My T-Mobile MDA US G3 IPL/SPL 2.26 running Faria's PRO ROM kitchen keeps having a problem where my screen turns completely white at random times and does not go away until i slide the keyboard slightly out. This has been happening when i was on Core 2.0 and now Faria's ROM and even when i downgraded to the T-Mobile 2.26 ROM when switching from Core to Faria it happened. Is there any way to fix this, please someone help me I cant stand not being able to use my phone as my screen keeps on turning white unless i have the keyboard slid out slightly. If it is slid out all the way it will keep turning white and if is not slid out at all my screen will keep turning white. It gets really annoying when you are trying to type something and the screen turns white and you have to slide they keyboard back in and out. If there is anyone who has some sort of idea on how to fix this or a fix to it please tell me!!

Ok, i need some help here, i flashed my 8125 with the AKU 2.0 QTek rom and everything works great on it(wifi, gprs, ect...) except when i call somebody and end the call, the call screen turns into my today screen...i go to start>today, but its still stuck on the call screen...it also happens when im in my com manager and programs list...
I don't know if some how magic button is interfering with the rom, but that really makes me want to go back to the original cingular rom...
Can anybody figure out why this is happening? Has anyobdy else had this problem?
I'm hoping you guys can help. I have searched and cannot find reference to this problem, but I cant believe I'm the only one... I have the HTC Wizard in the O2 XDA mini s form.
Whenever I slide out the keyboard to write a text, within a second or so the screen freezes. I can continue pressing typing but nothing on the screen changes. If I press the screen off button to turn just the screen off, then back again, I can see the newly typed text, and then it freezes again straight away.
Is anyone else suffering with this problem please?
Has anyone solved it?

Well, sounds like the keyboard inputs are getting there (a good thing), perhaps something is running in the background eating up resources not allowing the display to update. What’s in your “windows/startup” folder? Also, what today plugins are you running? Have you burnt a new ROM or are you running the original?
Hi, thanks for the reply. Im still running the original ROM. I don't think its a background task issue. The screen freezes and distorts (lighter coloured lines across the screen.) Im pretty sure its not just a refresh issue.
I guess I just assumed something like this must be a common problem, that others have had and solved.

I'm having the exact same problem and I really dont know what to do. Its happening on every ROM I install, even if I revert back to the original ROM. I have a feeling its my SD card, but I cant tell which folder specifically.
Maybe bad flex-cable could cause that kind of problem.
Yeh, same here.. I think its about the flex cable also. It stopped on my case for a while when i dissassembled the wiz and cleaned it up... but it continues now propably would help if got new flexi cable, or could it come when phone gets cold? its pretty freezy in finland sometimes sry about bad language.
whenever it gets to the "dont turn anything off" phase, my phone turns black and reboots with the 4 color screen which has my info and says usb. I have wizard love 2.26 on my phone. any suggestions?

Hi I have a o2 xda orbit also known as the HTC Artemis.
My phone keeps crashing into a white screen, So iv updated the rom to the Artemis Touch 4.01 and 4.02 rom update. it still crashes into a white screen.
Can anyone help, iv searched for the last 4 days trying to find a thread that may help. but cant find anything.

Ok you guys are not much help at the moment so il give you an update on what im doing.
Iv done the cid unlock
updated the radio to 3.39.90
then update the os to ARTE_WM6.5__3_15_122_43__B21502
All works fine for 12hrs - 18hrs then it seems as i am playing with the phone it crashes
So i put the factory rom back on and started from scratch.
this rom does the same after some time playing about with the phone,
Crashes into a whit screen.
I have no idea what is going on.
I have read on this massive forum that it could be a CPU Reflow problem.
does anyone have a clue how to fix this so I can try it

Hey peeps got the Orbit working.....
heres how i fixed the fading white screen.....
all you need to do is dismantle the phone and everything inside to get to the internal battery. its located under the screen in the top left corner.
My internal battery had blown open and started leaking also it was not giving out any power or charging.
This also caused other problems like the main battery not charging or device not turning on.
So I stoped the fading white screen by changing the internal battery

Help!! I'm not sure what to do!! My phone (same as a mytouch 3g) no longer shows anything, it's just a blank black screen, even when it starts up. The phone functions fine, as do the LEDs. I can hear the volume and calls and whatever else, the screen is just black. The backlight works though.
If anyone knows a fix for this, I would very much appreciate it!
Oh I've been running MGLIN Hero v 3.3 for like 3 weeks now. The screen thing just happened overnight .
Oh I've also tried pulling out the battery ect ect many times and running a magnet over the screen (read on a forum it could work XD).

Just incase anyone else comes up with this problem, you need to take it apart and disconnect/reconnect the lcd cable and it works!! Yayyy!!
