Source for Touch Pro USB connector?

Got my TP from a friend and it works OK, but the pins on the USB connector were bashed in. I can get an insurance replacement for the $100 deductible but was wondering if there is a source for the USB jack and if it's a reasonable DIY repair.
Any thoughts?
My usb jack is also broken. need to replace a new one
WHERE TO BUY?!?!

[Q] Motherboard replaced

Hi to all,
I've had my motherboard replaced by HTC due to phone stucked on white screen at the boot (very fast I must admit. Last monday I send it and today I received it repaired, I hope). One question if someone has the answer. With MB they have replaced usb connector for charge too ? I've the nightmare that connector may be damaged wiring and unwiring cord for charge. So I'll be more happy to know that the connector too is new. I've had the connector broken after two months with an old samsung and they didn't repair it because said that I've had broken it.
I'm thinking to buy a powermat......
Thanks

my new HD2 Digitizer not responding

Hi,
my screen broke about 5months ago. So i bought a new digitizer to replace it but after I soldered and installed it, the touch screen didnt respond. So I sent back the digitizer for another one and same thing happened.
Then I bought a screen + digitizer already soldered and tried to replace it but same thing.
When the screen was broken the touch screen still worked, weird uh?
Any idea?
Probably in the process of removing the old digitizer... the female connector on the board that connects to the flex cable of the digitizer might be broken... so my guess... you might need a new board

In fact, it's affected some soldering point(s) of the female lcd connector on the motherboard: some skilled service guy can fix it ( worse case scenario you'll have to replace connector!).
Ok I will try checking the connector. Thx

Micro usb problem!

The microusb port on my n7 2012 isn't working anymore... Is there any way to charge it without the micro usb port?
use a dock, good luck finding one at this point.
alternatively repair or replace the usb port. a repair can be done with some rosin core solder and a soldering iron. you simply reshape the metal part of the connector and apply solder to the joint where the pieces of the metal meet. havent had an issue since i did that.
Buy another USB port/headset adapter from EBAY, they cost like $15 I've broken about 4 of them and its very easy to replace. You remove the back cover, lift out the battery and disconnect it. You don't need to solder anything if you just get a new port.

I used this one on my N7, less than $10 - worked great, and as mentioned above, you just need a small screw driver.
