Htc Weather Standalone Plugin Cab Possible

Is it possible to make a cab just for the htc weather only? I would like to install just the weather app as a standalone today plugin rather than the full htc home. Thanks

May not be the perfect solution but why not just disable all other tabs in the today settings. Then it only displays weather?

I'm trying to avoid having to install the HTC home to begin with because it coflicts with my customized today skin... Im assuming this is already a dead issue since I couldnt get any answers. Thanks for the effort

I would love to have HTC Weather as a standalone program for my XPERIA
I would pay a resonable fee, to get this done.

Update to HTC Home Plugin?

I saw in the Kaiser fourm they have 2.08 something for the HTC home plugin and I was wondering if it's safe to update my 1.50 (stock Sprint) on the Vogue (touch whatever) or will this cause issues because it's in the Kaiser forum?

I'm using it right now and am having no problems.

I've looked on the Kaiser forum but couldn't find it, there is a page with a bunch of HTC cab files but most don't work on the Touch, could you give a link to that plugin?

Whats different regarding the plugin? Any new features?

anyone have any info on this? I didnt see the udpate over there and havent heard anything about what it does.

I think it's called Schen's 6 Tab home plugin. The big advantage (for me at least) is that you can pick which tabs and what order they're in.
The weather tab is useless for me since I don't live near a city on the official list or the Accuweather site by modding it, so I could finally get rid of it and replace it.

HTC Weather Web Page

Hello there guys,
Can anyone help me change the webpage settings which are used to update HTC home weather?
I have edited the xml document in \windows to include my hometown and work location but although I can find both places in www.accuweather.com, I cannot update the weather on my trinity because the default webpage is set to htc.accuweather.com.
Is there a way to change the registry to look on a different website for updates??

After all the help I got on the question I finally decided to buy SPB Weather and use it with Mobile shell, don't need HTC Home anymore. I can now input which source I can get my weather updates from.

I would like to know if it could be possible to have an app able to update automatically our position in the manila weather tab in using the last GPS coordinate knows.
In that way we could have weather information everywhere without touching our diamond.

...and it would be fantastic if the weather tab could show current local time for the locations too
I can dream....but I dont even know if that is possible

Adding cities to Weather

Has anyone tried the Weather database tools recommended for the Diamond series to see if they work in adding alternative cities to the weather database on the Snap?

I havent received my Snap yet, but when I do, im gonna use the NRG MiniWeather program, since someone has got it to work on their Snap. You can get it here
