How can i copy all contacts to sim?

Hi i am trying to copy all contacts at once to the sim card, like i used to with the mda 1, 2 and 3. I know i can copy them one by one, but that cannot be the solution. Any ideas ? Regards, The Modifier.[/u]

itd be great if someone vould find a solution to this as i realy need to copy my 200 contacts to sim and i sont want to do it one by one

guys press ctrl + a to select all (highlighted) tap the screen for few secs. then chose save to sim.. hope this helps

Can you keep all the detail from contacts in WM5 when saving them to a sim? I thought all the additional info would be lost if you managed to save them to sim?

ive used the cntrl a function but all the contacts are not highlighted. and even if they were there is no option by holding down the stylus to copy all to copy to sim card. this could be because iv installed the latest i mate rom.

Is it possible to write phone numbers to the sim directly? Or is it impossible on an atom?

Piece a Cake. In CONTACTS - MENU - NEW SIM CONTACT.

No good, gives me this error:
SIM error. Unable to save the information to the SIM.
Cant even delete a SIM contact. Is it because im using a danish SIM? Do i need to make some settings for it to work and all?

As a variant - SIM is blocked by operator.

Contacts: Sim to Memory

Is there any way to transfer my contacts from my sim card to my phone memory, or my memory stick?

You can do that through the Sim Manger application. there should be a shortcut in the Programs menu. if you have deleted the shortcut it should be under the \windows directory. You can select all of the contacts there and use the menu to select "save to Contacts"

Oh, BTW, does anyone have an idea how to edit your contact's information via computer? I've tried but I can't seem to figure it out. I find it a really big hassle to edit everyone's information through my 8125 because I just transferred them from the sim card so I only have their names and numbers. I have a lot of contacts. :? You can do it through MS Outlook>Contacts. Sync and edit, and sync again. I use Outlook 2003.

Oh, so simple, thank you! I tried it before but I was using Outlook Express so I guess it didn't work.

to sync data from OE you would need 3rd party software like

how to access SMS stored on SIM ?

I got second SIM and I have a few important SMSs stored on SIM...how can I copy or read them on my Hermes? SIM manager offers only contacts copying not a word about SMS....

yes. AKU 3.3 have this function.
u can try SKTools to gather sms from sim.

retrieving sim contacts

i just reset my phone to factory settings...
I have lost all my contacts and cannot find any in the sim manager..
Is there a way I can retrieve them?

the hd2 doesnt store them on the sim, so if they werent already on the sim card before, then they've gone. (I take it you havent been using myphone, or outlook, or exchange, or pim manager, or some other contact backup prog?)

sure i understand the contacts not on the sim which were installed to my HD2 only have gone, however there were contacts on the sim before which I cannot get hold off...when I go to people/sim manager and try to import sim contacts there are 0
whats happened?
Im assuming I have lost my sim contacts aswell?

hmm, well if - people tab - all people - menu - view - sim doesnt show any, then there aren't any i'm afraid.
