Hi,
I have been using Windows Live Messenger/Skype off my Hermes for quite some time now and I liked it. Now, I will be going outstation for 2 weeks, and I wish to stay in touch with my friends and family. So is it possible for me to use video call off wifi connections? If yes, what programs need I use? I have tried windows live messenger and skype on my phone. They do not support video calls.
Thanks
I have the touch pro, and also want to use msn with videocalling....
Try Microsoft Portrait. Microsoft Portrait is a research prototype for mobile video communication. I've tried it nearly a year ago. It worked, but the quality was awful.
Would be a good thing

the developing has stopped...

Hi all,
Does the Touch HD have the ability to divert a voice call to an inbuilt voice recording on the Touch HD? (i.e. like the O2 Stealth app- see link below)
O2 Stealth with a built in "virtual" answering machine:
Records incoming calls to the device. Really annoys your service provider. No more wasting minutes checking voicemail.

Thanks,

The answer is no, but indeed you can have an app activate speakerphone mode and then record conversations, for example with Audio Notes Touch http://iwindowsmobile.com/mobile-audio-recorder.html
I guess a program about it "could" be made but nothing seems to exists up to now
Why iSecretary can’t mute the microphone of my xperia x1 and why the caller can’t hear my answer message
How can I fix this using registry or any tweak tool for windows mobile 6.1
thanks
I've downloaded the latest fring windows mobile cab and installed it, but when I launch it - nothing happens.
I'm trying to get my google voice to integrate with my phone.
I have a Gizmo account and using Nimbuzz, I can dial out from
voice.google.com and talk over my TP2, but I can't use for instance iDialer to call out. I did set up my gizmo/google voice callbacks for iDialer.
I can't answer incoming calls over nimbuzz either, I answer but cant press 1 to accept the call
edit: disabled the "confirmation" on google voice but now it just keeps ringing even after answering?
I'm using Energy Leo WM6.5.3 ROM
Any help would be much appreciated!!
edit:
Been looking at why it wont work all morning, some say HTC Messaging, some say Sense 2.5, some say it flat out won't work with Energy Leo... o.0
bump.
i cant call out via idialer, i can dial out via gv web interface.
i cant answer incoming calls, only dialed out calls
my incoming sound isnt friendly except speakerphone (bluetooth/earpiece/headset i cant hear, but the other person can hear me)
edit:
got my SIP set up in the registry for WM InternetCalling, just need some codecs now and i need to test iDialer more.
I have a Sprint Touch Pro2. I also use Microsoft Outlook quite a bit and noticed that there is a call button. Is there anyway to use that function to call people using Outlook and my cell phone?
