La soluzione è in due passi (avevo lo stesso problema):
1) Installi un SIP (Software Input Panel, tastiera) italiana, così hai un vocabolario italiano per completare le parole... io uso quella di LEng che è gratuita se usi solo la tastiera e le estensioni di linguaggio. La trovi per il download su www.pocketgear.com
2) Disabiliti il completamento automatico delle parole da parte di Windows nei metodi di Input, tanto ti basta quello di LEng.
Vedrai che "il" resterà "il"... fra l'altro l'apostrofo usato in "I'll" usa caratteri unicode e il messaggio si accorcia a 70 caratteri max... quindi attento!!!

Start/settings/Personal/Input/Word Completition leva la spunta:
- Suggest words when entering text
- Replace text as you type
tanto entrambe queste cose le gestisce poi LEng.

I have used it on WM2003SE WWE and WM2005 (Rom 1.60c) on my Qtek 2020 and I haven't any problem....

I'm looking for all namefile.ext.0410.mui for making cab application for all not-dual-owner in italian language, such as ation screen or touch dual keyboard and so on, like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344533, but only for english users.
Probably in a second time i'll need also some others files for making cab, such as some . exe or .dll.
If someone can upload these files on rapidshare i'll appreciate it very much.
Sto cercando tutti i files nel dispositivo nomefile.estensione.0410.mui (*.0410.mui) per pacchettizzare in cab per utenti italiani tutte le applicazioni estratte dal dual, ma solo purtroppo per gli utenti inglesi (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344533), in modo che ne possano usufruire anche gli utenti italiani nella loro lingua madre. Probabilmente in un secondo tempo avro' anche bisogno di alcuni altri files per fare questi cab, tipo exe o dll.
Se qualcuno puo' uploadarli in rapid share mi fara' un grande favore (e probabilmente anche a tutti gli altri italiani che vogliono usare il cubo, la tasiera virtuale del dual etc ma in italiano).

Thanks a lot for your help. I'll be waiting for u for making touch dual apps cab in italian for all not-dual-owners. If exists a way to dump the rom and extract OEM and SYS folder is even better.

Well, these files comes from a rom dump and tehy're the SYS folder's ones. I'd be interested about the OEM folder's ones, that are the HTC apps that customize the phone. If u have these files u have dumped your rom and extracted your OS (SYS folder) and pre-installed apps (OEM folder). Can u upload the 2 folders zipped on rapidshare? Or, by the way, tell me where can i find it if u have found it dumped?

Dunque questi provengono da un dump della rom e sono quelli dentro la cartella SYS. Sarei interessato anche o meglio soprattutto a quelli dentro la cartella OEM, che riguardano le applicazioni di HTC che customizzano. Se hai questi files e' perche' hai dumpato la rom ed estratto il sistema operativo (SYS) e le applicazioni preinstallate (OEM). Riesci ad uploadare le 2 cartelle zippate su rapidshare? O altrimenti dirmi dove posso trovarle se le hai già trovate dumpate?

The reseller was cheating... He tried to sell me a 20-key version saying that inside will be 2 removable keypad... And won't let me open the box! All this after 3 conversation by phone asking if will be the 16 key version for real!!! What a shame. So, now i own a touchXL and can't help, sorry.

Pretendeva di vendermi la versione a 20 tasti dicendomi che dentro c'erano 2 pad intercambiabili ma non mi faceva aprire la scatola. for now, no way to get wifi&gps enabled. Seems that gps is IN but deactivated in some way. For the wifi seems that the power-component is missing even if the logical components are embedded in chipset so there are very few chances to get it work.
per ora non c'e' modo di attivare gps e wifi. Il gps sembra ci sia ma bloccato in qualche modo, per il wifi invece pare manchi proprio la parte di potenza benche' la logica sia integrata nel chipset quindi ci sono pochissime speranze.

Salve, da circa due settimane il mio pda è cambiato notevolmente. Il problema che stò riscontrando è relativo alla batteria. Circa due settimane fa la batteria mi durava tre giorni utilizzandolo regolarmente. Poi da un giorno all'altro mi sono ritrovato a ricaricare la batteria ogni giorno e addirittura a volte anche due volte al giorno...
Due settimane fa avevo installata la ROM Fly 3.1, pensavo si era incasinata quella, allora l'ho cambiata con la splendita ROM di elias elegance 2.1 ma invece il problema è rimasto.
Premetto che la rete è bloccata in modalità GSM. Altra anomalia, ho lasciato il pda acceso ma con il telefono spento tutta la notte, la sera era al 50% di carica, la mattina al 5%...
uffff... Non riesco a capire il problema... AIUTATEMI

Certo potrebbe essere una ipotesi!!! Però il dubbio che ho è: quasi sempre le batterie si degradano pian piano e non da oggi a domani. La batteria prima mi durava 3 giorni e improvvisamente ora mi dura un giorno. Ovviamente escludo il caso in cui ci sia una memoria che conta le cariche effettuate e dopo un certo numero di cariche da questo problema.
Prima di fare una ipotetica spesa inutile aspetterei la risposta di qualche esperto...
Premetto che il pda ha circa un anno di vita.

e' la stessa cosa che e' successa anche a me ultimamamente , ma il mio htc p3600 ha solo 2 mesi di vita. nelle ultime due settimae arriva a malapena a 12 ore di funzionamento partendo alla mattina con 100% di carica e prima di quel momento teneva tranquillamente i 2 giorni. ho gia' provato a sostituire la batteria e riportare la rom alla versione originale, ma nulla . la batteria ogni ora perde il 10% , utilizzando il pda solo come telefono e con bt e w-fi spenti. indomma mi sa che siamo in due con lo stesso dilemma. se hai metodi che risolvono questo problemi scrivimi perche' e' da due settimane che mi sto dannando di capire il guasto.

eccomi. ho appena scaricato completamente la batteria ed il trinity è in carica... dura pochetto anche a me, potrebbe essere un problema di "calibrazione" della batteria.
ho letto che ogni tanto (ogni 30 cariche dicono) fa bene scaricarla del tutto ma non sempre diciamo!

i'm here. i've just fully discharged trinity's battery, now it's charging... battery drains fast in my pda too so i'm trying a method called "battery calibration" (fully discharge -> fully charge) to see if it gets better.
i read somewhere in the Net that it's not bad to do this once over 30 partial charges.

Tra poco avro' anch'io un trinity, a me hanno sempre detto che la batteria và trattata sempre in questo modo:
- le prime 3 cariche della batteria vanno fatte, una da 12 ore, una da 6 e una di 3 ore.
- le successive normalmente quando la batteria è completamente scarica.
Fin'ora facendo cosi mi sono sempre trovato bene, ho un vecchio Nokia 6600 e ancora tiene bene la carica...

ragazzi forse ho risolto i miei problemi di batteria. ho pensato bene come sono iniziati questi problemi e mi son ricordato che tutto e' nato da quando il pennino si era incastraro all'interno del palmare con la parte di plastica rotta. pensandoci mi son ricordato che per toglierlo avevo usato una pinza appuntita cercando di sforzare il pennino dai fori laterali della sua sede. problabilmente con questa operazione ho toccato o premuto qualcosa che non dovevo fare. non avevo collegato bene questo episodio con il fatto del consumo anomalo della batteria. con tutto cio' ieri ho provato con la punta del pennino a toccare vicino a quella sede e ho verificato che il consumo medio del palmare e' sceso megicamente da 125-130 mA a 20-25 mA. non mi capacito di tutto cio ' , probabilmente ho avuto una botta di culo o probabilmente o toccato qualcosa che non era al suo posto che creava un disturbo al palmare. non so bene cosa abbia toccato o modificato, ma da ora il palmare consuma ai livelli normali. qualcuno sa dirmi cosa posso aver modificato o spostato???cmq per ora tutto funziona bene!!! speriamo e grazie a tutti quelli che hanno risposto a questo forum e per cercato di darmi una mano. saluti

(new 3g connection, apn: datacard.fastweb.it, fastweb.it, fastwebnet.it or even new connection (not 3g) with numer *99# and a lot of username/password configurations)
It is really annoying. I want to use the htc shift x9500 but if i cannot use it outside a wifi connection is useless for me.

Bolzano - Alto Adige, la citta' piu' vicina e' Trento ma e' ad 1 ora circa a sud, non credo proprio che il meteo sia esatto. Non c'e' proprio possibilita' di aggiungere le citta'? Per touch hd e diamond c'erano dei cab che giravano per aggiungere tutte le citta' e tutte le regioni
