WM 5.0 on a M1000 too?

As there is a WM 5.0-ROM for the Qtek 2020 available, is this also working on a Orange M1000, which is generally the same device?!

Qtek 2020 / M1000 are all Himalaya... wm5 is here!

Thanks - I just asked because the WM 5.0-ROM for the Typhoon was only running on a SPV C500, but not on a Audiovox!
So what exactly are the things that are not running with this ROM?
Is there anywhere an exact description on how to update it and how to revert back to the old rom?

Hi all,
I have an Orange SPV M1000 i am trying to unlock, i have tryed all the methoods i could from the site. I have managed to get the phone to accept other networks sim cards but when i attempt to make a call it dials then hangs up.
Can anybody help?
Is it somthing to do with the radio rom version?

Hi,
My SPV 1000 is exacly the same as yours (same radio and OS). I used the new xda2 unlock utility and it worked like a charm.

I have a Orange Spv M700 and also a Orange Spv M600 The Device information on my M700 is as follows.
Operating Version 19.123.1.615
Rom Version 1.23.615
Rom Date 01/25/07
Radio Version 1.30.00.01
Protocol Version 32.63.7020.08H
What I would like to know is can this rom be extracted and placed on my M600, the reason being I am using TomTom 6 on both devices yet only my M700 allows me to use my Usa maps and I would like to be able to use my Usa maps on both devices. Hope this makes sense.

Why do you think it is to do with ROM? I used TomTom on my M600 and now using it on my M700. You may need new code PM me with exact map version and your device code.

Used Orange SPV M3100 with Windows TAI Edition

Hi there,
I purchased a used SPV M3100 and it comes with Windows TAI edition, which is quite annoying to me, I want its original rom or 6.1 on this device for this I download different rom's from orange website and some others but no one is working for me please if anyone can help me to find original or 6.1 rom for this device...
