Can you use romkitchen with a magician unit. Or is it just the wallaby units that you can change?
If it's possible to edit a magician rom, can you then remove programs that are bundled with that rom or is it just possible to add stuff.

No not really. Basic applications are fix in the ROM. Maybe it´s possible to overwrite them, but never tried it.

Why do you want to remove the applications from ROM? Perhaps there is another way to reach what you want.

Id think it would be perfect to have a rom kitchen for the magician.
Has anyone ever found a way to edit the rom (not the ExtRom) and add/delete apps?

get the cab file from an extented rom and put it in your extented rom

Ahh, get the cab file from where and stick it in my whatchumacallit? Sorry, I've only just started using the XDA2.
I did the wm6 upgrade on my smt5600 and all went great. Got the camera working and everything. I installed the Windows live that was included in the extras pack but it doesn't do anything. I click on sign in to windows live and that's as far as it goes. Is there a rom available that will give me windows live or pocket msn?

Have you tried the Rasteroid drivers? According djboo they should be a bit better.
Sorry for the simple and stupid question, but out of these .net 3.5
NETCFv35.ppc.armv4.cab
NETCFv35.wce.armv4.cab
NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab
which one do I install for my leo? I would guess it's the ppc version, but then what are wce and wm for?
Thanks
