Hi all, after going to the dark side [cough]iPhone[/cough] I've decided to sell my 7 month old Vario II... its in top condition with offical WM6 and a 1Gb MicroSD card...
Now, I'm going to ebay it and wonder what sort of money I should hope to get for it... mainly so I can set a reasonable reserve!

I'm thinking of selling my brand-new in box AT&T 8525 and I've been checking ebay. The low-end price for a well-used non-brick is around $300US. BNIB units are fetching around $400-450 and some people are asking more than $500 but aren't getting it. The mid to high $300 range for an average unit seems about right.
I reckon you’ll get between $300 - $375 for it.
If it is in good used condition, I reckon it is worth between £175 and £225.

Anyone interested in buying a litely used vx6800 that I bought new in July? It comes with some accessories. It was upgraded to wm6.1 and gps enabled.

hey jray do your self a favor and put it on craigslist or ebay at 200 it will sell. I sell near a dozen a month for this price. Make sure to include gps features as well and aftermarket programs because people looking for christmas gifts love gps.

i got mine direct from o2 as a contract replacement handset, the price from them was £370 but you have to have had a contract with them for over 12 months

i got mine less than a week ago, i also only payed £277.65 as i had a 25% discount on the handset for being a loyal o2 customer, i've been with them since they were cellnet so about 15 years with the same number lol

The resonis simpel there are many lemons HD2 out there.
If I was you, before buying, read closely all the threads that are talking about bugs.
And best of all just wait few more weeks to see what would be the future new devise out there.

You can also get a B-Stock HD2 (whatever that means) for 450.
B-Stock = used/opened product.
I bought my HD2 from handtec.co.uk. The was price was around 460.
If you pay by card and the delivery address is different from the billing address you will need to provide proof of your billing address.

Every single HD2 comes with a brand-new resealing sticker in the box for some insane reason....so I would never trust a private sale as being 'sealed'. I sold my 4th one genuinely sealed, never been opened. I'd be willing to bet a lot of these 'sealed' ones don't have the spare seal in the box!

Its not new, there is no box, just the phone and charger so probably returned or refurbished even though says new.wonder what's the warranty situation for these phones bought from Ebay. price looks fine though. Well, they've wrote "this is the samsung galaxy note n7000 new". It's completely against the rules to be deceitful about things like that, and doing so can warrant a full refund and negative feedback. Neither of which an ebayer ever wants. I'll let you know how it all looks when it arrives.
The price on amazon.de is fluctuating a lot due to shortage of stock, so you need patience to get a nice price.

I've been waiting for weeks, trust me I've been patient
When I started looking they were about £470, they dropped as low as £430 at one point, which I almost went for.
Patience is the key. Early adopters are the heroes. We get a chance to sit back and watch the bugs ironed out.The development processes mature and the prices drop. Waited a few months to jump on the SGS II and recently bought my wife one which was less than $400 used with a pile of accessories. If I have can hold out till April or May it should prime for all the advantages of waiting.
In the mean time the SGS II is the same device only smaller.

How much does an unlocked note sell for second hand in mint condition, anyone got any ideas, im in the uk, ive googled it and ive seen prices of like £300, but i find that hard to believe as the phone is £599 in the shop still where i got it from, so im concerned that some of those online prices me be for copies or variants, i know the S2 had copies knocking about for a while.
Any advice appreciated.

I bought a 2nd hand note for my wife for £370, my mate bought a 2nd hand one for the same price off ebay. I've even found it for sale for just £354 plus £10 postage..I bought my tablet off these guys so its legit.
So about £350-380 would seem to be the going rate for selling it as used.

I would say 300 2nd hand is about right. I just picked one up on contract for a total contract cost of 370 (so that includes 200 mins/unlimited text/100mb data). I reckon within a month or 2 the resale value will be 200-250.
Mobiles just dont hold their value as well any more imo. Example would be my LG Optimus 2x I paid 480 or something new April last year, by November/December you could pick them up new for 200 new, now I'd be lucky to get a 100 2nd hand for it. After that it put me off ever buying another device within the first 6 months of its life cycle.

i got it for around 460 GBP ( but did not pay vat - shipped outside UK ) towards the end of October last year.

got a quote off CEX today, £330 in its mint condition, so ill be listing it around that, i guess online you can get anything cheap if you look hard enough, id like to know if all these foreign cheapo Notes are actually N7000`s or if they are actually the variant.
If i wanted a HTC One, yer i can get it cheap online, but it aint the HTC ONE X, its a different cheaper model.
Checked again today, all highstreet re-sellers have the Note listed at £500+.

I see this as a great bang for buck, being 2 year olds and I keep seeing prices of 200 But they no longer exist (atleast where I am looking). So what I am asking is could anyone point me in the direction for the cheapest xoom brand new?

Xoom isn't shipping new any more and the high street retailers have run out of stock, so the price is artificially high as demand temporarily exceeds supply. You'll only get it used for 200 notes, not new.

At the moment, new ones are going for £330 on ebay.
Argos have them listed at £249.99 yet they don't seem to be available!
Argos EBay £249 referbished with 12 months warranty, I got one and it was in perfect condition boxed, now runs jellybean.
