MSN Messenger? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Is there a MSN Messenger client I could use on my phone that would count against my text messages? AIM counts against my text messages, I'm sure MSN could do it too.
I have unlimited texts, and no internet MB usage. So It would be more convenient

I think oz messenger (default program in official t-mobile 2.26) lets you connect to aim, yahoo, and msn. oz messenger works completely through text messaging, so it won't count against your internet. if you can find someone who might've extracted the cab file from the extended rom, that might work...

thanks. found a link to it on this site. hope it works
if anyone knows any other clients, that could help!

Okay apparently that one doesn't have MSN on it. Only ICQ, Yahoo, and AIM.
I need MSN messenger. A client that works as a text messaging client, not a data transfer client. Someone please help me out here; I've been searching google like crazy.

AOL Instant messenger? & Yahoo Messenger?

Is there a way to install these onto the XDA Exec?
Yes, you can install many versions of AIM, AOL or Yahoo messenger. If you have t-mobile in US. They offered a text msg version of aim, icq and yahoo messenger on the ipaq 6315. (I may still have a version somewhere). These apps are not really aim or yahoo messenger, but a text (sms) version of the original applications. Each msg counts toward your text msg alottment. Signing onto aim may take 2-3 msg's, checking buddy list, several more, etc. If you have unlimited text, its not a problem, but it is not true aim or yahoo messenger.
You can download a version of AOL from handango (i think 19.95) that has aim, aol email, etc. You can also download an older version from a uk web site. This uses gprs or wifi and does not count against text msg count. I only use aim or aol, so that works for me.
Most people however, use Agile messenger, which has aim, yahoo, icq and others and it does work on the jasjar.
If you use multiple instant msg apps, try Agile messenger. Just google for it. The web site talks about fees, but I have never received any fees.

OZ Messenger Tmobile MDA USA. Do you have MSN ?

Hey,
Do you manage to have the MSN working ? I only have ICQ, Yahoo and AOL but not MSN like it shows on their website !
I really need the MSN one !
And does your AIM connect ? Mine pretend to sign on but doesnt actually do it...it quits after a while.
Thanks
I would stay away from OZ as it takes from your Text Messages. The MSN Messenger is the little manaquin looking icon. Click that and you're signed on. if you had pocket msn set up.
Msn messenger is in 'Pocket MSN'
Go to log onto to Pocket MSN
After you do this you will have 4 options to chose from
One of those options is MSN messenger itself

Newb question - text messaging vs. instant messaging

So I have the phone and was wanting to start exploring the IM/Chat clients. I have MSN,Yahoo, and ICQ accounts.
BUT.... my wife and I have text messaging blocked, and I don't have a text plan. I get strange messages that the IM clients are disabled. I guess I didn't think text messaging was the same as instant messaging?
Am I right should it be separate.... or are they Dependant?
Thanks appreciate your help.
Grab a copy of palringo from palringo.com...it can log onto aim, icq, msn, yahoo, etc....and send/receive text/pics and voice msg's....for free and uses only your data connection....be it wifi, edge/3g or activesync to a pc.......
