA"

Clear but I mean the external qwerty keyboard (slide out keyboard), found a solution for the Touch Pro 2 but seems not to have same keyboard layout...
external Arabic keyboard solution
My device is Samsung i780 running wm6.1.
I had the same problem, and the Mobidiv localization was totally useless to me because the it could never utilize the external keyboard.
The only Arabization solution that worked is Paragon LE
The trade off with Paragon's Arabization is that it only allows Tahoma font, no matter what you select in any program
Working fine on my Touch HD; tested with many many 6.1 & 6.5 ROMs without any problems.
