is there anyway to get an rss reader in outlook mobile?
I'm not sure I understand? Arcsoft is an MMS composer. What does it have to do with RSS? Can't you just install one of the many RSS readers on your device?
of course I can. but I wanted to know if there was a plugin for rss.

Once again why? I'm not sure why you mention Arcsoft.
Arcsoft is an MMS program, why would they have an RSS plugin? That is like asking for an RSS plugin for Paint. They don't have anything to do with each other.
Try Newsbreak or pRSS, both are standalone RSS programs.

Hey. I've been searching for a good NTTP newsreader for my t-mobile mda, and I've only found crap programs. the closest i came was some software that began qith a "Q," but setting it up just to read one newsgroup was near impossible. has anyone found a quality app? Thanks.
If you use Newsgator online, there is a new mobile version that will sync all of your PC's Newsgator Online feeds with your device.
If not, try the brand new offering by Spb called Spb Insight. Let's you read feeds online and offline. And if the feed is just a headline - it also downloads the link the feed refers to so that you can still read it offline.
Finally there is Newsbreak by Resco, which is a nice reader, but the feeds are limited.
Also, if you already use Qmail or just want a great mailer client, give a try to the free Qmail - it also has excellent NNTP newsreading capabilities. Please see http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=557&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 for more info.
J-Mac: I don't think he was talking about RSS feeds, but Usenet Newsgroups.
I too tried Quesnetsoft and found it hard to use
thanks for the suggestions.. i'll try qmail first. since it's free..

Nice idea; you'll love it, I'm sure. Also, don't forget to check out the Mailer Bible if you want to use it as a mailer client too.
i am using Mytunes RSS and am wondering how i can get it working with my wizard...is there a program that can do this and how?
Hi,
Due to the problems with Gmail Imap and the standard WM6 mail client I'm now using Flexmail. No problems relationship with blank bodies with it.
I was wondering if it is possible to integrate Flexmail into HTC Home because this only shows email count for the standard client. At Flexmail forums are telling that it is not possible but if it is impossible, how to configure at least the email count to link to Flexmail instead of the standard email client?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Carlos

This is going to be implemented in the newer version coming soon.
One feature I think would be hard to implement would allowing the shortcuts on HTC Home go to Flexmail or any other client. The general consensus says the link is hardcoded to pocket outlook.

But there are already patches on this forum that change the shortcut to go directly to FlexMail. I don't have the links off hand, so you'll have to search; sorry...

Hi all, I have newsbreak and its pretty good, does pretty much all I want it too, but I was wondering if there was an rss reader that I could install on the laptop and the ppc that would work for both and sync both... Is there a good laptop rss reader that downloads podcasts and articles for later listening/reading when I am not connected and that I could sync with a ppc version? Hope that is clear, I am not too sure about all this rss stuff to be honest... thanks in advance...
Hi,
I currently use Google's free rss reader (if u search for it it's pretty easy to find).
It doesn't do podcasts i don't think but it does sync with googl's reader and has a decent today plugin.
HTH.
Gsdget.
I use RSS Hub @ www.illiumsoft.com
Very good but not sure about syncing between laptop and mobile...
