Two words, ThinkOutside and BaddAss!
I can't live without my ThinkOutside BT KB. (Using it now actaually)
They also have a BT mouse but I've no experience with that.
Hi
Did anyone manage to replace the HD's Microsoft BT Stack with the Widcomm (Broadcom) Bluetooth stack? Are there known issues?
Thanks
Are there any replacement BT stacks at all for the default M$ bt stack?
Jetware.
http://www.jetwaremobile.com/
Touch Pro 2 seems to have a different stack then MS but also I heard that its hardware was different. My friend's TP2 seems to be better with A2DP then my HD. The addon mentioned in the above thread did not make difference to me besided showing the time on my AD2P headphones.
I tried the JetWare software already, but it did not work for me. My bluetooth works great to connect with my comp, and other phones, But can't use a hands free car kit. Have a Kenwood radio in my car and a Navigon gps. When connecting to either one, the bluetooth on my TouchHd will just suddenly turn off within a minute (never have more than 1 on at any given time to make sure it is not an interference issue). I know both these hands free sets work, I can connect my wife's T-Mobile dash, and my I-Mate PPC to both with no problem and perfect functionality. Kenwood's website shows compatibility with the touch pro and touch diamond. Are the BT stacks on those any different? I asked HTC and their tech support just said that kenwood does not say that it is compatible. I would think though that even just the basic hands free should still work though and not shut off on it's own.
Any suggestions or help would be very appreciated!

Is this possible at all?
What's the difference between the bluetooth on the Touch pro and the bluetooth on the Touch HD? Kenwood shows full compatability with the Touch Pro and my car radio, but does not even mention the Touch HD, and mine will not work with it. The bluetooth on the Touch HD shuts off right after it connects to the radio. Is there a difference in the bluetooth stack? If so, can it be ported? Is there a bluetooth hardware difference? Is it just a software thing on the phones themselves that might be fixable?
Having recently bought a PS3 and found that inputting text via the controller pad is rather fiddly, I wondered whether there was an application available which would turn my HTC touch into a bluetooth keyboard that I can use instead?
Thanks.
Can anyione tell whether the HD2 uses the Widcomm bluetooth stack as in the TP2 or have HTC reverted to the old MS stack as in the Snap? Thanks.
Its using Widcomm.
mhm. it does have compatibility issues. Stowaway drivers don't work, neither does Resco Explorer or Total Commander if you want to send files by bluetooth.
Stowaway keyboard works fine as standard bluetooth keyboard on HD2 - although you miss out on the function keys.
Mouse doesn't work at all.
Teksoft are developing a widcomm version of their 3rd party mouse and keyboard drivers. Once they have that you will have all the support for both mouse and keyboard you would have had in the past.
Cheers
Paul.
Here you get the beta of RescoExplorer, that supports the widcomm stack regarding sending of files...
Unsolved problems are:
1.) Volume control of stereo-bluetooth headset
2.) MS Voicecommand problems with bluetooth headset
3.) Incompability with some builtin bluetooth car-kits.
trying to connect my mini bluetooth keyboard with some kinda clip anyone know where to find one or how to make one ?
