I installed wisbar and decided it was lagging too much, uninstalled, and now I have no battery level indicator on my today screen.
how do I get that back? any ideas?
What battery level indicator? BatteryStatus?
Try going to Settings->Today Screen-> Uncheck plugin, click OK, go to that settings once again, check the plugin, click OK.
If its the one in the taskbar, try this I found in the wiki. Set it to 1:
Hide/Show battery indicator in Task bar
If you wish to hide the battery indicator in the task bar on some devices, you can set:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 0 (DWORD decimal)
And to show:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 1 (DWORD decimal)
I hope it helps!
Just searched for this to see about removing the power status bar from the top right corner as I have just installed batterystatus and I have no power under HKLM\Services ?
Can it be added if it is not there?
Are you talking about the battery indicator in the bottom tray? Try this little app. You will always know how much battery power you have even while listening to music on a media player.

im not able to see the battery status on my task bar when i purchased the phone it was there but now i couldnt see it.anyboy know how to slove this problem. Also how to minimize a particular programme.
If you have set the clock to be displayed in all programs the battery is not shown. You have to disable this function to have the battery bar shown.
Hi, I just compared my X1 to my friends and he has a batteryicon in his start-line at the top of the screen, which i don't. I have a clock instead.
It has to be a way to change, but how?
cheers!
edit: found the solution, just inactivate the clockfunction =)
In Clock & Alarm setting (click on the date bar on today screen)
go to 'More' tab
uncheck the option 'Display the clock on the title bar in all programs'
or you can show both battey icon and clock by using SPB Pocket Plus
Or you can do the same thing with QuickMenu: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451983&highlight=quickmenu
Hello, i was just wondering if there is a way to display the battery in the status bar, i have 6.5 installed on the phone and when im on the home screen, i have the Clock displayed in the status bar instead of the battery indicator, but when i go to clock settings, i DO NOT have a check mark in the box to display the clock on all screens, but on the home screen its STILL there, how can i make it so that the battery status bar is there instead of the clock ?

I believe HD Tweak has this option
How do you disable the quick connect bar in the drop down menu? I used PDP to disable, but the icon still show? TIA.
Just double drop the slide down menu so it shows more icons and it's at the bottom of notifications bar and click edit at the top.
Cool, thanks you
I think i'm spoiled by custom roms.
Is there an easy way to show the battery percentage in the status bar at the top of the screen? (i can't remember if this is called status bar or notification bar but its where the clock and notification icons show up)
Yes, pull down notification tray and long click (or press several clicks - can't remember) on settings icon. It will add system ui tuner to your settings menu. There you can add battery percentage icon to inside the battery icon
Yes. Pull down quick settings and hold the settings icon for a few seconds then release it. If you scroll down to the bottom of your settings page you should now have a section named 'System UI Tuner' where you can do this.
What an awesome tip! I had no idea about "System UI Tuner". Thanks guys!
Thanks for this tip ....
On Oreo this option is also found under battery settings.
On Nougat battery text was inside the icon, on Oreo it's on the left side and to my eye a bit bigger than clock. I couldn't stand this design flaw, but fortunately Gravity box can fix it and show text inside the icon again or on the right side and with smaller font.
