Dial Lag - Anyone else experiencing this? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

I'm used to hard keys so when I dial with the WM6 dial pad, it lags really bad/doesn't properly register my dials cause I'm a fast dialer. Other than going slower, is there some fix for this?
Or at least if the dial tones would register fast enough I could know if I dialed correctly or not.

any ideas???

problems with making phone calls

I am getting really frustrated with this tytn rom 1.31.255.1 09/19/06 radio version 1.14.00.00.
Many times when I press the green dial button or the soft skin button to dial out the phone does not dial out ( makes some stupid sound ) and the number shows up as the last call number. This happens a lot. The phone shows dialling out but then cuts out.
Any ideas!!
Thanks
same here. But I'm in a UMTS migration area, and i think that has something to do with it. Used to be fine. even my old ipaq h6315 can get a fix on a signal where the tytn can't. and the ipaq was KNOWN for being a crappy phone.

Phone keypad tone problem

Hi guys,
Hoping someone could help me out. I tried installing a program (forgot the name) that would make the phone vibrate as you keyed #'s on your phone pad, and it didn't work, so I uninstalled it. But what it did was screw up my phone keypad. It doesn't sound the typical # tones when dialing, just a ping for each #, and it is also a lot slower to respond to keying each number too.
Anyone know how to fix it back to the way it was without a hard reset?
I even installed Eten Dialer today (great program with the larger keys), and it has the same problem (slow to respond to each keypress and has the ping sound for each key).
Help!

Force number pad in phone app?

Is there a way to have the numeric keypad show up during all phone calls? right now it only shows up when i call voice mail. I know I can hit the "keypad button" to have it come up, but this is a step I'd rather not have to take. I do a lot of conference calls from my phone and having the number pad would be far more convenient than the 6 options that I have showing now. My guess was that somehow the phone knows when i am calling voicemail and that's why it keeps the numbers showing...i was hoping there was a way to trick the phone into thinking that all of my calls were to voicemail...
anybody have a clue?
Thanks,
Jason

Phone lag help.

So I'm using the Touch HD and it is working flawlessly so far but the one thing that bothers me is incoming calls. Sometimes the phone will just vibrate and not ring, other times it will be a delay before the ringer comes in and announces who's calling. OR it might just display the number and no name with it.
Currently I have gyrator2 running, with MS Voice Command and the Sim Contacts Hider. I have a custom ringtone cut, thats .mp3 format. Is any of these the problem? I disabled gyrator2 to only work if my stylist is out to see if that will help but it gets annoying to not be able to receive calls flawlessly without any problems. I was leaning that it might be MS Voice Command...
Any suggestions?
I had a similar problem on my Palm 750 and sorted it by disabling voice dialling from one of the Settings options. You might start there.

dialpad not working during call.

Pretty much like the title says.. when I make a call the dialpad box is grayed out and I can't brink it up. Getting annoying due to the fact that I cant get rid of the voice mail icon or enter pin numbers or anything along those lines.
Anyone have any ideas? I looked for a setting that would enable/disable this, but couldnt find anything.
I know it worked before.. so could an app or something I recently added have disabled it somehow?
When did this start and what were you doing just prior to this problem? Are you rooted?
yes, phone is rooted.
Really hard to say when it started. Ive done some more tests.. Any number I call, including random numbers(like 1234) will bring the dial pad up. only time It doesn't show the dial pad is when I call Softbank's(Japan) voice mail(1416).
Ive even tried to bring up the dial pad, like im going to be making another call, and it wont make the tones that notifies the voice mail service to do anything.
so I guess the question is, how does the phone know to activate the dial pad when you make a call?
