Listen To Music Over Bluetooth Tweak - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I remember reading about a tweak that would let me listen to music over my bluetooth headset. Not the stereo headset, just the mono one. Anybody know about that tweak? I read about it before I learned what the hell tweaking was. Now I can't find it for the life of me.

try this
put the executable file in your phone and create a shortcut for this in startmenu, it will direct all the sounds in your phone to bluetooth headset.

You Are A Freaking Life Saver.

In case you are interested and didn't already know, you can create a playlist with Mortplayer and link BTAudio Toggle with the playlist with MortScript to create a voice activation of your playlist.

can i play audio through my bluetooth hands free?

I have searched but cant find the answer. i would like to listen to my podcasts (i know it would be mono but thats fine for podcasts). can it be done and how?
for whats its worth, i am using conduits pocket player.
thanks again.
You can use VJ Volubilis to guide all the phonesounds to your BT headset. You can download the program here: http://www.vijay555.com/vj/releases/vjvolubilis/vjvolubilis.cab
More info here: http://www.vijay555.com/?Releases:VJVolubilis
after installation, you've got the following file on your pocket pc:
\program files\vijay555\vjvolubilis\vjvolubilis.exe
This program works with commands added to vjvolubils.exe
You can best create 2 shortcuts to vjvolubilis.exe and edit the shortcuts so that they state:
To switch on Audio Gateway:
Code:
\program files\vijay555\vjvolubilis\vjvolubilis.exe -agon
To switch off Audio Gateway:
Code:
\program files\vijay555\vjvolubilis\vjvolubilis.exe -agoff
I use MS Voice command and a Motorola HS810 and it works without the method mentioned above.

It works perfectly for me. Had to change, with total commander, the dir of the executable within the installed new links and afterwards the windows-icons changed into the right vjvolubilis-icons. I made only a new one for GPRS for testing and also this one works. I use agon & agoff the most because it's good enough to work with.
Fanx alot.
hey gajet-grl you can hear music through your hs850!? how does it sound? I want to do the same but i have my doubts on using the hs850 or go and buy a ht820. let me know thank you.

Re-assigning AVRCP controls?

I've seen a thread (over here) that describes an app someone wrote to make the AVRCP commands of a bluetooth A2DP stereo headset control GSPlayer instead of Windows Media Player.
This got me thinking... Is there a way we can create customized commands for the AVCRP controls to do whatever we want?
I could think of a few things I'd like them to do rather than just pause/play rr/ff in WMP!
For starters, I'd like them to signal TCPMP instead, followed by a togglescreen command. Or perhaps have shortcuts... the play/pause button could start TomTom, or toggle the phone in/out of silent... I think this could be a very useful tool!
How difficult is this to do?

listen to music, vibrate mode, HOW?

Hi
I have searched but did not find a good answer or solution, how in hell can I listen to music with vibrate mode? it's very annoying that I can't do it, for example when I have many people around me for example at the train, I want to listen to music without hearing the stupid ringtone come through the speakers even when I use the handsfree I get the ringtone direct in my ear and the speakers, why? any solution? I think maybe the problem is Windows Mobile but there must be a way to fix this...
I have found a solution for this, but you will have to use a freeware app called G-Profile.
Install it
Create a profile called Music (or whatever)
In Type choose: Program Based
Choose your Music Player in "Execute"
Change the Notifications: For instance: Phone: Incoming call, choose "Vibrate"
Quick and dirty tutorial, but try G-Profile, get the hang of it and you'll be glad you did.
thanks working
i just have a silent ringtone lol

Windows Media Player Alternatives?

So...
WMP sucks... its slow to switch songs... tough to create playlists and freezes up my Ozone whenever I am listening to music and get a txt/email.
However one thing it does do is allow me to use the song select buttons on my stereo bluetooth headset.
What I am looking for is an alternative to WMP that allows the use of those buttons.
I really like Pocket Tunes - clean interface, easy to use... wicked fast song switching but it doesnt recognize the buttons on the Headset.
I havent been able to get Core Player to work on it... keeps giving errors.
Any suggestions or rec's would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
Try Kinoma Play.
i think either vlc or mplayer also has a windows mobile (though it may be in beta)

Pocket Player will use the buttons on the headset, but you MUST go into comm manager and set your bluetooth to stereo and hands free each time prior to using Pocket Player. This happens with some headsets for some reason.
My Jabra BT8010 set works fine without having to go into comm man each time, but my old Motorola set did not.
I 2nd Kinoma Play. Easy UI, good features, smooth operation.

controlling wmp while locked or in another app
I am a newbie coming from blackberry & i have a question. On the bberry, if the phone is locked u can still control the music player by using the volume up/down keys to change volume & change tracks. You can also control the volume & change tracks when not even in the media player screen...for example if i switch over to look at my email....is there a modification that will make this possible on a wm6x phone?
Core player, TCPMP, or HTC Audio manager are good. I made a Titanium HTC Audio Manager panel for my latest ROM. You have to enable it in CHome Config.
Will the voice recognition software work with other players?

[REQ] Tasker help or Script Request

Ok, so I just got started with Tasker and thought of a simple function I'd like it to automate for me. I'm having a hard time figuring this out so I'm turning to the XDA community. Basically, I'd like for it to be able to toggle the Media (A2DP) profile on my car's bluetooth connection for me. I want the profile to be off by default, but turned on when I launch media apps like music player, youtube, pandora, etc. The reason for this is that if I leave the media profile active but I'm listening to my iPod or XM, things like navigation or TiKl calls all get routed to the car, but on a different input than the one I'm listening to. So, I basically can't hear any of the sound from my phone unless I toggle the media profile off, but I need it to be on when I want to listen to music.
I looked through the settings of Tasker and did some googling, I can't seem to find any setting for Tasker to switch only the media profile of a bluetooth connection. But, I did read that Tasker can run a script. So, does anyone know how to write a script that would switch the media profile on and another script to switch it off? then I can just have Tasker execute the script under the right circumstances.
If there is another way to do what I want please tell me, thanks in advance for any help!
