Did anyone find a way to use WI-FI(much faster then BT/IR) to transfer files to a PC?
why should we use BT(MAX of 18 Kb/s) when we can use WI-FI with a max of 10 Mb/s??
If you mean ad-hoc connection, I have not tried but if you mean connecting the PPC to a network, just share a folder on the PC and transfer files through that shared folder.
Unfortunately, there don't seem to be a way to make a share folder on a PPC.

you could install a ftp server such as vxftp.
I just share a folder on my laptop, then connect laptop and PDA both to same wireless base station. You can type in "\\servername" in totalcommander and navigate to your laptop and copy files back and forth. Works for Windows PCs - not sure about Macs/Linux.

I am trying to send files from my Desktop PC via Bluetooth to my i-Mate 2020 but it doesnt work. On the other hand I am able to send files from my i-Mate 2020 to my Desktop PC.
My Desktop PC is running Win XP with SP 2.

Did you try, from your pda, setting up a bluetooth file explorer type connection (might be called "browse files on another device") pick you PC, pull files off onto pda.
I've done it between a blue angel and an XPSP2 desktop, worked fine. but I've only done it the once

Is there a way for me to browse the files on which ever computer I am connected to via USB? I would like to be able to plug in my usb cable to a computer and then be able to browse its contents from my PDA. Any ideas?

Resco File Explorer 5.22 let's me browse my shared files on both my Mac OS X an WinXP PCs.
I can play (stream) my music and videos from those PCs flawlessly to my PDA2k...

if you have wifi access in ur home you cud also use logmein to remote control ur computer from ur pda. (www.logmein.com)

I have 2 pc (desktop & server, both running win xp pro), and an HTC Tytn II, connect together with a router (it also has wireless). I've installed on my pda resco explorer 2007. My problem is the following :
Using windows explorer and also using Resco explorer I can't see on my pda shared folders located on server pc. On both computers there are many shared folders. While I can see shared folders of desktop pc. Why ???

Cant you do that with wifi? Yes yo do have to share your computer for access though.
i use total commander, it has plugin for ftp download here... but you need run on pc a ftp server like Filezilla Server
Resco File Explorer has the best FTP explorer for it ;-)

Now the problem is,today i am trying to access my DHD files via wifi using SwiFTP,it's ok but i cant access my laptop's files from my DHD using es file manager.It shows nothing on scan.I am going to lan option then menu->new->scan, it shows nothing.Plz help me brother.And forgive me for my bad english.
