Flash Player 7
Flash Player 7 works great on Pocket Internet Explorer for the Univerial where websites require the "Flash Plugin". I have used it for a while with no problems at this time on my Qtek 9000.

Toonami.com if I want to watch Cartoons on my computer needs a Flash Player. I want to try if it will allow me to watch the same cartoons on my Universal. I'll post back with the results in a bit. (Didn't work)
I also found this thread about "You Tube": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=313961

if you want it i could send it to you....

The streaming media app doesn't support Real (tm) streams from what I've tried, but it does stream 3gp. I've extracted it from the Cheetah. Once I have the bugs worked out for a cab install I'll make it available.
Question: are there any good 3gp streaming sites? I had a hard time trying to find any by doing a google search.
I'll jump in the boat..
I've been looking forever for a decent RTSP player...
and i've tried real player and a whole heap of other crap to no avail still.

Hi, I was wondering if you had worked out the bugs in that Streaming Media cab file as I'd like to stream some TV clips via Vodafone Live.

<bump> Does anyone have the "Streaming Media" application?
I found it lurking in a TyTN ROM bundled with the camera application but when I attempted an installation it ended up stuffing up the camera application and the streaming media application didn't work either.
Any solutions here?

can anyone recommend some good online streaming link?

finally get rid of the o2 orbit which runs extremely slow.
Can anyone recommend some links for good online streaming? I like the feeling of lying on bed and watching program/clip with Athena...

Windows Media can't play videos? (jagan I need help!)

I use jagan2's ROM and everything works perfectly fine. But I have an issue with it. The windows media in the ROM can only play music but not the video. I downloaded divx program but I still dont know how to play the videos I recorded from my phone because it still opens the video file with windows media instead of the divx. How do I do to fix it?

Thanks for the response! But can you suggest another program because Coreplayer doesnt have sound for some reason?
Have you tried the freeware TCPMP? It plays almost every kind of files out there Audio and Video. You can get it right here on XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636423
I'm using it on Jagan's Evo2 ROM and it works perfectly.
Good luck.
Yes, the above suggestions will work for you.
And yes in the new version it will be fixed. Still finding time to finish it.

what you mean that it doesnt have sound?
perhaps you downloaded the wrong version...or the trial one..also there is a thing in the program (a thing that can be scrolled, as in every another program.cause of my "good" english i cant really explain you what i mean and i dont rly think that somebody understands what i am writing here, however =D) that controls the sound.
i dont know.
but today i rewatched the "harry potter 6" with coreplayer and everything was super
http://4pda.ru/forum/dl/post/336158/CorePlayer.PocketPC.r7427.cab and i downloaded it from here (it's a direct link that doesnt need a keygen or a crack so enjoy)
what about the "TCPMP"..I never tried it, but cause it's freeware, it cant be better then the coreplayer =p
@jagan2, honey...this forum can live without you =p it would be better if the time that you are spending by answering questions here would be used on finishing the rom.thanks =D
Thx guys, i fixed it!
Btw, japan, I would like to try your ultimate EVO but is there a way to save the texts on my current phone because they are quite important and I dont wanna lose them from flashing new ROM.

[Q] Flash player

Hi everybody,
Has anyone try to view flash video on the streak; has anyone issues with it and how did you resolve this? I am on a site which is broadcasting flash videos; my streak is charging them but nothing happens, any ideas? How can I resolve it? Do I have to download something? (I am running the official dell froyo update)
Thanks for answering
It SHOULD play the vids. I've tried iplayer on Wifi and it worked really well indeed (I'm using Steve's custom 2.2 build 1.4.1)
....thinks....ooh yeah - have you downloaded the flash 10.1 player from the market?

Adobe flash player
Yes I did but on some sites it's charging without playing...
hmm. any sites in particular? I'll try them on mine and see what happens (assuming they're respectable of course... )
Its a belgian news site : "rtl info.be"; the video's are charging but not playing.
well I've had a quick look and it's certainly downloading the vids BUT at work I just don't have a fast enough connection - a couple of bars of Edge is the best I get.
I'll try again at home, on Wifi. They seem to be quite big files.....
Ah just noticed - they're mp4 not flash! Hth?
