This is a freeware. There is a better program called Smartfilter but not for free (find it on Pocketgear)

So is there sourcecode available for this anywhere? It's a great program, but it would be good to expand on it. It'd also be good to release a freeware smartphone version. There's nothing free like this for smartphone yet that I've found.

are there any other new softwares avilable for call & sms blocking any professional softwares. pls

ok this is the one .............but would also like to know if theres a software which does the work as answering machine......auto pick up the call and play back a recording from your pda ?

There was software that does this that was bundled with the Hewlett-Packard Jornada 928 in Britain.
Anyone own one of these? =0)

Changing the Dialer

During the MS Win Mobile 2005 roadshow thingy, I distinctly remember one guy showing us the dialer with a Halo skin on it...
Whilst I'm not bothered about the Halo one, I do want to find out how to change the skin itself for my Exec.
I've had a quick scan about but can't see anyone making reference to this. Can somebody shed some light on this?

People who saw the Wm2005 webcast with Bill Gates, followed by someone showing how easy it was to write code for WM2005, etc, etc.....they had customised dialer screens with a Halo theme.
Does NOONE remember this?

I remember this and like you i was not intrested in the Halo skin / theam, but was intrested in changing it to my design

I also remember it- I hope they release a today theme/dialler creator for WM5, like they did for 2002. It's about time they updated it!

an app to turn on flash light at the back

hi everyone , i am looking for an application to turn on flash light at the of wizard so i can use it for example to see key hole of the my main door in the dark
any one has any info? i belive vijay555 can create one?

I believe I can make one as well, but there's a lot of incredible guys on here, and I'm an insignificant beginner, so it's disrespectful to the others :wink:
I have done some work on the flash. I'll be posting some info shortly, most likely failure, but with a way to achieve success. I'll clarify soon.

Yeah, it's useless with boolean searches. I've found it more helpful if you tell it to show posts, not topics.
Basically, AFAIK, it's not been achieved yet. But I know it can be, and I've done some work on it. But being nearly there isn't the same as being there, so no, I haven't done it yet. But...

Guys, as of 3am yesterday I managed to control the flash, so I've made the torch app for the Universal.

I'll report back shortly, but there is flash light on the back of the wizard, right? I will start checking if I can write this for the wizard as well.

vijay555 - you could just have a Wizard owner try the code you're using on the Exec? Chances are it's the same driver/etc. (IA Camera)

ZeBoxx: I'm sure it's likely to be the same code, but curiously the hard reset code wasn't the same between these devices. There's different mechanisms required to hard reset a Universal and a Wizard. I'm going to try to rip a rom from the FTP and have a look. There are several apps I need to investigate for several slightly overlapping hacks I'm working on.
Also, the different processors require a different treatment with some of these hacks... but if I get to that position, I'll shout out for a wizard beta tester. I'll have to try to get hold of one briefly to try out an app or two... off to the O2 shop to "demo" one

Guys, on my website I've posted VJCandelaLite 0.2 beta. This is hopefully Wizard compatible, but I can't test it since I don't have one. Someone brave, please give it a go and report back

I think it's a roaming icon. I've got it now T-Mobile lets me use Orange towers.
