interresting info about GPS

Hi guys, I reading some info about geocaching DGPS, WAAS and EGNOS and I want to share one info. As default in Sirf Star III receiver firmware is enabled the so-called Static navigation, this mean if your speed is lower than 4Km/h GPS stop actualisation and fix position on last coordinates, and you dont know exactly, where you are. Then when you move slowly your point on map jump. This is not problem in car, but for walkers or tourist or geocachers is not so good. Exist few programs to set this off, especially for PDA. Almost ready to give up on camera problem

I have a Cingular 8525 with the latest (v7) spl and 1.04 loader.
No matter what rom I load I cannot get the camera to work. The WM5 rom doesn’t even display the camera icon in programs. WM6 has it but when I click it nothing happens. I did get fail to initialize when I tried to use a 3rd party camera.
I have searched countless forums and there are no answers.
Does anyone out there know how to make my work again

It used to work. Then suddenly stopped.

I don't think you will get any joy on any forum, if as I suspect you have a hardware problem. It may be as simple as this connector having popped off:

but on it, it says imate pda2. (above touchscreen to left says imate, to right says pda2, just clarifiying..)
ow and it says PH10D
i'm confused! before this himalaya & andes came out i was always looking at alpine. now which is it? why is this pda naming so stupid? why can't it just be like nokia, samsung...same worldwide..

looks dont mean that much
and andes seem to be pretty rare
and both came out before alpine did
in xda-wiki you can see the diff in the spcs

hmm thanks seems like its an alpine so no nice os upgrades damn it.

Will pay for a custom WM6 rom for a new mobile phone

I am looking for a software guru to help me put WM6 on this phone, it is not made by HTC. I would pay even more if the WM6 had my own splash images on it. This is not a hobby thing and I have real money to pay for someone who can help me out, it would not be a one time thing either I would have other things to do down the road. Question about the LCD screen model to use

Hello,
I have a SPV M650, which is the Orange version of the Artemis.
I bought a replacement LCD screen on ebay.
The seller is telling me that there are 2 different models of screen for this SmartPhone.
Does anyone know which model i should use for my spv m650 ?
I don't have the tools to open the phone yet.

I changed the screen for my Trinity, the model is the one one the right.
The sticker on the box says P3300/P3600. Is it true?

I have just replaced a broken scren on my Orbit - it was style A, but i only found that out by opening my phone up! it is quite straightforward as long as you hace the correct screwdriver.
