Can someone post a working link to the Button Rom 1.05 that is not on rapid share?
Everyone I see that links to an XDA file has an error on the page.
Thanks. I think I may have figured out my issue.
according to the thread dr. p updated the links, since xda is no longer suppose to host roms as per m$. if you read through the initial post, there seems to be a rapidshare link.

Yes I read that. I was just hoping there would be a source somewhere else other than rapid share? I have seen people personalyl host file from here before, just didnt know if it was like that.
I can not get to repidshare from here, that is the only issue.

I would do it but i dont know how to
I think it would be good to have a list of all the roms so we dont have to scavenge the forums for them
Added some roms, some one elses turn
The emergence of the Telus Fascinate in Canada just made everything more confusing.
To help, I've updated the Galaxy S Series wiki page with a hardware comparison table.
---- edit ... umm, okay, I tried to post a link to the wiki page but the board rejected this post because "new" users aren't permitted to post links. So you'll have to follow the links from the wiki yourself or maybe someone else could post it. ---
It's forum.xda-developers DOT COM / wiki/index.php?title=Samsung_Galaxy_S_Series
There's still some missing info about the Epic and other variants.
Feedback and edits appreciated.
it also wont let me post as a new user. But I would like to see:
*update
now it is letting me edit. I think that post put me over the top! haha.
I added some more kernels
I got my evo replaced through the sprint insurance company and I want to root it. the only problem is I cant find evo-root.zip anywhere. I searched in these forums and on the web and the only source I can find it from is evo4g.me and that site apears to be down.
does anyone know of any mirrors?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695878
how is that helpful phatmanxxl? did you find it using the search bar? if so could you please tell me what search terms you used, because as I mentioned in my opening post the only source I can find it from both on these forums and using google is from evo4g.me which happens to be down.
now lets try again:
does anyone know where of any mirrors for this file?
Face-palm...
dude.. please read what he sent you..
a: its not as simple as a zip file(kinda, and a evo-root.zip never existed).. read what Poster #2 suggested
b: Wrong section to post this question (as per the link Poster #2 suggested)
c: read a:
d: Use the Search.. Properly.. and look for "Root" or even "unrevoked"
Im not trying to flame you.. but you will have people here flame you out of existence for this question..
Moved to General as not development.
Don't post questions in development.
Reading the stickies will give you a link to the wiki, which links you to the unrevoked guide.

Sorry I didn't answer your question, there is no EVO.zip.

this ! ive noticed some LAZY people as of late
please put download link to it.
Im guessing you're referring to this thread! and you're correct in that there is no links. That should be your first sign that it's not a good idea to install it if you do find the links somewhere else.
I'm gonna give you some advice. Be cautious of users who post rom or mods in the wrong section, and notice this members post count too!
This sets off red flags that they do not know what they're doing!
Moderator, delete this thread.

I am not responsible for a misuse of these roms. You know what you do when you flash your phone.
Thanks to all the developers that make such a variety possible.

You just posted your own links to other peoples stuff so they in no way get any credit for the work. This is why we have threads for our roms. The links don't even say who the dev is and you should have at least asked first. I don't know about anyone else, but you didn't ask me. Some things that are uploaded aren't always ready or meant to be public.

The whole idea for the thread is fine, but you should have posted links to the rom threads, not your own links to the roms. If theres no thread, don't post it.
