it replaces htc album, with the new one from diamond 2. the link is in the windows folder if you didnt have album installed before.
the only difference i noticed was that it is a little more snappier (faster)

Yes its a bit snappier (a subjective adjective).
The fonts in the options menu have changed.

if dutty ports his newest rom to x1 then we can have landscape manilla ASAP.. but as far as i know dutty is the only one with the files and has his rom protected so ppl cant easily get the files.

I think i don't get it. I've installed it and no new icon in start menu. Then i found HTC_Album.exe in windows folder and started it. That worked but I didn't get the point. How do I change the displayed folder and what is the purpose of the software anyway?

yes. it replaces original album app.
i did not put shortcut in programs folder as most has album installed, and it would be 2 shortcuts or none depending on language in rom then
the shortcut is in win. dir for thoose who want it.

But I can't even zoom a picture. You are required to use the zoom slider on Diamond 2 / Touch Pro 2 which we don't have on X1.
Also, I can't browse through the pictures while in full screen using touch gestures. It's prety useless then?

use finger guesture to zoom.

not 100% sertian, but i think that is an inplantation from the new touchflo, called htc geasture.

Hi all.
I found a working version of the diamond 2 keyboard.

It is an early beta, and don't expect it to work. On my phone only qwerty works.

Here is a non-stock rom dump for you. It is completely unorganized but all the files are there. You will have to find which files are for the keyboard and pull them out. It does have the keyboard in it you are looking for. Along with a lot of stuff seen on the Diamond/TP 2.

that cab made my keyboard stop working on my diamond? why has this happend
I'm glad I made a backup on my device

I installed the cab found here ppcgeeks and everything works ok on my 2.03 Duttys ROM.
The only drawback is that this Diamond2 Keyboard has its own menu in order to select different language, different keyboard etc (the down arrow menu).
This results to appearance of two menus (one above the other) for selecting keyboard options.
How can we disable the pop up of one of them?

It is. its basically s2u2 but the slider is placed at the top and doesnt have a slide bar. If there was someone good with recoding/coding it wouldn't be too hard to apply the same things used in s2u2 to make a custom unlock like the WM 6.5 one.

The changes in the upsomming release of S2U2 seem to be in the WM 6.5 direction. Still, I would love to see a deeper intergration.

well as said i didnt mean in deign but s2u2 is made like a program that automatically lays itself on top of the wm userface. so i guess you could do the same with the wm 6.5 lock? maybe as said integrate it a bit deeper than s2u2 is.

Jepp, S2U2 is working on Diaond and Touch Pro! But be sure to use the VGA version of this great app!

The WM6.1 Lockscreen (and the Slide2Answer!) ist the best screen I seen. Its looks nicer than S2U2 and is basically simplier than S2U2.

I sure do think that such an application is worth a lot of donations! i will for sure! im desperately googling daily for it

Maybe A_C would be willing to have an option in the settings of S2U2 to choose the WM6.5 look or the original S2U2 look...?

i did find that thread but just wasn't sure if that is the one i am looking for. is that one unmodded and fresh from a htc device with that version of touchflo? also is there a way to undo it if i don't like it?

bump.... so yeah is there any way to undo this if i think i don't like it without hard reset? also is this an untouched version without any mods pulled from a device that has the touchflo3d 2?

Yes it is. Just use Sktools for that.

BioTouch Problem

Dear Pals,
Using Biotouch of 6.1 on 6.5 causing msgs when scrolling down and press finger to stop it to move to another box.
Is there a setting that prevent this!!! using biotouch from mega causing audio manager & youtub player to not scroll down correctly.

I'm not 100% sure what biotouch is (it's for finger scrolling, right?), but I'm pretty sure you don't want it with 6.5. I've never used it; 6.5 has native finger scrolling that's better than anything in 6.1. My recommendation is to just dump it.

Removing biotouch will cause to loose the ability to change the sip language from sip menu.

In my case the dummy doesn't work for the blackstone.
It is required by the biotouch.dll to work. It crashes when you slide pages in the RSS Hub or slide between emails.
Have anyone found a different solution?

i know it works for me:-o
i dont have rss hub(i do have a rss program but i think you are reffering to the rss on the home page?) in my roms but i know i can slide left and right in emails to go to the next or previous one and i have it cooked in every rom

I've found the way to use the dummy. I've added the programs which were crashing to the exception list, and problem solved!
