Hi, I have a wierd problem. When I go to my Inbox, I can see the list of messages but when i click on any of the messages or "new" message link, all i get is a blank white screen. This is the same with any of the other messaging folders, like sent, drafts etc.
So basically, now i am unable to write a new sms nor read any of my old messages.
please help!!!

I am not using GPRS / MMS messaging. Niether I have installed anything new recently. and even my sms-inbox is not overflowing with messages.. hardly 25-30.
Is there an option other than a hard reset?

I applied the ROM update, and everything seems OK, except PIE. I get the message "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again."
I can connnect to my POP3 server, I can use Skype, I just can't view a web page. Have tried WiFi, Passthru and GPRS/UTMS. When I try GPRS/UTMS, it doesn't even try to connect to look for a page.
I've tried www.google.co.uk, news.bbc.co.uk, and many more, but with no luck.
Anyone come across anything similar?

open IE and go menu/tools/options and chane to unicode (UTF-8) should be can view

Yep so I have changed it and nope, zero, nil, null.. same error all the time. All other apps work fine. Been hammering for over a month over this.
All I could conclude without much guessing as it is all over the place, upgrade or no upgrade it is simply not accepting the protocol I believe. If you try out the 'about:' type as in about:blank URL that pluggable internet blx yeah it works. Wonderful, blank page.. Anything with http:// on it, I see we should ignore and send the device to the cleaners.
Are you O2 contract or Pay as you Go?
I have the T-Mobile MDA Vario with the recent update from Jun 2006:

Am also running Magic Button v 2.0 (build 51023). No overclocking or anything else.
Bottom line is I go into IExplorer, connect to GPRS to browse to any web page. Then I close IExplorer and from then on when I use the keyboard to type a text message for some reason everytime I create a New Text Message it always defaults to upper-case as if the CAPS SHIFT was double-pressed. This is annoying as I always have to double-press the Caps Shift key before typing any text.
This also happened BEFORE I applied the update. Is this some kind of overseen bug? Has anyone seen a fix for this? Would appreciate it for piece of mind. I always have to reboot the device each time as a workaround.

So, I installed the .cab that allows my HTC HD2 to use the stock WM messenger interface. However, recently, I have been unable to send or receive picture messages. I haven't changed anything on the phone, it just stopped working.

Anybody have any ideas? I know it's a weird problem...
The issue you are having is when you installed that cab it removed the messaging client that controls your mms. You will need to do a search for Arcsoft MMS and try to find one that works for you. If you had read the posts in your link then you would have seen I stated the same thing there
